Abstract

The purpose of this study is the implementation of supervision in improving teacher performance. Fun and meaningful learning is formed through the teacher's commitment in developing his performance. A teacher must always improve his professional abilities, knowledge, attitudes and skills continuously according to the development of science and technology including the new paradigm of education. The reality in the field of teachers in Jogoroto Jombang State Elementary School has low performance and insight. This is due to (1) low awareness of teachers to learn, (2) lack of opportunities for teachers to participate in training, both regionally and nationally, (3) the lack of effective PKG, (4) educational supervision aimed at improving the learning process tends to focus on administrative aspects. For the improvement of these conditions through collaborative educational supervision that is carried out periodically. This study uses action research with the number of classroom teacher subjects in SDN Jogoroto Jombang as many as 8 teachers. The research time is in the 1st semester of the 2019-2020 study year. Data collection uses observation and documentation. The results showed that the steps taken in collaborative supervision were as planned and the results were good.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fractions in class IIIA SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya by using realia media. This research was conducted at SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya in the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic year for two months. The research subjects were 29 students of class IIIA SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya. The data collection method uses tests and observations. The conclusion of the results of this study is that using realia media can improve learning outcomes in mathematics subjects with fractions for class IIIA students at SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya. This can be proven from the results of observations which show that in the first cycle the percentage of student learning completeness is 72%, then it increases in the second cycle to 100%. The average score of students in the first cycle was 77.76 and increased to 88.79 in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of teachers' ability in compiling learning outcomes test questions during the pandemic through Principal Supervision activities with online group discussions techniques at the Jombang Islamic Boarding School State Elementary School in the odd semester of the 2020-2021 school year. This is based on the results of supervision carried out by researchers as school principals on the ability of teachers at SDN Pesantren, Tembelang District, Kab. Jombang, pointed out that the frequency of teachers in compiling questions during the pandemic was still guided by the existing LKS. This means that the teachers arrange the questions by taking the whole, or part of the questions in the LKS used. In addition, teachers at this school also use tests that have existed in previous years and are then adjusted to the teaching materials. This research was carried out at SDN Pesantren Jombang in the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year for three months, namely July, August, September 2020 with the research subject of 8 class teachers and subject teachers. Methods of data collection using the method of documentation and observation. The conclusion of the results of this study is that the Principal's Supervision activities with online group discussion techniques can improve the ability of teachers in compiling learning outcomes test questions during the pandemic at the Pesantren State Elementary School, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency in the odd semester of the 2020-2021 school year.

Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to describe the impact of online learning on the learning motivation of fifth graders at SDN Wonoplintahan II Sidoarjo, (2) to describe the learning process of fifth graders at SDN Wonoplintahan II Sidoarjo, (3) to describe the learning motivation of fifth graders. at SDN Wonoplintahan II Sidoarjo, (4) to describe the obstacles during the learning process at SDN Wonoplintahan II Sidoarjo. The method used in this research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Sources of data and research data came from fifth grade teachers and fifth grade students at SDN Wonoplintahan II Sidoarjo. The data collection technique used is interview. The results showed that the learning process used was online learning via Zoom, Google Classroom and Whatsaap were less able to motivate student learning because they did not understand the material presented by the teacher. In addition, there is also a lack of assistance when they study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of the quality of English learning in Expression of Congratulations material through the use of drill and practice learning models for class IX B semester 1 students at SMPN 2 Bangsalsari Jember for the 2018-2019 school year. The research design used is classroom action research in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collection method uses the method of observing student activities and learning outcomes tests. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the drill and practice learning model can improve the quality of English learning for Expression of Congratulations for class IX B students at SMPN 2 Bangsalsari Jember in the 2018-2019 semester 1 academic year. The indicator is an increase in student activity and learning outcomes. Student activity increased from the first cycle with a percentage of 69.7% with a good category increasing to 87% with a very good category, while student learning outcomes increased from the first cycle the average value of 74.35 with a percentage of completeness of 73.91% increased in cycle II to 84.57 with a percentage of completeness of 95.65%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in science learning outcomes of Substance Pressure material in online guided discovery learning through google meet through the use of student worksheets (LKS) on google form in class VIII B students of SMP Negeri 2 Bangsalsari Jember in the 2020-2021 academic year. semester 2. The research design used was classroom action research in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. Methods of data collection using the method of test, observation and documentation. The conclusion of this study