Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and analyze empirically the influence of tangibility, sales growth, firm size, profitability, business risk, dividend and degree operating leverage toward financial structure. Sample of this research is food and beverages companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2003-2012. The purposive sampling is used as sampling technique. This result of this research shows that tangibility, sales growth, firm size, profitability, business risk, dividend and degree operating leverage do not influence the financial structure.

Abstract

Every engagement comes from the agreement and the law. According to article 1243 of the Civil Code any reimbursement of expenses, losses, and interest on the non-fulfillment of an engagement, then shall be obligated, if the debtor, having been declared inattentive to his engagement, remained negligent, or if something to be given or made, within the time limit that has been passed. According to article 1365 of the Civil Code that any act of unlawful conduct, which carries harm to another party, shall be for that person who is guilty of damages. There is a clear distinction between default and unlawful acts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the calculation, payment, reporting and recording of Value Added Tax (VAT) by CV.SM in the year 2013 based on Value Added Tax (VAT) law number 42/ 2009 This research used descriptive analysis method to analyze and compare the data obtained from the company with the taxation rules. The secondary data collected are the VAT invoices 2013, monthly VAT returns, tax payment slips, annual tax return and tax collection letter. The result shows that CV. SM has done the calculation, payment and reporting Value Added Tax (VAT) in compliance with VAT regulations.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of the investment opportunity set, financing company, profitability, cash, and market to book value to dividend payment policy in companies listed Stock Exchange Securities Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the investment opportunity, financing company, profitability, cash, and market to book value to dividend payment policy in companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Securities Indonesia in 2008-2014. The population of about 15 food and beverage companies list in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2008-2014. This research used purposive sampling. The results show that investment opportunity and profitability have an effect on dividend payment policy. While the financial company, cash, and market to book value does not affect the dividend payment policy.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and analyze empirically the influence of debt to equity ratio, debt ratio, long term debt, long term debt to equity ratio, and liquidity on profitability. The object of this research is pharmaceutical companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2002-2014. The purposive sampling is used as sampling technique, where 8 companies met the criteria and where analyzed using Eviews8 panel data regressions with random effect model to test the hypothesis. The result of this research shows that debt to equity ratio, debt ratio, long term debt, long term debt to equity ratio, and liquidity influence the profitability.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide empirical evidence of the affect of firm debt, firms size, firm performance, board of directors’ characteristics, managerial ownership, ownership structure, external audit quality, dividend policy and leverage ratio on earnings management. Earnings management was measure by discretionary accruals use Modified Jones Method. The population of this research are companies in the manufacturing sector which were listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2011 to 2014. The research data were collected from manufacturing companies financial statement for the period of 2011 to 2014. Based on purposive sampling method, there are 38 samples. The reseacrh hypotesis were tested using multiple regression analysis. The results of this research show that firm debt, dividen policy and leverage have significant relationships with earnings management. Meanwhile other independent variables such as firm size, firm performance, board of directors’ characteristics, managerial ownership, ownership structure, and external audit quality have no significant relationship with earnings management.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get an empirical evidence factors that influence profitability. Independent variables used in this research are fixed assets ratio, debt ratio, financial leverage ratio, sales to current assets ratio, sales to equity ratio, gross margin return on inventory ratio, expenses revenue ratio, net income, and current ratio. The population of this research are all non-financial companies except services sectors listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from the period of 2009 to 2013. Sample selection procedure carried out by using purposive sampling method with a total sample 66 non-financial companies except services sectors. Data are analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The empirical result indicates that fixed assets ratio, debt ratio, financial leverage ratio, sales to equity ratio, gross margin return on inventory ratio, expenses revenue ratio, and net income have influence toward profitability. Other independent variables such as sales to current assets ratio and current ratio do not have influence toward profitability.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of Transformational Leadership Style, Communication and Financial Compensation towards Employee’s Performance. Data used in this research were collected from 197 employees which selected by Purposive Sampling. Samples were selected based on the criteria. In this research, researcher used Simple Regression Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis to analyze the data. The Results of this research, by partially showed that each Independent Variables such as Transformational Leadership Style, Communication and Financial Compensation are influence toward Employees Performance.

Abstract

Stock returns are very important and become the main reason or objective for investors in investing. This study studies the effect of market capitalization and financial ratios on corporate stock returns. The independent variables used in this study are market capitalization to symbolize a company's market value and financial ratios such as earnings per share, debt to equity, return on assets, and current ratio. While the dependent variable is stock returns. The objects used in this study are property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2012-2017 period. The samples used in this study were collected using non-probability methods with purposive sampling techniques. Researchers use multiple regression models to examine the effect of independent variables that affect stock returns. The results showed that market capitalization had a positive effect on stock returns. While earnings per share, debt to equity, return on assets, and current ratio have no effect on stock returns

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze empirically the influence of average tax rate, size, growth, fixed asset ratio, financial leverage, and working capital toward profitability. The object of this research is food and beverage companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2004-2014. The purposive sampling is used as sampling technique, in which only 6 companies meet the sampling criteria, resulting 66 data obsevations used in this research. Data were analyzed using Eviews8 panel data regression with fixed effect model to test the hyphotesis. The results shows that financial leverage and working capital have influence to profitability. In the other hand, average tax rate, size, growth, and fixed asset ratio have no influence to profitability. Overall, the independent variables influence financial leverage simultaneously.
