Abstract

Tuntutan profesionalisme guru adalah salah satu agenda terpenting dalam Sistem Pendidikan Nasional kita. Berdasarkan modus peraturan pemerintah tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan, memaksa setiap pihak yang terlibat dalam sistem pendidikan untuk mempercepat peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan pendidikan tujuan dilakukan melalui mempersiapkan dan meningkatkan keterampilan guru profesional dan juga dengan mengelola unsur pendukung pendidikan. Dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru Sekolah Dasar, yang Departemen Pendidikan telah melakukan ini dengan mempersiapkan kompetensi guru Sekolah Dasar berdasarkan sebagai pedoman. Hal ini juga digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kompetensi guru memiliki. Morever dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman dan peningkatan profesionalisme guru. Kata-kata Kunci: Profesionalisme Guru , Standar Kompetensi, Sekolah Dasar   Abstract: Recently the demand on teacher’s profesionalism is one of the most important agenda in our National Education System. Based on the regulation mode by government about the National Standard of Education, it forces every parties involved in educational system to accelerate the improvement the quality of learning and education the aims are done through preparing and improving the teachers’ skill professionally and also by managing the educational supporting elements. In improving the Elementary School teacher professionalism, the Departement of Education has done this by preparing Elementary School teacher competency based as the guideline. It is also used for measuring the competency level the teacher has. Morever it can be used as guidance and improvement of the teacher’s profesionalism. Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan Model Evaluasi Performance Assessment untuk menilai kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa pada materi turunan di  SMA Negeri Kota  Banda Aceh, menerapkan model dan evaluasi performance assessment untuk menilai kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa pada materi turunan di SMA Negeri Kota  Banda Aceh dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana respon dan kemampuan siswa terhadap komunikasi matematika mereka baik secara tertulis maupun lisan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah berupa performance assessment task dan angket respon kepada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui bahwa pencapaian kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa di SMAN Kota Banda Aceh secara tertulis dan lisan melalui penerapan performance assesment umumnya berada dalam kategori baik dan dari analisis angket ditemukan respon siswa mengenai komponen pembelajaran lebih dari setengah persen. Kesenangan mereka terhadap komponen pembelajaran tersebut juga menunjukkan respon postif. Kata kunci: Performance assessment dan Komunikasi Matematika Abstract: the purpose of this research was to find out the evaluation model of performance assessment to assessed student’s mathematic communication skill in Derivative Matter in SMA Negeri Kota Banda Aceh, applied the model and evaluation of performance assessment to assessed student’s mathematic communication skill in Derivative Matter in SMA Negeri Kota Banda Aceh, and to know how student’s responses and mathematic communication skill is in both written and verbal. The study was adopted as a research and development. The performance assessment task and students’ responses questionnaire was used to collect the data. Based on the data analyses result, showed that achievement of student’s mathematic communication skill in SMA Negeri Kota Banda Aceh in both written and verbal using performance assessment generally placed in good cathegory and from analyses of responses questionnaire, it is known that student’s responses about learning component more than half a percent. Their attract to the learning component also showed positive responses.

Abstract

Toleransi sesungguhnya berkembang dalam kerangka adanya keberagaman dalam berbagai dimensi kehidupan, sehingga akan dapat terwujud keserasian dan keharmonisan hidup, jauh dari konflik-konflik dan ketegangan-ketegangan sosial, lebih-lebih lagi pertentangan dan permusuhan antar sesamanya dalam masyarakat. Tulisan ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pentingya pengembangan sikap toleransi dan kebersamaan melalui rekayasa paedagogis guru dalam latar masyarakat majemuk. Kamajemukan ini juga terjadi dalam seting atau lingkungan sekolah, di mana di dalamnya siswa saling berinteraksi, saling belajar menghargai perbedaan serta saling menerima sesuatu karakteristik tertentu yang mungkin pada lingkungannya tidak pernah dia temui. Kata-kata Kunci: Rekayasa Paedagogis Guru, Sikap Toleransi, Kebersamaan Abstract: Tolerance actually developed in the framework of the diversity in the various dimensions of life, so it will be realized harmony and harmony of life, far from the conflicts and social tensions, even more conflict and hostility between each other in society. This paper aims to describe the importance of the development of tolerance and togetherness through paedagogis engineering background of teachers in a plural society. Kamajemukan also occurs in the setting or the school environment, in which students interact with each other, learn from each other to appreciate the differences and mutually accept certain characteristics that might be something in the environment he's never met. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E pada hukum dasar kimia. Untuk menjawab permasalahan digunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study. Subjek penelitian adalah 25 mahasiswa PGMIPAU Tahun 2014. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan komunikasi tak langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa mahasiswamemberikan respon yang baik terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E pada materi hukum dasar kimia. This study was aimed to know students’ responses towards 5e learning cycle model on law of fundamental chemistry course. One-shot case study design was used to answer the research problem. Research subject are 25 students of PGMIPAU class. Indirect communication technique was usedto collect data. Result of this research informed that students had given good responses towards 5e learning cycle model on law of fundamental chemistry course.   Kata-kata kunci:Model siklus belajar 5E, respon, hukum dasar kimia.

