Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge and environmental support on student entrepreneurship intentions. This study is a causal associative research with a quantitative approach. The variables of this study are entrepreneurial knowledge and environmental support as independent variables, entrepreneurship intentions as the dependent variable. This study is a research with 105 student respondents. Data collection techniques use questionnaire. Data analysis method used is regression. The results of this study indicate that (1) Entrepreneurial knowledge has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions and (2) Environmental support has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions. Therefore, the findings are that the knowledge and support of the environment has a positive effect on student entrepreneurship intentions.

Abstract

Abstract Organizations or companies need human resources to carry out all business activities, both related to operations, marketing, finance, human resources, and information systems. Human resources are believed to be one of the key factors in achieving superior organizational performance. Of the various factors that must be considered to achieve this performance are workload, work stress, and motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of work load, work stress, and motivation on RS Ludira Husada Tama employee’s performance.The number of samples was 110 respondents, data collection using questionnaires, and using linear regression analysis. The results in this study indicate: workload and motivation variables partially affect employee performance; workload, work stress, and motivation variables simultaneously influence employee performance; of the three variables; the biggest influence on employee’s performance is the workload variable. Overall, workload, work stress, and motivation variables contributed to the influence of 26.4% while the remaining 73.6% was influenced by other variables not included in the research model.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to investigate the effect of Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) and cash flow on financial distress in transport companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012 to 2016. Transportation in Indonesia began to show significant development after the attention given by the government through 13 logistical policies in 2015. The sample used in this study was 14 companies with 210 research objects. The results found evidence that EBIT and Cash Flow significantly influence financial distress.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the presence of insider trading in the form of information leakage (asymentric information) before the day of the release of the information. Information leaks can be seen from the movement of stock prices in accordance with the direction of information, before the information is released. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression to examine the effect of Return on Assets, Current Ratio, and Debt to Equity Ratio on Stock Returns before the release date of the financial statements. By using 10 sample companies from the Consumer Goods Industry sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, it was found that there was a positive and significant relationship between Return on Assets and Stock Returns before the release of the financial statements.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study to examines and analyze differences the financial performance of local governments before and after decentralization. Through regional autonomy, local government has the authority to explore the role of the allocation of income and perform independently in setting development priorities. It is based on Law No. 23/2014 on Regional Government and Law No. 33/2004 on Financial Balance between Central and Local Government. The sample in this study were all districts in Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) in the period of 1994 to 2015. The sample used is districts in DIY namely Bantul, Gunungkidul, Kulon Progo, Sleman Regency, and Yogyakarta City. Data used in this research is secondary data. Data analysis using Paired Sample T - Test. These results indicate that there is no difference of fiscal decentralization degrees in districts in DIY before and after regional autonomy; there is no difference of regional financial independence ratio in districts in DIY before and after regional autonomy; and there is differences of regional financial in harmony ratio in districts in DIY before and after regional autonomy.
