Abstract

The purpose of this research is the completion of a competency-based training system for managerial employees in the directorate Content Business MNC period 2008-2011. The object of research and the scope of the study is limited to developing a system of competency-based training for managerial-level employees in the directorate Content Business. Competency-based training system composed only covers aspects of the preparation of the training objectives, the selection of training methods, preparation of training materials, as well as the preparation of training evaluation. Competency-based training system composed only cover the system's core competency training, behavioral competency and role competency. The results obtained are the completion of a competency-based training system for managerial employees in the directorate Content Business MNC period 2008-2011 and its implementation plan. The key to successful implementation of the system of competency-based training as one of the implementation of the Human Resource Management (HRM) based on competency is communicating the purpose and benefits of the system implementation of competency based training to all ranks, starting from directors and gradually downward, so that the commitment and support is obtained from all sides. Implementation of competency-based training system as one of the implementation of the Human Resource Management (HRM) based on competency is a change that should also be considered ways to manage the changes that occur synergy.

Abstract

This study discusses and examines two important parts of non-profit organizations accounting principles and strategies for developing a reliable accounting system. A thing researched specifically is about the application of accounting principles non-profit organization in hospital. Besides the issue of the principle of accounting information systems development strategy should produce a variety of information (financial statements) are needed by the users. There are significant differences between the accounting principles of non-profit organizations with a commercial venture. The principal difference is the financial statement item is a report that activity in a commercial venture called the income statement. The essential thing again is on its established objectives in the organization. This study uses the approach to the study of literature and data processing technology that will be used. Literature study was done by using a variety of literature and accounting standards on the issues of non-profit organizations, especially hospitals. Software that is used in the design of information systems is MYOB Accounting. The data used are fictitious data. This is the case of fictitious data and transactions that describe how the operational and reporting/ accountability of non-profit organization's activities in the accounting period. This study only emphasizes the journalizing logic that helps the residents learn to understand the logic of debiting and crediting. In addition, the learners and users of accounting software will gain knowledge of accounting principles and the use of accounting data processing technology in a practical.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to get empirical evidence of the influence of user involvement in the development process accounting information systems, personal technical ability Accounting Information Systems, the size of the organization and support of top management in the process of development and operation of Accounting Information Systems on performance of information system. The method of data collection in this study is the use of questionnaires. A questionnaire was distributed to 20 consultants in PT PK previously replied to the confirmation of filling the questionnaire. The analysis tool used is a correlation. The results showed that the involvement of users in the development of the SIA has no effect on the results and user satisfaction. SIA personal technical ability has no effect on satisfaction and usage. The size of the organization has no effect on user satisfaction. While top management support positive effect on user satisfaction.

Abstract

This study examines the level of adoption of Internet banking in Indonesia, particularly students of higher education at Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Transportasi Trisakti. For theoretical framework, Technology Acceptance Model is adopted by using four independent variables. The sampling method was used with a total of 100 respondents, which included students of higher education at Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Transportasi Trisakti. To collect the data self-administered questionnaire of two parts were used: Demographic and Likert scale multi-item scale for variables under study. Based on the results, there are indications that convenience, perceived credibility, and perceived use-fulness have significant positive influence among students on the intention to adopt internet banking. The findings from this research would be useful for banks in the subject area, particularly for students of higher education at Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Transportasi Trisakti.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence market orientation, knowledge management, dan customer relationship management toward business performance. The research sample was 100 respondents selected by random sampling method from saving’s customer several state owned banks within Jakarta. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The result on this research is there an effect market orientation, knowledge management, and customer relationship management toward business performance. It’s mean that all the independent variables are have effect toward dependent variable.

Abstract

Companies that have good performance seen by its ability to generate profits, the company's value will increase. The value of the company is reflected in the company’s shares price. Company’s size also refers to company’s total assets. With the rising of the company’s assets, company’s ability to generating profit will increase which will make the company’s value increase. The investors will more concern to the dividend paid from one company in the present time rather than the profitable price volatility in the future time. The company can be say in their optimal level when the company can balance its advantage and disadvantage which are arise from the using of debt. Therefore, an optimal capital structure will increase the company’s value.

Insurance undertakings become increasingly important role, because of its business activities in addition to providing protection to the community is also a deposit-taking institution that is sourced from premium revenue of the society in which these funds can be invested in productive sectors and safe as well as expected .industri this insurance can be more enhance the growth of gross domestic product (GDP). The development of the insurance industry in Indonesia can not be separated from economic and technological developments in human life. The more limited sources of human needs in an effort to increase its prosperity then grew human effort to utilize the resources that exist and attempt to secure either on themselves or their families and possessions of other events that may cause harm or cause disorder in achieving goals their life.

Abstract

The Research was designed to provide the empirical evidence about income smoothing at on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and eximine five variables which were hypothesized influence income smoothing practices, they are company size, profitability, dividend payout ratio, Operating Leverage and Winner /Losser Stock. Eckel index was used to identify smoother and non smoother companies. Statistical analysis were used to examine hypothesies is logistic regression. Results of Eckel Index computation show that income smoothing was applies by manufaktur companies in Indonesia. In addition, result of analysis on the five variables which were hypothesized to influence the income smoothing show that Profitability was influence income smoothing practices. In addition, company size, Dividend Payout Ratio, Operating Leverage and Winner/Losser Stock were influence income smoothing practices.
