Abstract

Pengembangan usaha perikanan budidaya sering terkendala karena kerusakan lingkungan dan konflik kepentingan. Upaya mengantisipasi dampak negatif yang mungkin ditimbulkan dan sekaligus untuk meningkatkan dampak positif kegiatan budidaya perikanan, maka perlu diterapkan prinsip-prinsip dasar perikanan budidaya bertanggung jawab. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian aspek-aspek pengelolaan perikanan budidaya tambak ikan Bandeng berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip EAA (Ecosystem Approach to Aquaculture), serta menentukan status pengelolaan perikanan budidaya tambak ikan Bandeng melalui prinsipprinsip EAA. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Sinjai pada bulan Januari-Maret 2016. Analisis data mengunakan metode Indeks Komposit dalam penilaian indikator EAA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status pengelolaan perikanan budidaya dengan pendekatan ekosistem pada usaha budidaya tambak ikan Bandeng di Kabupaten Sinjai, memiliki status cukup baik yang diperlihatkan pada flag model berwarna hijau muda dengan nilai agregat 2,38. Status pengelolaan baik pada domain upaya pengelolaan lingkungan serta tata kelola dan kelembagaan. Status cukup baik pada domain daya dukung lingkungan dan budidaya berkelanjutan. Sedangkan status yang masih kurang menerapkan EAA adalah domain sosial dan ekonomi. Rekomendasi kebijakan dalam rangka penerapan pengelolan perikanan budidaya dengan pendekatan ekosistem atau terkait EAA terdiri dari tiga strategi, yaitu: pembuatan program atau peraturan dan pengawasan pelaksana; peningkatan implementasi program dan pengawasan peraturan; serta mempertahankan program atau peraturan yang sudah berjalan baik.

Abstract

Efforts to anticipate the challenges and threats posed from aquaculture activities, it is necessary the application of the basic principles of responsible aquaculture. For example by applying environmental approach in the development of aquaculture. The purpose of this study is overview of the application of the principles of Ecosystem Approach to Aquaculture (EAA) in cultivation and analyze the development strategy of cultivating fish. Implemented in January to March 2016. Technical analysis is conducted using the method of assessment indicators composite index in the EAA. Simple approach to engineering composites Flag Modeling multi-criteria analysis. Research shows that the institutional dimension of good in implementing the EAA, the economic dimension enough in implementing the EAA, and the dimensions of ecology, sustainability, and social activities less apply EAA.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of instruction towards income and fishers production increase. Also to analyze the variables which influenced by the increase of the income and fishers production in Sinjai District. This research was conducted in Sinjai District for 3 months long from December 2015 to February 2016. This study was designed using a combination of quantitative method with editing proccess and multiple linear regression analysis with tables. The result showed that instruction does effecting the increase of income and fishers production, and also effecting the education variable, farmer experience, connection with instructor, the amount of family burden, land area, and farming cost with positive contribution. The variable of farmers’ life span showed a negative contribution towards income and production which indicated that most of farmers categorized as unproductive labours.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the capacity of assimilation of water quality parameters in the Lake Sentani and identify appropriate management model in the carrying capacity of Lake Sentani. The analysis showed that a key element in the management of Lake Sentani initiated by law enforcement, Coordination area, Strengthening relationships between stakeholders, compromise the level of need and Development OBM, elements other needs are also a key element in the management of Lake Sentani is Equation vision, mission and goals against environmental improvement, and Spatial Planning, the decline in the fraction of the population increases have also impacted on the decrease in the amount of waste that KJA waste, waste of pigs, cattle waste, waste of human feces, the amount of waste, and decrease erosion effect on residential and agricultural erosion. From the results of this study concluded that, for the parameter TDS assimilation capacity of 12184.94 tons / month, BOD of 11.31973 ton / month, COD is 122.4184 tons / month, PO4 of 1.401685 tons / month, NO3 by 185,2202729 tons / month, Fe at 0.226383192 ton / month, Cl amounted 15286.18799 ton / month, SO4 amounted to 1276.118 tons / month, Zn amounted to 0.169118 tons / month, Cu of -0.06125 ton / month, Cr at 0.769953052 ton / month, and NH3 at 8.620493359 ton / month. Parameter Cu, PO4, Zn and Fe is above the value of assimilation capacity, this shows the carrying capacity of Lake Sentani have declined. Policy measures total reduction of pollutant sources is through setting migration of people coming to live in the vicinity of Jayapura and Sentani Lake, approaches to sources, law enforcement, and agricultural intensification.

Abstract

The distribution pattern of Skipjack in PPI/TPI Lappa through three patterns disribusi namely: Fisherman (producer) - Retailers - small traders – top consumers Fisherman (producer) - small traders – top consumer Fisherman (producer) - wholesaler – consumer. Amount of margin, profit and marketing efficiency of marketing agencies skipjack in TPI Lappa sequential as follows: Fishermen with margin Rp. 33,750/Kg, advantages Rp. 33,750/Kg and 0.53% efficiency, Small Traders with a margin of Rp. 4,250/Kg, a profit of Rp. 3,549/Kg and efficiency of 1.87% with a margin Wholesalers Rp. 10,000/kg, a profit of Rp. 9,249/Kg and 1.72% Efficiency Retailers with a margin of Rp3,750/Kg, profit Rp.3,379/Kg and efficiency of 0.99%. The need to conduct further research on the patterns of distribution marketing for kinds of fish landed in PPI Lappa so that the distribution pattern of fish landed marketing can be known thoroughly kinds of fish landed in PPI Lappa.
