Abstract

In Cipatujah Subdistrict Tasikmalaya Regency, to be precise in sidosari Village, Cipanas Village, there is a Kuda Lumping art group. The existence of this art group is a cultural asset that must be fully appreciated and its existence be maintained, considering that cuurently the Kuda Lumping art is rarely recognized and rarely found. In teh research process the author found a thesis that examines the visual properties of Kuda Lumping art in Kebon Waru Village, Gunung Batu Village, Ciracap District, Sukabumi District. On this occasion the author will make comparisons regarding matters relating to the art of the Kuda Lumping that is in Sidosari Village Cipanas Village Cipatujah District Tasilmalaya District with Kebon Waru Village Gunung Batu Village Ciracap District Sukabumi District, reveal and analyze in the form of how to visualize the costume accessories and properties in the two places. This reseach uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection in this study using interviews, documentationn and literature studies that are covered by using instruments or tools such as cameras, cellphones, and writing instruments. The object under study is the art of Kuda Lumping. The results of this study are expected to provide insight to the public regarding the visualization of the art properties of the Kuda Lumping art.

Abstract

Kesenian tradisional sangatlah perlu mendapatkan pemeliharaan, pembinaan, kemudian dikembangkan dan dipertahankan kelestariannya agar generasi mendatang mengerti serta memahami warisan leluhur. Salah satu kesenian yang masih ada di Daerah Tasikmalaya adalah Angklung Sered Balandongan Desa Sukaluyu Kecamatan Mangunreja Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Angklung Sered berdiri pada tahun 1907, pada awalnya Angklung ini sebagai tengara kemudian menjadi adu jajaten (adu kekuatan), dan berubah lagi menjadi hiburan hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan terbentuknya kesenian Angklung Sered dan sistem pewarisan Angklung Sered Balandongan di Daerah Mangunreja Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Adapun permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian, antara lain : 1) Bagaimana terbentuknya kesenian Angklung Sered Balandongan di Daerah Mangunreja Kabupaten Tasikmalaya ? 2) Bagaimana sistem pewarisan kesenian Angklung Sered Balandongan di Daerah Mangunreja Kabupaten Tasikmalaya ? metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menggambarkan dan menjelaskan masalah-masalah secara alamiah yang berkaitan dengan kesenian Angklung Sered dan menganalisis hasil penelitian mengenai terbentuknya kesenian Angklung Sered dan sistem pewarisan kesenian Angklung Sered. Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian untuk menghimpun data yaitu dengan menggunakan instrumen observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen.

Abstract

“Galonggong Golok craft is hereditary craft from Galonggong village of Tasikmalaya that still maintains the characteristic shape since a long time. Besides functioning as daily tools necessities, Galonggong golok has a high artistic value. Especially on the handle part, or in Sunda it called as Peurah. So that, there are many buyers interested and make Galonggong golok as decorations and decorative objects. This research is discussed about Golok-making process as well as knowing and understanding of aesthetic visualization in terms of shape and decoration in Cilangkap village, Manonjaya, Tasikmalaya city. The method used is qualitative method since it is more effective to presents the nature of the relationship between the researcher and the subject directly. The data collection techniques used were direct observation, interview and documentation study techniques”.

Abstract

The title that the researcher adopted inthis study was about the development of role art learning to improve kinesthetic intelligece in class viii junior high school 1 Karangnunggal. The problem behind this problem is that it is often difficult for class VIII students to play roles, and to function their bodies (physically) as well as creative and innovative ideas. Researchers see how important it is to improve kinesthetic intelligence through learning the art of acting. Because this learning can iincrease body flexibility and body response and can develop ideas in acting. Students can also learn more confidently and also be fun in this lesson so that the atmosphere in the classroom is not saturating. The sampel of this researcher is 1 class from class VIII. The application of the realisst methode of Stanilafski is a method of percentage acting that prioritizes identification between the actor and the character’s soul, so that the transformation process will develop to find its target. Learning methods that will be applied by meas of interviews, observation, and documentation so that it is easy to interact with students. In addition, the method that the author applies in this study is closely related to increasing kinesthetic intelligence. Acting is someone who becomes or incarnates another according to the script that is delivered, so that events on stage can be seen as real. But the problem in applying the realist method is that students lack knowledge of acting so that students do not know the strengths is their body or physicality. In addition to students not knowing the role of art, the facility also interferes with the learning process of applying the realist method which aims to improve kinesthetic intelligence. Researchers want the results of this research, studet researchers can know or recognize their bodies, and the meaning or meaning of acting along with realist methods. Kinesthetic intelligence is an idea formation as well as physical development. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Da obtained by means of interviews, documentation an drawing conclusions.

Abstract

This research entitled “The art of flaying genjring on the tradition of baby hair shaving in Kalapa Dua village, Margaluyu village, Manonjaya district”. Genjring flaying art is a traditional art using a tambourine musical instrument. Genjring flaying art is often used in celebrations, thanksgiving, entertainment at the opening of the event, in the tradition of shaving babies as well as the spread of Islam. Member of this genjring flying art is an elderly person. This study aims to analyze the form of presentation, and the inheritance of the art of flying genjring in Kalapa Dua village, Margaluyu village, Manonjaya District. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive analytic approach. Data collection techniques through, observation, interviews, documentation and literature study.

Abstract

The research entitled the Symbolic Meaning of the Jurig Sarengseng Costume in Binangun Village, Banjar City is based on the background that the City of Banjar has various cultures that are almost the same as the culture of Central Java because it is on the border of the region. One of the arts that is interesting to examine is the Jurig Sarengseng Art in Binangun Village, Banjar City because it is seen from the costumes that it seems distorted and different from other arts. This research is limited to the form of presentation and symbolic meaning of the Jurig Sarengseng Costume Art in Binangun Village, Banjar City. Based on the background of the problem above, the problem can be formulated as follows: 1). What about the costumes from Jurig Sarengseng art in Binangun Village, Banjar City?, 2). What is the symbolic meaning contained in the costume for the Jurig Sarengseng Art costume in Binangun Village, Banjar City? This study uses the qualitative analysis method. As a form of qualitative research, this study seeks to apply existing theories to explain the phenomena that occur in the object of the research material. Descriptive method in the sense that the data collected is manifested in the form of information / description about events or activities that are comprehensive, contextual, and meaningful. Data obtained from in-depth interviews with related parties.
