Abstract

this study aims to determine the effect of land area, capital and labor on papaya production in Naena Muktipura Village (SP VI) either partially or simultaneously. The method used by the researcher is the associative method. The data collection technique carried out by the researcher was distributing questionnaires which were distributed to 27 respondents. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that partially land had no significant effect on papaya production in Naena Muktipura Village, Capital had a significant effect on papaya production in Naena Muktipura Village and labor had no significant effect on papaya production results in Naena Muktipura Village, meanwhile simultaneously the factors land production, capital and labor have a significant effect on papaya production in Naena Muktipura Village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the principles of Good Governance to public services at the Mimika Regency Population and Civil Registration Service. To answer the formulation of the first and second problems using descriptive methods, where descriptive methods are used to describe or analyze research data but not to draw broader conclusions on population characteristics. To answer the third problem formulation using associative research methods, where associative research methods are used to determine the effect of one or more independent variables (independent) on one dependent variable. In this study, the data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that the application of the principles of Good Governance and public services has already been implemented properly in the implementation of public services, but on the other hand it is different from the principle of justice which still has deviations so that the services provided are not yet fair to the community. And based on the test results on each indicator of Transparency, Responsiveness, Justice, it turned out that Good Governance had an influence in supporting the implementation of public services at the Population and Civil Registration Office in Mimika Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of work safety (K3) at CV Makmur Timika. The data collection methods are interviews and observations while the analytical tools use the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method. Based on the results of research on the application of K3 at CV Makmur Timika, it shows that the production process from the forest to the sago factory has potential hazards such as mechanical hazards, ergonomic hazards, chemical and microbiological hazards, and other occupational diseases that can be harmful to workers. Researchers suggest to the management of CV Makmur Timika to continue to improve work safety and health by making efforts to control various potential hazards in every job, especially in the forest and factory work processes such as using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working, obeying work procedures and being careful be careful when working

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence economic growth in Mimika Regency. The research method used is the associative method. In this research, the data collection technique used is literature study and documentation. To determine the factors that influence economic growth in Mimika Regency, the analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that household consumption, government spending and net exports affect economic growth in Mimika Regency but investment has no effect on economic growth

Abstract

This study aims to determine the sub-sector of the manufacturing industry that can be prioritized for development in Mimika Regency. In order to achieve these objectives, this research uses descriptive research methods. The data used in this study include GRDP data by business field based on 2010 constant prices in Mimika Regency and Papua Province during the 2016-2020 period which was collected through documentation techniques. To answer the formulation of this research problem, a combination of Klassen Typology and Location Quotient analysis is used. A sub-sector of the manufacturing industry in Mimika Regency is classified as a sub-sector that can be prioritized for its development as a driver of economic growth. The results of this study indicate that the sub-sector of the Textile and Apparel Industry, the sub-sector of the Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Traditional Medicine Industry, and the sub-sector of the Rubber Industry. Goods from Rubber and Plastics, sub-sector of Non-Metal Mining Goods Industry, Other Processing Industry sub-sector; Repair and installation of machinery and equipment services is a sub-sector of the manufacturing industry that can be prioritized for development in Mimika Regency

Abstract

This study aims to analyze creative variables on Economic Improvement and Poverty Alleviation in Langkat Regency through intervention variables. Based on the results of the study, it is known that ecotourism has a significant effect on poverty alleviation, but not through increasing the economy as an intervention variable. In conclusion, economic improvement does not work as an intervention variable. The creative economy has a significant effect on reducing poverty indirectly, through increasing the economy as an intervening variable. The conclusion is that Economic Improvement is an intervention variable on the Creative Economy variable in alleviating poverty.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Family Welfare Card Program (KKS) specific to the Family Hope Program (PKH) by beneficiaries in Kampung Mulia Kencana. The research method used in this research is the descriptive research method. Data collection techniques using documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The analytical instrument uses the effectiveness formula. The results of this study found that the socialization of PKH was at 61%, 96% of KPM used aid fundsbyh PKH's objectives, the rate of recipients of assistance was 85% on target, and the level of program monitoring was at 55%. Meanwhile, if calculated as a whole, the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program in Kampung Mulia Kencana is 79%, which based on the ratio of the effectiveness levels means that the implementation of the Family Hope Program in Kampung Mulia Kencana is less effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategic economic sectors as a supporter of economic growth in Mimika Regency. To determine the economic growth of Mimika Regency in 2010-2017 and strategic economic sectors to support economic growth in Mimika Regency, the data analysis instruments used in this study were Location Quetient (LQ) analysis, Shift Share analysis and Klassen Typology analysis. During the research year, Mimika Regency's economic growth resulted in a positive change in Shift Share added value of 47,854.64 and had two strategic economic sectors to support Mimika Regency's economic growth. These economic sectors are the agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors, especially in the food crops sub-sector and the marine fisheries sub-sector which dominates the fishery sector; and the economic sector of wholesale and retail trade, repair of cars and motorcycles supported by the issuance of 2,297 trade business licenses and recorded as many as 844 SITU made by the Department of Industry and Trade. The pace of trade activities in Mimika Regency has a good impact on increasing economic growth in Mimika Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of government spending and investment on the unemployment rate in Mimika Regency. The method used in this research is associative research method. To achieve the objectives of this study, the data analysis instrument used was multiple linear regression, using the SPSS program. The data in this study were collected using documentation techniques, which were sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Mimika Regency. The results of this study indicate that government spending has a negative effect on the unemployment rate, while investment has a positive effect on the unemployment rate.
