Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the environment and the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in the working area of ​​the Nogosari Public Health Center, Boyolali Regency. This research method uses an observational design with a cross sectional approach. The subjects of this study were housewives who had toddlers and had suffered from diarrhea with a population of 328 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between drinking water sources (p = 0.001), latrine ownership (p = 0.018), type of house floor (p = 0.001). 0.036) with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five and there is no relationship between the physical quality of clean water (p = 0.307) with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five

Abstract

The incidence of obesity in Indonesia is increasing every year. In 2013 there were 8.8% of children with obesity in Indonesia, and the incidence of obesity in West Sumatra was 7.7%. Obese children tend to have a poor quality of life. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the incidence of obesity and the quality of life of school-age children. This research is a descriptive analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted from February to July 2017. The samples in this study were all 4th and 5th grade students of SDN 30 Kubu Dalam Padang, totaling 110 respondents. Data collection using the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL) Generic Core questionnaire version 4.0 and observation sheets to determine the classification of Body Mass Index. The prevalence of obesity in school-age children in this study was 11.8%. The prevalence of children who have a good quality of life is 75 respondents (68.2%). Abstract

The incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the working area of ​​the Cepiring Health Center in 2008 was recorded as 91 cases with 2 deaths. The purpose of this study was to determine what health behaviors were associated with the occurrence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the working area of ​​the Cepiring Health Center. This type of research is an analytical survey research using a case-control approach. The instruments used in this study were 1) questionnaires, 2) data on patients with dengue fever at the Cepiring Health Center and DKK Kendal. Abstract

The purpose of this research was intended to identify the correlation between nursing services and patient satisfaction in Sumbersari Health Center Jember Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and the number of sample were 44 patients in Sumbersari Health Centre. Data analysis technique used chi square test, with significance level of p value = 0.018 (α=0. 05) and OR 10,667. It means that there was a significant correlation between nursing service and patient satisfaction level in Sumbersari Health Center Jember Regency and good nursing service has a chance 10,667 times more in getting higher patient satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the leadership style of the head of the room with the work motivation of nurses in the treatment room of the Sheikh Yusuf Hospital Kab. This research was conducted at the Regional General Hospital of Sheikh Yusuf Gowa. The population in this study were all nurses who served in the surgical, internal and pediatric care rooms at Syekh Yusuf Gowa Hospital. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the leadership style used by the head of the room is democratic and the work motivation of nurses is high. It is recommended for the Sheikh Yusuf hospital that the heads of the treatment rooms can apply a democratic leadership style to get high work motivation for nurses.

Abstract

As the elderly population increases, the government is trying to formulate policies that aim to improve the health status and quality of the elderly to achieve a happy and efficient old age, in the family and community, but the visit of the elderly to the elderly Posyandu is still lacking, it is suspected that the elderly lack knowledge about the existence and benefits of the Posyandu elderly. The research objective was to determine the relationship between elderly behavior and the frequency of visits to posyandu. The research used was analytic in nature with a cross-sectional design on 45 sample people, conducted in PekanBaru Kota District from September 2020 to January 2021. Data on knowledge, attitudes and sample identity as data primary researchers collected by interview using a questionnaire, while the secondary data, namely the general description of the research location, was recorded from the Puskesmas report. Primary data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate, bivariate analysis with Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and the frequency of elderly visits to the elderly Posyandu with the results X2count > X2table, with a degree of confidence of 95% ∑ = 0.05 and df = 1, and there was no relationship between attitude and the frequency of visits by the elderly to the elderly Posyandu with results X2count <X2table. with a degree of confidence of 95% ∑= 0.05 and df= 1. It was concluded that visits by the elderly to the elderly Posyandu were related to the behavior of the elderly but it was concluded that visits to the elderly Posyandu were not related to the behavior of the elderly.

