Abstract

Penelitian tentang spesies gastropoda yang terdapat pada kawasan wisata tereksploitasi di Padang Serai kampung Melayu pulau Baai kota Bengkulu telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret – Juni 2020 bertujuan untuk mengetahui spesies gastropoda apa saja yang terdapat pada kawasan wisata tereksploitasi di Padang Serai kampung Melayu pulau Baai kota Bengkulu. Penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dimana pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode menjelajah dengan menentukan 3 stasiun pengamatan, stasiun 1 bersubstrat berbatu dan berlumpur, stasiun 2 berlumpur dan berpasir, dan stasiun 3 bersubstrat berbatu ,berlumpur, dan berpasir. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan observasi atau pengamatan langsung terhadap spesies yang diamati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gastropoda yang ditemukan terdiri dari 9 Ordo, 14 familia, 16 Genus, dan 16 Spesies yaitu Patelloida striata, Cellana erosa, Trochus henleyanus, Trochus maculatus, Umbonium costatum, Nerita picea, Tectarius coronatus, Cypraea annulus, Conus quercinus, Natica stellate, Bursa bufonia, Murex trapa, Nassarius arcularius, Hastula hectica, Achatina fulica, dan Architectonica maxima. Stasiun 1 keberadaan gastropoda mulai terancam sedangkan stasiun 2 keberadaan gastropoda cukup baik dan stasiun 3 keberadaan gastropoda baik masih banyak spesies yang ditemukan di lokasi tersebut. Kata Kunci: Gastropoda, Metode Purposive Sampling, Observasi dan Padang SeraiResearch on gastropod species found in exploited tourism areas in Padang Serai, the Malay village of Baai island, Bengkulu city, was carried out in March - June 2020 aimed to find out what gastropod species found in the exploited tourist area in Padang Serai, the Malay village, Baai island, Bengkulu city, Bengkulu. The study used a purposive sampling method, where sampling was carried out by exploring methods by determining 3 observation stations, station 1 with rocky and muddy substrates, station 2 muddy and sandy, and station 3 with rocky, muddy, and sandy substrates. Data collected by making observations or direct observation of the species being observed. The results showed that Gastropods found consisted of 9 orders, 14 families, 16 genera, and 16 species, namely Patelloida striata, Cellana erosa, Trochus henleyanus, Trochus maculatus, Umbonium costatum, Nerita picea, Tectarius coronatus, Cypraea annulus, Conus quercinus, Natica, Natica stellate, Bursa bufonia, Murex trapa, Nassarius arcularius, Hastula hectica, Achatina fulica, and Architectonica maxima. Abstract

Microorganisms need energy sources that are needed from food ingredients. The aim is to utilize the utilization of bacteria in making yoghurt and Moringa extract. The research method used is Collection of Research Data from home. Yoghurt is a product of milk fermentation using Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophillus.The fermentation process in yoghurt has an important role in the formation of lactid acid. Lactobacillus plays a role in the formation of yoghurt, while Streptococcus thermopillus is prepared at the time the yoghurt tastes. Moringa leaf extract also contains yoghurt protein levels this is because Moringa contains high protein. The presentage of the addition of Moringa leat extract is known to make the pH of yoghurt increase. This is caused by Moringa leaf extract is having a pH ranging from 5,8-6,0. The precentage addition of Moringa leaf extract is known to make calcium yoghurt levels increase. The strength of the combination of Moringa and yoghurt both contain high calcium, protein, and minerals and are easily found in dairy preparations containing vegetables. The addition of Moringa leaf extract will affect the aroma, taste, color, texture, and nutritional content of yoghurt products. Keywords : Yoghurt, Moringa leaves, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophillus.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian yang mengkaji struktur morfologi tumbuhan rawa lebak di Kelurahan Sei Selayur Kecamatan Kalidoni Sumatera Selatan telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Juni 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui tipe-tipe morfologi tanaman rawa lebak di Kelurahan Sei Selayur Kecamatan Kalidoni Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menjelajahi langsung ke 4  stasiun yang ditentukan secara purposive, berdasarkan keberadaan rawa lebak. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap karakteristik akar, daun, batang, bunga dan buah serta organ modifikasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 20 spesies tumbuhan rawa. Tumbuhan yang ditemukan diamati struktur morfologinya meliputi akar, daun, batang, buah, bungadan organ modifikasinya. Akar serabut, dan akar tunggang. Daun tunggal, dan daun majemuk. Ujung daun runcing, meruncing, tumpul membulat. Pangkal daun runcing, meruncing, tumpul, dan membulat. Pangkal daun runcing, meruncing, tumpul, membulat, romping/rata, dan berlekuk. Tepi daun rata dan berlekuk. Daging daun tipis lunak, kaku, dan berdaging. Semua daun berwarna hijau. Tata letak daun adalah Folia sparsa, Folia opposita. Morfologi batang (caulis) yang dimiliki tumbuhan rawa adalah batang basah (herbaceus), batang rumput (calmus), batang mendong (calamus) batang berkayu (lignosus), batang cakram dan batang semu. Bunga majemuk berbatas berbentuk bulir, tongkol, malai rata, cawan, dan paying. Buah sejati jenis buah buni, buah sejati tunggal,  kering, dan buah sejati kotak. Modifikasi tumbuhan yang ditemukan ada 3 jenis, yaitu umbi batang, gelembung dan sulur dahan. Kata kunci : rawa, morfologi akar, batang, daun, bunga, buah/biji, modifikasi.

Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica chenensis L.) is a type of vegetable that belongs to the Brassicaceae family and is a short-lived plant. This research was conducted in April-May 2019. This study used a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the administration of old coconut water on the growth of pakcoy mustard plants and to find out at what dosage of coconut water can give the best results on mustard cabbage plants. The results showed that in plant height the lowest value was obtained in the treatment of P0 4.0 cm and the highest value in the treatment of P5 with a value of 4.71 cm. In the number of leaves obtained the lowest value in the P0 4.25 treatment strands and the highest value in the P5 treatment 4.62 strands. In the wet weight, the lowest value was obtained in the treatment of P0 0.15 grams and the highest value in the treatment of P5 0.18 grams. At the dry weight obtained the lowest value at P0 0.0625 gram treatment and the highest value at P5 0.0085 gram treatment.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)  terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan  pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2020 di Desa Gedung Agung, Kecamatan Kota Agung, Kabupaten Lahat, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Dosis yang digunakan  adalah P0 (tanpa msg/ kontrol), P1(2 gram), P2 (4 gram), P3 (6 gram), P4 (8 gram). Parameter yang diamati meliputi diameter batang (cm), jumlah daun (helai), tinggi batang (cm), dan berat basah (gram). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa monosodium glutamate berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan diameter batang, jumlah daun, serta tinggi batang dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan berat basah  tanaman cabai rawit.  Konsentrasi MSG  sebanyak 2 gram memberikan hasil tertinggi  sebesar 0.8 cm untuk pertumbuhan diameter batang.  Jumlah daun tertinggi diperoleh sebanyak  14 helai daun pada perlakuan konsentrasi sebesar  2 gram MSG.  Konsentrasi MSG  sebanyak 8 gram memberikan hasil  tertinggi terhadap tinggi tanaman sebesar 35 cm.  Pada pertumbuhan berat basah,  nilai tertinggi didapatkan sebesar 2.2 gram pada penambahan MSG sebanyak 6 gram.Kata Kunci : monosodium glutamate (MSG), cabai rawit (Capsicum Frutescens L.), Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL).
