Abstract

Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, is located in the border area of the Republic of Timor Leste and geographically has dry land that can be a threat of drought, causing low agricultural productivity and food scarcity. Food scarcity may lead to food vulnerability and disrupts national defense. The research aims to find out how far food estate as a state land strategy can solve the problem of food vulnerability in society. This research approach uses qualitative methods with a case study type. Data are collected through FGD, interviews, observation, and documentation. The research found that the food estate program in Belu Regency did not run well and was unable to solve food problems in Belu Regency. There are several reasons behind this result, such as technical factors of unpreparedness of production land and non-technical factors of socio-cultural transformation of society. However, from the national defense perspective, Food Estate can influence the security of the people in the RI-Timor Leste border region. In conclusion, the success of the Food Estate program in Belu Regency is highly dependent on collaboration between the local government and the community. It is because the national government has prepared all the supporting infrastructure. Several non-technical issues must be resolved through professional and ongoing assistance and training. Thus, the goal of self-sufficiency by 2024 can be reached.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the concept of political marketing applied by village head candidates in village head elections. The location of this study is in the village of Marindal 1, Deli Serdang district. This paper uses a descriptive method in presenting data and conducting analysis. The results of this study found that village head candidates generally carried out the concept of political marketing, but the personality factor and the effectiveness of the political marketing concept became dominant in achieving a succession of wins in village head elections.

Abstract

Poverty is a condition or condition of the inability of individuals or groups of people to meet the necessities of life, both physical and economic conditions. In an effort to eradicate poverty, improve welfare and increase people's access to food, through a social assistance program called the BPNT Program. In the running of the Non-Cash Food Assistance program, of course, it raises various responses from the beneficiary community. This study measures response through 3 indicators, namely perception, attitude, and participation. This research is classified as a descriptive research type. The population in this study were pure beneficiaries of the BPNT program with a sample of 77 respondents. The data analysis technique uses a single table which is explained descriptively and statistical analysis of the Chi Suare test. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the BPNT Program in Pardamean Village, Siantar Marihat District, Pematangsiantar City received a positive response with a value of 0.55 through the overall results of the three variables namely perception, attitude and participation. The results of the Chi Square test show that there are differences in responses based on age level towards community participation, between education level and community understanding, and the number of dependents on understanding and attitudes of the BPNT recipient community. Meanwhile, the variable types of work, income, and housing status had no effect on differences in community responses. It is hoped that the BPNT program can continue and be further improved, both in terms of implementation and outreach, so that the community can experience more benefits and a better positive impact on the Beneficiary Families.

Abstract

Compong Village, which is located in Pitu Riase District, Sidenreng Regency, is one of the villages in Indonesia that has begun to develop waterfall tourism objects. This paper will analyze the development of waterfall tourism objects or ATP (Pattumba Waterfall) which began to be developed from 2018 to 2022 with research questions about the government's role and strategy in developing the Pattumba waterfall tourism sector and also to find out the factors that influence the development of the tourism sector. Pattumba waterfall. This paper uses a quantitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques used observation, literature review and questionnaires with data analysis using SPSS26. Determination of informants in this study using a purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the Government's role and strategy in developing the Pattumba Waterfall tourism sector in Compong Village, Pitu Riase District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency as measured through indicators of inspiration, facilitators, and intermediaries showed very good results with a percentage of 82.53%, and factors that influencing tourism development in Compong Village, Pitu Riase District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, namely, Tourist attractions, 55%, Accessibility, 78.6%, Infrastructure, 79.2%, Accommodation and Sapta Pesona, 83%. Based on these factors, it shows that the factors that most influence the development of Pattumba Waterfall are accommodation and Sapta Pesona with a percentage of 83%.

