Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study was to determine what actions or tactics MSMEs may take to sustain their operations in the face of COVID 19. In particular when pandemics strike, this study will explain how MSMEs use measures to remain in operation and adapt more quickly to market shifts. Design/methodology/approach – The topic and area of research interest are described in this study using a qualitative methodology. Methods of qualitative research are those that rely on qualitative data rather than a statistical foundation. Findings – Because so many people are now buying online, the suggested survival strategy for MSMEs to be able to retain their business is to (1) earn sales through e-commerce. (2) Using digital technology for product promotion (digital marketing) in order to reach more customers (3) Enhance the standard of both the type and caliber of the service as well as the product. Research limitations/implications – Because it employs descriptive and qualitative approaches, this study includes more subjective informants, who run a significant risk of lowering the objectivity of the research findings. The researcher's personality will influence the research's findings; hence, when you meet other researchers with various personalities, the findings may change. Originality/value – E-commerce has been shown in studies (Hardilawati, 2019; Setyorini et al., 2019) to positively and significantly affect marketing effectiveness and MSME revenue. Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this essay is to evaluate how well human resource management affects employee performance. Organizational performance is the aggressiveness, or total, of all divisions' performances, whereas divisional performance is the aggression of all members' performances. Design/methodology/approach – The methodology in this study is qualitative. A qualitative approach is a research method that generates descriptive information from people's spoken or written words and observed behavior. The purpose of this research is to describe and evaluate occurrences, events, and social interactions, as well as individual and group attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, and ideas. Findings – According to the study's findings and the debate that followed, human resource management is crucial for enhancing employee performance in planning, hiring, selecting, and training new employees. Employee performance evaluation is a key component of human resource management's planning for evaluating personnel. Making a responsible choice throughout the hiring process is necessary to subsequently be considered as an employment candidate. Employees do selection tasks in the next step to ensure that they fulfill the requirements and specifications in accordance with their foreign exchange. Research limitations/implications – The more subjective informants used in this study run the significant danger of lowering the impartiality of the research findings. The researcher's personality will influence the research's findings; hence, when you meet other researchers with various personalities, the findings may change. Originality/value – There is little question that the resources found inside the company, particularly people who actively participate as actors in attempts to attain organizational goals, have an impact on the achievement of organizational goals. An initial learning process or a debriefing of a skill or idea would be used to carry out training in this study, it was discovered, in order to boost employee performance.

Abstract

Purpose – In tackling poverty and unemployment, an entrepreneurial spirit is needed. The growth of entrepreneurs will encourage national economic growth. The strategies used to develop businesses and increase turnover in the current digital era are very different from previous eras. Design/methodology/approach – The research method used in this journal is a qualitative method because this journal describes strategies for developing a business in the digital era. Findings – Business development is an effort that must be carried out by various parties involved in the business, including the government, local government, communities, and entrepreneurs themselves, to develop their business into a larger business with high competitiveness through the provision of side-by-side facilities and guidance accompanied by motivation and productivity. Research limitations/implications – This study uses more subjective informants, who have a strong risk of reducing the objectivity of the research results. The character of the researcher will affect the results of the research; it could be that when you meet other researchers with different characters, the results will be different. Originality/value – Business success or continuity is needed to grow and develop in the market (Kurniawati, Santoso, & Widowati, 2019). In this study, the market is very influential on the business strategic plans carried out by MSMEs.

Abstract

Purpose – The goal of this essay is to undertake a theoretical analysis of working capital management's function in boosting profitability. And to research and keep each component of working capital in the best possible balance in order to help the business become more profitable. Design/methodology/approach – Research Techniques The approach taken in this study is descriptive research, which describes the findings of research descriptions that have been made based on the data in this study in order to develop a theory that can be used to explain, forecast, and manage a phenomenon. Data gathering methods that make data collection easier Findings – Through indicators and financial ratios connected to working capital, such as cash turnover and accounts receivable turnover, working capital must be correctly managed to ensure the smooth running of the company's operational activities. Working capital management enables businesses to attain and boost earnings and profitability while also assisting them in decision-making. Consequently, the firm will continue to exist. Research limitations/implications – This study uses more subjective informants since it uses descriptive and qualitative methods, which poses a serious risk to the impartiality of the research conclusions. When you meet additional researchers with different personalities, the findings may vary since the researcher's personality will affect the research's conclusions. Originality/value – Working capital management is one of the most crucial facets of a complete company's spending management, according to Munawir (Maria, 2008: 2). In this research, working capital has to be managed appropriately to ensure that the business' operational operations operate smoothly and successfully. Working capital-related financial indicators and ratios, such as cash turnover and accounts receivable turnover, can help with this. The business will be able to boost its earnings and profitability by using working capital management.
