Abstract

Gold sales should indeed be done by using a method that is easy to understand, namely to facilitate buyers and traders in conducting mortgage and predict the rise and fall of gold prices. To determine the gold price prediction using the Single Moving Avatar method, this method has a very wide application, although simple, because this method is only developing methods of the average. Some people have. Hopefully this system can help the community. Here the author provides solutions to facilitate pawnshop employees in conducting gold auctions. Single moving avarage is a method used to build a knowledge-based system. The source of knowledge of the system is obtained by collecting gold sales data. Therefore there are many problems in determining the price range and predicting the price of gold. The first step in solving a problem is by first identifying the scope of the problem to be solved, this also applies to any Artificial Intelligence (AI) programming.

Abstract

In the process of work experienced, especially the process of selling heat received during the processing. If the cooling process is carried out slowly, it will be possible to reach each type of micro balanced according to the chemical composition and temperature of the steel. In the manufacturing process, the required chemical composition is obtained when steel is in a liquid phase at high temperatures. During the cooling process of the melting temperature, steel begins to turn into a solid phase at a temperature of 13,500 C, in this phase there is a change in micro-structure. Normalization is the process of heating the metal until it reaches the austenite phase which is then desired slowly in AC media. The cooling results are perlite and ferrite but the results are much smoother than annelling. The voltage results after the tempering process showed the highest value at 200 oC is 1482, 311 N / mm2 and the lowest value at 400 oC was 1104, 75 N / mm2.

Abstract

The power generated in the water turbine (Pelton turbine) varies depending on the flow of water entering the turbine. The research was conducted in the mechanical engineering laboratory of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universitas Harapan Medan. The experimental method is the method used in this study. By varying the 2 nozzles, the flow of water (Q) at 300 m3 / s and 375m3 / s, and at a bucket slope of -8o and 8o.The results obtained are: At -8o bucket slope the maximum turbine output power produced is 340 watts, and the minimum turbine output power is 250 watts. In the 8o tilt bucket, the maximum turbine output power generated is 460 watts, and the minimum turbine output power is 340 watts. The greatest efficiency is found in the maximum power of the turbine, which is 460 watts with an efficiency of 16%, which is found in the 8o tilt bucket.

Abstract

XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of red and white cement. PCC cement packaging uses the main machine, namely the Rotary Packer machine, the packaging depends on consumer demand. If consumer demand continues to increase, the packaging process will take place continuously without stopping, and on the contrary, if consumer demand decreases slightly, the packaging process will also take place less. The high downtime of the Packer 1 machine causes production targets to be achieved, delays in the distribution process, and non-productive activities for employees. Based on these problems, the calculation of the effectiveness value on the Packer 1 machine using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. Which aims to determine the value of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) of the Packer 1 machine, to determine the comparison of the OEE value of the Packer 1 machine with international OEE values, and to determine the priority factors for repair and the root causes of problems and solutions. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the Packer 1 machine OEE value is 16.98% which is obtained from the Availability Ratio value of 49.48%, the Performance Efficiency Ratio of 30.04 and the Rate of Quality product of 100%.

Abstract

To produce according to production targets, of course supported by machines and equipment at every stage of the process and must be operated effectively and efficiently. operating machinery and equipment effectively and efficiently requires a good machine maintenance system. The research method used is Overall Equipment Effectiveness. After conducting the research, the average value of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness of the wafer is 34.00%. This result is still far from the world class standard of 85%. It is known that the biggest losses that cause the low OEE value are reduced speed losses by 143.3% and defect losses by 9.68% of the total losses. What causes low losses consists of factors such as machines, humans, environment, and methods. . To reduce these losses, the company should provide skills training and knowledge to operators about signs of damage to the equipment. In addition, operators are given additional work in the form of equipment maintenance that is often used at work so that maintenance work can be more focused. Then the company must pay more attention to operator comfort in working so that fatigue can be reduced and operator productivity increases and increases operator awareness of the equipment they use.

Abstract

The research carried out is the analysis of raw material inventory control using the economic order quantity (EOQ) method and the Min-Max method. The EOQ method is a method of reducing production costs to a minimum of raw material supplies. Meanwhile, controlling raw materials using the Min-Max method serves to avoid shortages of raw material inventory that result in losses and determine reorder points. Research and the results of calculations carried out when using the EOQ method in the procurement of raw materials will get cost savings. Where the results of the analysis of the total cost of inventory. (TIC) raw materials for wheat flour for 3 consecutive years (2017-2019) based on the EOQ method experienced savings of up to IDR 4,404,510, analysis of total cost of supplies (TIC) of raw sugar for 3 consecutive years (2017 -2019) based on the EOQ method, experiencing savings of up to Rp. 2,566,065, analysis of the total cost of inventory (TIC) of butter raw materials for 3 consecutive years (2017-2019) is based on the EOQ method experiencing savings of up to Rp. 486,426, while the results Calculation of raw material inventory is done when using the Min-Max method. Wheat flour raw material inventory for 3 consecutive years (2017-2019) min stock 4,629.65 kg and max stock 313,844.64 kg, granulated sugar raw material inventory for 3 consecutive years (2017-2019) min stock 1,250 kg and max stock 2,378.6 kg, and butter raw material stock for 3 consecutive years (2017-2019 min stock 500 kg and max stock 954.64 kg. The total cost of raw material inventory calculated according to EOQ and Min-Max less (economical / economical) than that issued by the company.