Abstract

The development of the quality of human resources will affect national development. The quality of human resources is represented through the quality of health, level of intelligence, emotional and spiritual maturity, and productivity is determined by the quality of children from an early age. In improving the quality of the next generation, the government implements several programs to improve the quality of children from an early age, one of which is carried out by the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection and Population Control and Family Planning (DP3A & P2KB). The program from DP3A & P2KB is BKB (Family Development). Toddlers) which is a policy formulation in the field of family planning aims to increase the knowledge and skills of parents or other family members in caring for, caring for and educating toddlers. In the toddler family development program there are seven aspects of child development parameters in the toddler family development program, namely, gross motor development, fine motor development, passive communication, passive communication, intelligence development, self-help abilities, social behavior. In the toddler family development program there are three activities, namely, counseling, playing APE, and recording the results of the child's growth and development into the child's development card. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the toddler family development program on beneficiary toddler parents in Rugemuk Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The main informants in this study were members of the toddler family development program, the key informants were the KB coordinator of the Pantai Labu District, as well as additional informants from the toddler family development program cadres. Data collection techniques were carried out by literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained in the field were analyzed qualitatively so that it was concluded that the toddler family development program for beneficiary toddler parents in Rugemuk Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency was effective using four indicators to measure effectiveness namely, program target accuracy, program socialization, program objectives and program monitoring.

Abstract

Decision making in financial budgetary on birocrat institution is very important. This study aims to determine the factors that can improve the decision making Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kendal in financial budgetary. The independent variables in this study are emotional intelligence and profesionalism and the dependent variable is decision making with inovatif behavior as a mediating variable. This study uses quantitative methods by using questionnaires to collect the required data. The sample in this study were 89 employees of Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kendal. The analysis used is a structural equation model (SEM) analysis using the SmartPLS analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that the emotional intelligence and profesionalism directly affect to decision making. Inovatif behavior also affects to decision making. Emotional intelligence affect to inovatif behavior but it is not affected by profesionalism. Inovatif behavior successs as a mediating variable to mediate the influence of emotional intelligence to decision making.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of environmental accounting and company size on profitability partially and simultaneously. The population in this study is the mining sub-sector companies as many as 42 companies with a sampling technique based on criteria using purposive sampling. The sample obtained based on the criteria of 15 mining sub-sector companies. This type of research is quantitative with a causal associative approach. The data analysis technique used is quantitative with descriptive statistics using SPSS v.25. The results of the study state that Environmental Accounting partially has a positive and significant effect on profitability and company size partially has a positive and significant effect on profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Camat's leadership in improving the performance of human resources at the Medan City sub- district office. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. With data collection techniques observation, interviews and documentation to retrieve data in the form of writing, behavior, events, and words. Informants in this study were the Head of Medan City as a key informant, employees as the main informant, and the community as additional informants. From the results of research conducted by researchers, it shows that the Camat at the Medan City District Office carries out his role as a leader, always empowers his staff or employees through collaboration, and involves his staff or employees in decision making. And also always provide direction and supervision to every employee in the Medan City District Office. By providing socialization to all employees in determining the priority of employee performance, direction and supervision are always carried out on their performance, but in this case not all fields that carry out their main duties and functions have not carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures given by the Camat

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out why Islam-based parties in Indonesia accommodate non-Muslim legislative candidates from ethnic minorities in the 2014 North Sumatra Provincial DPRD election. A qualitative research using a combination of case studies and ethnography is used as the research method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, literature studies and documentation studies. The findings show that there are three dominant factors that cause the National Awakening Party (PKB) and the National Mandate Party (PAN) to accommodate non-Muslim candidates from ethnic minorities, namely 1) the electoral system, 2) the party platform and 3) the availability of legislative candidates

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the leadership role of the Sitanggor Village Head, Muara sub-district in increasing community participation in village development. This research is used as information material and can provide useful input for the leadership of the Sitanggor Village Head, Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency. In conducting this research, the researcher used qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the village head must be able and try to build the village according to his vision and mission by involving all elements of the community. The village head must also be able to invite the community to jointly participate in building Sitanggor Village, and in making decisions the village head must implement a deliberation system. In Leadership, it is hoped that the village government and the community can establish good relations and cooperation, with the same goal, namely the success of village development which will have a good impact on improving community welfare. The village head as a leader must be able to carry out coordination and communication, because coordination is absolutely necessary in an organization, because the organization is the executor of the management function of a leader.
