Abstract

Background The jurnal discusse stray losses are generated by eddy current losses in the single phase transformer construction parts, such as Main tank, cover,core clamp and flitch plate. Stray losses can’t measurement direct and only calculated. Aim This study is to accurate calculated stray losses are generated in the single phase transformer construction parts in order to get more accurate calculated compared with measured and to know calculation versus measurement and versus simulation. Method This study using 3D Finite Element Metode with basis software ANSYS in the single phase transformer construction parts Result The stray losses in the single phase transformer construction parts, so that it hasn’t a simple stray losses divided by 3 compared to three phase transformers with same power and voltage. Conclusion Base on this study the total stray losses around 30%-37% from Load Losses and impove approxi-mately 9% compared between existing calculation and this simulation study versus measurement.

Abstract

Background The problem faced is overcoming the Overheating of the Screw Air Compressor, the air circulation in the compressor chamber is not good, the Oil has passed the Normal Working Hours, the Oil Separator is clogged, the heat dissipation is blocked in the Coller Unit, the oil filter is clogged with dirt, the Distribution Mechanism in the Oil Filter Housing The unit does not work. Aim of overcoming the overheating that occurs in the compressor which results in a decrease in air pressure on the engine in the production section, knowing the cause of the damage or downtime. Method used is observation of the compressor operation, and checking the compressor engine components. Results and Discussion Overheating on the compressor engine will have an impact on the performance of the engine itself and the air produced. Overheating in the compressor engine is caused by several things including poor air circulation, so the air gets hot and the engine performance decreases. Conclusion minimize damage caused by overheating is to carry out maintenance of the water cooler and oil coller

Abstract

Background Hydron extrude machines in line 4 have a high enough total downtime, until the October 2019 period with a total of 264, 33 hours. Damage that often occurs in extrude machines from each Extrude Hydron engine subsystem, namely vacuum filter, vacuum hose and digital vacuum indicator. Aim to focus on steps to reduce damage. And from maintenance ensures the level of reliability and readiness while minimizing maintenance costs. Method on the extrude hydron machine is to use visual inspection and quantitative presentation. Results and Discussion Damage that occurs in vacuum filter components that often need to be caused by dust contamination, Automatic sensors (Limit Switch Piston, Pneumatic Limit Switch Cylinderr) are contaminated with dust particles. In repairing the damage that occurs is based on field conditions, so that the repair downtime is quite long due to the availability of spare parts and technical personnel. Conclusion in minimizing damage to extrude hydron machines using preventive maintenance

Abstract

Background Good packaging is expected to be able to attract the tastes of consumers, so that it can be used as a promotional tool that is also expected to boost sales volume. Aim The purpose of this design is to look for good packaging results and increase production results. Method Data taken using the VID2221 method and the VDI2225 method. Result Making this machine is to create a packaging machine that is simple and inexpensive to be used by snack entrepreneurs in the home industry, as well as large industries. Conclusion one work or processing one package, it takes 0.679 seconds, so in one minute it can produce a maximum of 88 packages and the compressor power used to run the machine so that it can run with continue is using a 4.5 Pk compressor.

Abstract

Background Improvement of river waste filtering technology currently still has many problems and constraints, ranging from the large number of river waste filtering tools that still require large amounts of power, up to large dimensions. Aim Then it is necessary to do a development by analyzing some form of filter to get the form of river waste filter in accordance with the character of the river. Method of planning and clarifying the tasks designing the product concept, designing the product form (embodiment design). Results and Discussion this research is a 4-arm ferris wheel-shaped trash filter made of aluminum plate which rotates clockwise, each arm has a capacity of 7 kg / round and the filter power requirement is 151.62 Watt. Conclusion with a capacity of 7 kg / round with a filter power requirement of 151.62 Watts to clean waste.