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country and cannot escape population problems. The main population problems faced by Indonesia are a large population with a relatively high population growth rate, unequal population distribution, a young age structure, and the quality of the population that must be improved. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with the following sample criteria: Couples of Reproductive Age (women) aged 20-35 years, Couples of Reproductive Age who have 2 children, Couples of Reproductive Age who are not pregnant or sick, the sample in this study was 83 people. The results of statistical tests using the Chi-Square test showed that there was a significant relationship between the number of children and family planning participation in Kuta Raja District, Banda Aceh City in 2021, with a value of P = 0.000 (P <0.05). The results of the analysis of the relationship between the number of children and family planning participation, of the 38 people (45.8%) who had children 0-1, there were 18 people (21.7%) who stated that they took part in family planning, this was because the respondents wanted to set the distance between the first child with the next child. Meanwhile, of the 45 people (54.2%) who had ≥ 2 children, there were 2 people (2.4%) who stated that they did not participate in family planning.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a disease characterized by an increase in the frequency of defecation more than usual (> 3 times/day) accompanied by a change in the consistency of the stool to become liquid with or without blood and/or mucus. In Indonesia, the number of sufferers of diarrhea is around 60 million events each year, most of the 70% - 80% of these sufferers are under the age of 3 years, more or less than 40 million events. The increase in the number of sufferers of diarrhea is associated with factors that influence the occurrence of diarrhea such as environmental health factors, hand washing factors and food sanitation factors. This type of research is a cross-sectional analysis design with the aim of analyzing the factors that cause diarrhea in children aged 1-3 years in the Simpang Tiga Riau Health Center work area in 2021. The population of this study is all mothers who have children aged 1-3 years who suffering from diarrhea who came for treatment at the Simpang Tiga Riau Health Center in August 2020 - February 2021. The sample in this study were 70 people and the sampling method used the Accidental Sampling method. This type of research data is primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data obtained was analyzed by looking at the total percentage of data collected and presented in frequency distribution tables. The results of the study stated that around 70% of the response by washing hands was at risk of having a child experience diarrhea, there was a relationship between hand washing (p=0.000), food sanitation (p=0.003) and the incidence of diarrhea in children aged 1-3 years. For this reason, it is recommended for mothers who have children aged 1-3 years to pay more attention to environmental health, teach their children good hand washing and pay attention to food sanitation to prevent diarrhea in these children. For officers at the Simpang Tiga Riau Health Center, especially nurses in the infectious disease handling section, to provide counseling to mothers who have children aged 1-3 years about the factors that cause diarrhea in children and provide an explanation of how to prevent diarrhea.

Abstract

Pulmonary Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is a health problem at the Lampaseh Health Center in Banda Aceh City in 2021. To achieve recovery, it is necessary to adhere to medication for every patient with pulmonary TB and this compliance is influenced by many factors. The purpose of this study was to find out the factors that influence medication adherence of pulmonary TB patients at the Lampaseh Health Center in Banda Aceh City in 2021, with a cross-sectional research design by knowing the factors that influence medication adherence of pulmonary TB patients at the Lampaseh City Health Center Banda Aceh 2021 which will be held in September 2020 - January 2021. The population in this study were 124 pulmonary TB patients. The sampling technique used was Accidental Sampling, namely patients who came to the Health Center to take drugs regularly with a sample size of 25 people. From the results of the study it was found that the factors that influence adherence to taking medication in pulmonary TB patients areknowledge (96%), motivation (100%), attitude (100%), physical ability (92%), family support (96%), counseling (100%) and side effects (68%). From the results of this study it can be concluded that knowledge, motivation, attitudes, physical abilities, family support, counseling and side effects affect medication adherence in pulmonary TB patients. Therefore, researchers suggest that it is necessary to carry out counseling by health workers and family supervision of pulmonary TB patients so that treatment does not fail and recovery can be achieved.

Abstract

Complaints about health services in hospitals are often heard from health insurance participants as a significant part, sometimes the health services obtained are not satisfactory, usually the targets are the attitude or actions of doctors or paramedics who are not good enough, inadequate facilities, drug supplies, and patient safety etc. The purpose of this study was to describe the quality of health services for inpatients participating in BPJS at the Padang Sidempuan City Regional General Hospital. This research was conducted at the Padang Sidempuan Regional General Hospital. The type of research used is a survey with a descriptive approach. The sample of this study were inpatients participating in BPJS with purposive sampling with a total of 50 samples. The results showed that 77.3% of BPJS inpatients who stated good doctor services with good health service quality, 79.5% of BPJS inpatients who stated good nurse services with good quality health services, 79.5% of inpatients 93.9% of BPJS stated that patient safety services were good with good quality health services, 88.2% of inpatient BPJS participants stated that administrative services were good with good quality health services. The conclusion is that inpatients are BPJS participants who state that doctor services are good, nurse services are good, patient safety services are good, administration is good with good health service quality.
