Abstract

This study aimed to determine significant difference of science learning results between group of students who had been taught with CORE course assisted with visual media and group of students with conventional course. Fifth grade students of SD Gugus IV in Gianyar regency in academic year 2017/2018 were chosen as the object of this research.This research was quasi-experimental design and used post-test only control group design. Population of this research was 131 fifth grade students of SD Gugus IV in Gianyar regency in academic year 2017/2018. Researcher used random sampling technique in form of lottery to choose research sample. As the result, fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Samplangan and SD Negeri 3 Beng were chosen as the research sample. Data of learning science result were gathered using Objective Test and Essay. Gained data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and inferential statistic (t-test). Result shows tarithmetic is bigger than ttable (tarithmetic 5.447 > ttable 2.000). This shows that there is significant difference of science learning result between group of students who had been taught with CORE course assisted with visual media and group of students with conventional course. The result shows CORE course assisted with visual media gives influence towards fifth grade students science learning results of SD Gugus IV in Gianyar regency. Key words: CORE model, visual media, science learning result.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on several problems as follows. 1) Students' science learning achievements were still low. 2) Students still loved to play in lessons and they didn’t pay attention to the learning process. 3) The teacher tended to use the classical learning method in the school. 4) Teachers rarely use instructional media. This study aims to determine the effect of Teams Games Tournament model with the assistance of questions box towards the learning achievement of 5th grade students in MIN 2 Buleleng Buleleng sub-district in the academic year 2017/2018 in Natural Sciences subject. The population of this study is 5th garde in MIN 2 Singaraja Buleleng  Sub-District in academic year 2017/2018 in which the total number of students are 93. The sample of this research is the 5th grade B class at MIN 2 Buleleng which amounted to 32 students and 5th grade A class in MIN 2 Buleleng which amounted to 30 students. Data were collected by multiple choice test with 30 items of questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). Based on the results of analysis, obtained thit> ttab. This means that there is effect learning model of Team Games Tournament (TGT) in form of questions box on the 5th grade students science learning achievement in MIN 2 Buleleng Buleleng sub-district in the academic year 2017/2018. Keywords : learning achievement, natural science subject, TGT

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar Matematika antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Discovery Learning pada siswa kelas 4 SD Gugus Kanigoro Kecamatan Tingkir dan Gugus Imam Bonjol Kota Salatiga Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian ini yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Design.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 4 SD Gugus Kanigoro sejumlah 125 siswadan Gugus Imam Bonjol yang berjumlah 117 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas 4 SDN Sidorejo Kidul 02 yang berjumlah 28 orang dan siswa kelas 4 SDN Sidorejo Lor 04 yang berjumlah 40 orang. Metode  pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes yaitu dengan instrumen tes objektif (pilihan ganda). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik analisis statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery learning yaitu 70,93 dan skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based learning yaitu 73,87. . Berdasarkan hasil uji T-Test  dapat dilihat bahwa nilai asyimp. Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.016 lebih kecil dari nilai α =0.05  sehingga terima 𝐻0 dan tolak 𝐻1. Hasil uji tersebut memberikan kesimpulan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang signifikan pada siswa kelas 4 SD Gugus Kanigoro dan Gugus Imam Bonjol dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem based Learning dan Discovery Learning. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Matematika, Model Problem based Learning, Model Discovery Learning

