Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the empty chair technique in gestalt therapy regarding: 1) the successful application of the empty chair technique, 2) the goal and setting of the empty chair technique, 3) the procedure and duration of empty chair technique therapy, 4) suggestions and recommendations about the empty chair technique. The research method of applying the empty chair technique in gestalt therapy was library research. The 14 journals would be grouped and summarized into a table into 4 focus discussions. The main focus in Gestalt counseling is to help individuals through their transition from a state that is always assisted by the environment to a state of self-sufficiency (self-support).

Abstract

This paper aims to provide a conceptual framework regarding various local wisdoms in Pati district. More specifically on the intervention of Indigenous Counseling Khaul Syekh Mutamakkin; as a Local Wisdom-based Intervention in Pati District. Pati Regency has a tradition that is always held every year. This tradition is passed down from generation to generation. Tradition is also considered as people's belief in something. This activity is carried out as a form of expression of gratitude, commemorating an anniversary, and about commemorating the death of someone. All of these traditions can be used as Indigenous Counseling interventions. This implies that counseling is rooted in the knowledge system and community practice based on the place where individuals internalize the knowledge system and practice their behavior. Likewise, the tradition of Shaykh Mutamakkin's khaul which is a model of getting closer to God as a useful life philosophy. Even though it shows a Javanese cultural bias, it has become a form of daily spiritual practice that is still practiced by the Pati people.

Abstract

Social worker as a profession based on help and assistance. One of them has the main task of trying to solve problems for individuals and groups. In handling it, social workers are the same as other professions, namely having a certain code of ethics in providing services to their clients. With regard to violence against women, the values and ethics of social workers can be applied in dealing with this problem. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, the data obtained from the results of interviews with institutions. For the approach, researchers used a phenomenology approach. The sources come from media references and other supporting books. In this case, the social worker at Rifka Annisa Yogyakarta tries to be wise and neutral towards the client in establishing a good relationship with the client's problems. The series of mentoring received by the client ends when the client / victim has carried out Self-Determination (self-determination) where the final decision is determined by the client / victim so that in handling the social worker experiences a dilemma when the decision is not in line with the process that has been done with the client.

Abstract

This article aims to explore various literature on spiritual-existential development in the elderly. Initial exploration of this issue is considered important given the increasing structure of the aging population in Indonesia. This population, if not managed properly, will become a pathos structure. The author conducted a thematic analysis to find the main themes of spiritual development issues faced by the elderly. The analysis technique is carried out from compiling the code, determining the initial code, to creating the theme presentation and visualizing the theme. Several themes that are considered as general issues in the spiritual-existential development of the elderly, include: 1) The dynamics of spirituality which include: disconnection versus a focus on religious activities, a more honed listening ability, to a pearl of greater wisdom on the various phenomena that surround it; 2) Reflection on existential themes in the elderly, such as talk of the fate he went through, the death that would come to him, the suffering that made him strong, the struggles that made him strong, and the mistakes of the past; 3) The tasks of the spiritual-existential development of the elderly such as strengthening the belief to Allah, doing higher quality goodness (amal shaleh), mutual wills in truth and patience.

Abstract

Abstract Guidance and Counseling Services for Abandoned Children and Abandoned Persons/Elderly in Social Rehabilitation UPTD PSBS Social Service of the Archipelago Province. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to find out how the guidance and counseling services provided to neglected children and the elderly in social rehabilitation UPTD PSBS Social Service of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The data sources used are primary data, namely the Head of the Social Apocation Program, the Head of Subdivision of TU, ​​and the Head of Guidance and the secondary data are books, journals, theses, archives, and official documents at the Office of Social Institutions for Bina Serumpun Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that: Guidance and counseling services for abandoned children and abandoned people in the UPTD PSBS of the Archipelago Province Social Service can be classified into eight stages, namely the first stage: Initial Approach, second stage: acceptance, third stage: care, fourth stage: maintenance, and Social Protection Care, Fifth Stage: Assessment Stage, Sixth Stage: Coaching Stage, Seventh Stage: Distribution Stage, Eighth Stage: Termination Stage.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the social interaction guidance of speech impaired children at the Bina Serumpun Social Institution of the Bangka Belitung Islands Social Service, which includes the concept of implementation and the inhibiting factors of social interaction guidance for speech impaired children. The type of research used is field research with qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the discussion show that the concept of implementing guidance for children with speech disorders is through the stages of assessment, determination of therapists, implementation of therapy, and evaluation. Inhibiting factors from the interaction of children with speech disorders include the social and emotional environment of children that are not supportive, understanding of parents, lack of socialization, and barriers to focusing the child's attention.

Abstract

This research is motivated because there are still relapses or relapses of productive age drug addicts after entering the post-rehabilitation stage and this research is also a provision of skills for drug addicts and as a place to shift focus and channel their emotional condition after completing rehabilitation. Based on this, this research will discuss and find out how to implement vocational guidance through wheeled automotive skills. This research is a field research which is analyzed using descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation related to what the researchers did. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 stages of vocational guidance through two-wheeled automotive skills, namely the initial stage: assessment, building relationships and agreeing contracts. The core stage is divided into 5 stages of work, namely: knowing what the client wants in what field, looking for cooperation links, offering training and making contracts, holding debriefing, accompanying and directing clients through training. Core stage: follow-up.

Abstract

This article aims to provide a pattern of understanding to Muslim Parents that sex education guidance is very necessary for teenagers. By providing understanding and guidance on sex education in the context of Islam, it is hoped that adolescents can grow into young people who believe and fear Allah SWT, and can maintain their own chastity. The type of research used is the descriptive qualitative method, the data comes from a questionnaire survey of Muslim Parents with 46 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there are still many parents who feel foreign and taboo about adolescent sex education. Parents consider sex education to be done as adults and told by teachers at school.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the promiscuity of teenagers which results in frequent truancy, dropping out of school, getting pregnant out of wedlock. This results in marriage at an early age, even though physically and psychologically they are not ready so that parental guidance is needed for couples who marry at an early age. The purpose of this study was to find out the guidance for married couples who had been married at an early age in the village of Keretak Central Bangka, as well as to find out the factors that influence the guidance for the couple. This research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected using unstructured interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that guidance for couples who married at an early age turned out to be one solution for the development and increase in activities in the family. Likewise, couples who marry at an early age are able to maintain harmonious domestic relations.

Abstract

Memasuki tahun ketiga, fenomena Covid-19 masih terus berlangsung hingga saat ini. Angka penyebaran virus semakin tinggi terhitung awal tahun 2021 di Indonesia. Tak khayal pemberlakuan PPKM darurat dilakukan sebagai upaya meminimalisir penyebaran virus covid 19 di beberapa wilayah Provinsi di Indonesia. Ragam perilaku manusia pun bermunculan sekarang ini, mulai dari ketakutan yang berlebihan, pendapat-pendapat arogan terkait wabah covid 19 merupakan rekayasa, serta anggapan pada budaya untuk kembali menjalankan hidup sehat. Konsep psikologi sosial menjadi jembatan untuk mencoba memahami kembali bagaimana kondisi perilaku manusia dalam kajian-kajian literatur yang relevan dengan pembahasan. Akan menjadi sesuatu yang menarik mempelajari dari semua hal tersebut dimana kondisi pandemi yang mengharuskan kita untuk tetap di rumah saja dan menjaga jarak satu sama lain.