is that the increase in science learning outcomes of Substance Pressure material in online guided discovery learning through google meet through the use of Student Worksheets (LKS) on google form in class VIII B students of SMP Negeri 2 Bangsalsari Jember in the 2020-2021 semester 2 academic year amounted to 27.39 with a percentage of 39.13%. The increase in student evaluation results from before the study the average value of students was 60.00 with the percentage of completeness 56.52% increased in the first cycle the average value of students was 74.57 with the percentage of completeness 73.91% and in the second cycle the average value the average student becomes 87.39 with a percentage of completeness of 95.65%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out objectively the improvement of ICT learning achievement in Microsoft Office Word Menu and Icon Materials through the Application of Peer Tutor Methods in Class VIII E Semester 1 Students in the 2017/2018 Academic Year at SMP Negeri 2 Panggul Trenggalek. This research is a descriptive qualitative research type Classroom Action Research will be presented in the form of a cycle. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely (1) planning. (2) implementation or action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. This study uses one instrument, namely a test. The test instrument was used to collect achievement data. The results of this study in the first cycle have not reached classical completeness. There were 13 students who finished studying (50%). Completeness has not reached a minimum of 85%. Students who are smart but shy do not dare to appear to communicate their work so the research is continued to Cycle II. In cycle II it is good because it has reached completeness. There were 23 students who finished studying with a percentage of (88%). The mastery of classical learning has reached a minimum of 80%. Thus, it can be stated that the Tutor Model Cooperative Learning with the material of understanding Microsoft Office Word Menus and Icons takes place in an active, creative, effective, and fun way. Learning in Cycle II has been successful because minimum completeness can be achieved. The success of Cycle II was marked by the achievement of completeness of 88%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase students' understanding of the material presented, the teacher must be active in providing variations in learning, so that students do not become bored so that blocking of the material occurs. Students should have space to express their thoughts so that boredom does not occur at every meeting in learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with the type of Classroom Action Research which will be presented in the form of a cycle. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely (1) planning. (2) implementation or action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. The results showed that there was an increase in student motivation of (0.94) in cycle 1, from 2.56 to 3.5 in cycle 2. In increasing learning outcomes the number of students who were declared to meet the KKM standard in cycle 1 was 22 students (62 ,86%), and students who were declared to meet the KKM standard in cycle 2 were 31 students (88,57%). The percentage increase is 25.71% from cycle 1. So it can be concluded that the discussion method can improve the motivation and learning outcomes of class VIII-B students of UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Grogol on the material of Linear Equations of Two Variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in Exposition Text Material with Think Pair Share in students of class VII D Semester 1 at SMP Negeri 2 Panggul Trenggalek. This research is qualitative descriptive research the type of Class Action Research will be presented in the form of a cycle. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely (1) planning. (2) implementation or action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. The study used one instrument: a test. Test instruments are used to collect achievement data. The results of this study in cycle I that students who completed learning as much as 47.82%. The completion has not reached at least 80%. Learners who follow learning with good results as many as 9 people (27.27%). Learning achievement of learners in cycle I has not achieved classical completion. Students who completed learning as much as 47.82%. The completion has not reached at least 80%. Learners who follow learning with good results as many as 9 people (27.27%). In cycle II this is good because it has reached completion. Students who completed learning as many as 20 people with a percentage of (87%). The completion of classical learning has reached a minimum of 80%. Learners who have minimal results are good in learning as many as 20 people (87%). Thus it can be stated that cooperative learning model Think Pair Share with Material Exposition material takes place actively, creatively, effectively, and pleasantly. Learning in Cycle II has been successful because minimal completion can be achieved. The success of Cycle II is characterized by a complete completion of 87%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain objective answers about improving learning achievement in Art and Culture material for Drawing Flora, Fauna, and Nature through a contextual learning model for class VII C students in Semester 1 of the 2019/2020 academic year at SMP Negeri 2 Panggul. This research is a descriptive qualitative research type Classroom Action Research will be presented in the form of a cycle. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely (1) planning. (2) implementation or action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. This study uses one instrument, namely a test. The test instrument was used to collect achievement data. The results of the first cycle test and the second cycle test results on the Drawing Flora, Fauna, and Nature materials that have been analyzed and can be compared. In the first cycle of learning, the test results are still low when compared to the results of the second cycle of tests. This is evidenced by the results of the first cycle test, the total score is 2220 with an average score of 74 and the percentage of completeness is 73%, while the second cycle test results total 2410 with an average value of 80.33 and a percentage of completeness 90%. Thus it can be said that the results of the second cycle of research have increased from the results of the first cycle of research.