Abstract

This study aims to improve the process and the results of learning content of science grade 4 students on the theme 8 Sub Theme 1 through the model of learning Problem Based Learning. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The study was conducted in two cycles with three meetings each cycle. The subjects of the study were 4th grade students of SDN Mangunsari 05. The data collection techniques used in this classroom action research were test, observation, and documentation. Result of validity test at cycle I of 45 problem there are 26 valid questions, in cycle II there are 24 valid questions. Reliability test in cycle I obtained Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.904 and on the second cycle obtained Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.878. The learning process on the initial condition of teacher action is 78,57% and student action equal to 71,42%. In the first cycle of teacher action in the learning process of the first meeting 82.14%, the second meeting amounted to 89.28%. Student action on first cycle of first meeting is 75% and second meeting is 89.28%. In cycle II the teacher's first meeting action is 100% and the second meeting is 100%. Student actions in the first meeting process of learning amounted to 92.85% and the second meeting 100%. The result of the research shows that there is an increase of learning outcome of IPA especially the theme of 8 sub themes 1. It is proved by the increasing of learning result. At the time of initial condition of 30% of students who reach the threshold. In the first cycle there was an increase to 80% that reached completeness. While in the second cycle there is an increase to 100% which reached completeness. The conclusion of this research is the application of PBL learning model to make students become more active and courageous in solving problems and increasing the result of studying the content of science.Keywords: PBL Model, Process, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the correlation between level of creative thinking ability with social knowledge competency of students of grade V in elementary school Gugus Kapten Kompyang Sujana in the lesson year 2017/2018. The type of this research was ex post facto. The method used in this research is descriptive method with correlation study type. Research populations were all students grade 5 in elementary school Gugus Kapten Kompyang Sujana academic period 2017/2018 which has population over 637 students. Sample was determined by proportional technique random sampling with the level of error 5% and the number of sample gained from the populations were 227 students. The data were obtained through the results of a creative thinking essay test which was answered by the respondents. The statistical analysis used in this research is hypothesis test using triserial correlation analysis. Based on the result of analysis then rptscount = 1,005. At a level of signification 5% with n = 227, then obtained rtable= 1,960. Because rcount= 1,005 >rtable= 1,960 it means that H0 that said there is no significant correlation between level of creative thinking ability with social knowledge competency of students of grade V in elementary school Gugus Kapten Kompyang Sujana in the lesson year 2017/2018 was accepted. The conclusion was there is no correlation between level of creative thinking ability with social knowledge competency of students of grade V elementary school Gugus Kapten Kompyang Sujana in the lesson year 2017/2018. Suggested to other researchers for the results of this study can be used as a reference to carry out further research using the test is a creative thinking essay test.Keywords: level of creative thinking ability, social knowledge competency, students of grade V elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar matematika kelas 4 SD Dabin 2 dan 3 kecamatan Godong-Grobogan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan Guided Discovery. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas 4 SD Dabin 2 yang berjumlah 55 dan Dabin 3 berjumlah 62. Dalam hasil analisa dua tahap, yaitu tahap awal menggunakan nilai pretest dan analisa tahap akhir menggunakan nilai postest. Tahap awal dan akhir dihitung menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji homogenitas koefisien regresi linear, dan uji ANCOVA. Berdasarkan uji ANCOVA TWO WAYS yang telah dilakukan terhadap nilai pretest dan posttest kelompok eksperimen 1 dan kelompok eksperimen 2 diperoleh hasil signifikansi/probabilitas 0,870 dan 0,395 atau > 0,05 maka H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan ketrampilan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar matematika yang signifikan dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan Guided Discovery  pada siswa kelas 4 SD Dabin 2 dan Dabin 3 kecamatan Godong-Grobogan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar muatan IPA siswa kelas 5 SDN Salatiga 10 melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan rubrik penilaian proses aktivitas guru dan siswa,serta tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan kondisi awal, hasil siklus I dan II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model PBL dapat: a) meningkatkan proses aktivitas guru,pada kondisi awal 46,66%, meningkat menjadi 76,47% pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 88,57% pada siklus II. b) meningkatkan proses aktivitas siswa, padakondisi awal 39,16%, meningkat menjadi 65,58% pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 85% pada siklus II. c) meningkatkan hasil belajar muatan IPA Tema 8 Subtema 1. Hasil belajar pada kondisi awal persentase pencapaian KKM sebesar 15% (5 siswa), pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 79% (26 siswa) dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 90% (30 siswa) dari jumlah keseluruhan 33 siswa.

Abstract

This study has a purpose to describe the steps of using Problem Based Learning model, in improving learning outcomes Subtheme Curtural Diversity in My Country. The research was conducted in SD Negeri Purwosari 01 Temanggung Regency with the subject of research is the fourth grader of SD Negeri Purwosari 01. The independent variable in this research is the learning model of Problem Based Learning, while the dependent variable, that is student learning outcomes. Data collection by observation and test. this study is designed to be implemented in two cycles. This study is designed to be implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and analysis and reflection. Data analysis techniques in this study are divided into two, the first is the analysis of quantitative data, is the value of student learning outcomes, and the second is the qualitative data, sentences that describe the results of observations on the implementation of learning. The results showed that the application of Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes. The analysis of learning result data shows that students' learning completeness is only 23.08%, increased to 46.15% in cycle I and in cycle II the learning completeness has reached 92.31%. Keyword : Problem Based Learning, Learning Result
