Abstract

This Community Service aims to provide knowledge about making Sasirangan cloth with various motifs that can increase competitiveness in the market because different and rare motifs are found. The service method used is to provide direct training to the community by experts in making Sasirangan fabrics with various modifications of motifs. This training is carried out for ten days, from theoretical material to manufacturing practice until finished. Several things were concluded about the results of the movement, namely the preparation of (Kelompok Swadaya Masyarakat) KSM as an organizer was still not mature, so the sequence of activities had not been well conceptualized. Then the activities were carried out during the pandemic. Hence, it took a long time for training, which impacted the enthusiasm and commitment of participants to be disciplined in carrying out activities. Through this training, it is hoped that it will foster an entrepreneurial spirit in the North Loktabat community, especially Sasirangan artisans in this area are relatively rare. This condition is undoubtedly a good business opportunity considering that Sasirangan is a typical South Kalimantan fabric always in demand by the public, whether for daily clothing or gifts and souvenirs. In addition, the various modifications of the Sasirangan motifs make the Sasirangan look more modern and contemporary so that the competitiveness of this product increases.

Abstract

During the pandemic, MSMEs suffered a drop in demand for goods and services, resulting in a decline in MSME income. The epidemic had an impact on sales, which caused a fall. The tourism sector has taken the brunt of the damage. A company in Rejoso Village, Batu, was one of the severely impacted MSMEs. This Village is meant to be an instructive trip in the guise of an MSME Village. The redevelopment of Rejoso Village has a lot of potentials. Training and mentoring for MSME owners are among the activities conducted. The method applied is community-based participatory research (CBPR), which includes laying the groundwork, planning, acquiring information, taking action, monitoring and assessment, and evaluation. This activity produces a financial statement that can be used to make MSME business choices.

Apuai Village, Aranio District, Banjar Regency is an underdeveloped village where people challenging to access the internet or telephone signals, and access roads to and from the village are not accessible. The hope is that the existence of this library can help the community, especially school children in the village, to have insight into creative thinking, cultivate spirituality, foster interest in reading, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of learning in the library. It is also hoped to increase entrepreneurship awareness for the readers for the local community with a low level of education. This community service activity also contains counseling to increase interest in reading. By diligently reading, people will find new knowledge to improve their ability to manage their natural and human potential. As a collection material, our library also provides books related to products and books on marketing strategies and product packaging to increase competitiveness. So far, the community can process natural products into something with better power. They also have difficulty in terms of packaging and marketing. It is because of the difficulty of access to information on attractive marketing and packaging techniques due to the problem of access to transportation, information, and telecommunications in this village.

This activity aims to provide actionable solutions to maintain family food security through the community movement to grow vegetables. The method used in this activity is the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method which begins with FGD, counseling, and field practice. The activity implementer can become a facilitator and directly facilitate the community carrying out activities. The empowerment program was carried out in Kepuharjo Village, Malang Regency, with the main target being housewives. As a result of this activity, participants who attended the FGD and the facilitator decided to create a community movement in independent vegetable growing to stay productive during the pandemic. Community movement was conducted for two weeks, during which the activity implementation team provided all materials, planting media, and seeds. During the two weeks running, 53 housewives grew vegetables independently. Based on the evaluation results, this activity is very effective and efficient for household food fulfillment. Ninety-seven percent of homemakers say that they can increase their food needs with this movement, so they don't have to buy. Of course, it has an impact on saving household expenses. As many as 90 percent of homemakers do this activity and repeat it after harvest. Abstract

The MSME sector has a vital role in supporting the economy of Malang Regency. The factor that makes it difficult for MSMEs to access Islamic banking financing is an unorganized financial administration system characterized by operational costs inseparable from household expenses. Technical constraints make MSME owners less concerned about their long-term business goals or strategic plans. Karangsuko Village, located in the Malang Regency area, most of the population still relies on the MSME sector as a livelihood. This service aims to make MSME actors understand financial management, sharia accounts, financing rules from Islamic banks, preparation of financial reports, and the formation of proposals for submitting financing to Islamic banks.