Abstract

Dalam bidang administrasi kesiswaan kualitas pelayan menggambarkan kualitas suatu sekolah. Penelitian tentang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Sambas. Metode  yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, jenis penelitian studi  kasus, orientasi teoritisnya mengacu pada teori Fenomenologi. Hasil wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumen sekolah terungkap bahwa; perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kinerja staf tata usaha oleh kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Sambas sesungguhnya dilakukan untuk menopang kinerja kepala sekolah dalam rangka memaksimalkan pelayanan dibidang administrasi kesiswaan. Kata Kunci: manajemen  kinerja, staf tata usaha, pelayanan administrasi kesiswaan.  Abstract : In the field of quality student administration waiter describe the quality of a school . Research on done in SMP Negeri 2 Sambas. The method used is a qualitative research approach, case study, theoretical orientation refers to the theory of phenomenology. Interviews, observation and documents revealed that school ; planning, implementation , and evaluation of the performance of administrative staff by the principal in SMP Negeri 2 Sambas actually done to sustain the performance of principals in order to maximize the field of administration of student services . Abstract

Upaya mempersiapkan keluaran perguruan tinggi yang berkualitas sangat terkait dengan ketersediaan dan kesesuaian berbagai faktor pendudukung. Salah satu diantara komponen pendukung tersebut adalah tersedianya bahan ajar yang aktual yang diangkat dari isu-isu terkini atau isu-isu sentral di dalam berbagai aspek pengetahuan dan informasi, khususnya berkaitan dengan pendidikan. Tulisan ini mengangkat beberapa di antara isu sentral dimaksud, antara lain; isu filosofis, arah baru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, konseling lintas budaya & cyber conseling, perubahan pandangan tentang eksistensi pendidikan nilai, life skills education, multicultural education, beberapa pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis inquiry, dan e learnig. Kata-kata Kunci: Isu-isu Sentral, Pendidikan, Bahan ajar.Abstract: Efforts to prepare output quality college is strongly associated with the availability and suitability of various factors pendudukung. One among the supporting component is the availability of teaching materials were removed from the actual current issues or the central issues in the various aspects of knowledge and information, particularly with regard to education. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah dengan kepuasan kerja guru, iklim organisasi sekolah dengan kepuasan kerja guru, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMP Negeri Kota Pontianak yang terdiri dari Pontianak Selatan, Pontianak Timur, Pontianak Barat, Pontianak Utara, Pontianak Kota dan Pontianak Tenggara yang berjumlah 820 orang. Pemilihan sekolah dimasing-masing kecamatan dilakukan berdasarkan cluster random sampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 90 orang yang diambil secara proportionate stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah dan iklim organisasi sekolah serta hubungannya dengan kepuasan kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kota Pontianak tergolong dalam kategori kuat. Hasil penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi kepala sekolah dan guru dalam hal meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru, serta peneliti lainnya untuk memperdalam informasi tentang penelitian lain yang relevan. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional Kepala Sekolah, Iklim Organisasi. Abstract: This study aimed to assess the positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence principals with teacher job satisfaction, school organizational climate and job satisfaction of teachers, The population in this study is a Junior High School teacher in Pontianak which consists of South Pontianak, East Pontianak, Pontianak West, North Pontianak, Pontianak City  and Southeast Pontianak which amounts to 820 people. Election in  the  respective school districts conducted by cluster random sampling. The study sample as many as 90 people were taken proportionate stratified random sampling. The results show that emotional intelligence principals and school organizational climate and its relationship with job satisfaction of teachers Junior High School in Pontianak relatively strong category. The The technique of data analysis performed using descriptive The results of this study can be useful to principals and teachers in terms of increasing the job satisfaction of teachers, as well as other researchers to further information about other relevant research. Abstract

Teaching English in Asia typically dominated by teachers and textbooks based. Even worse, teaching English for young learners is generally a matter of vocabularies memorization. The teaching focuses on short-term purposes, those are testing purposes. In fact, in teaching English, the assessment should focus on the function of the language itself. Those teaching styles might be caused by short-term purpose of teaching English: focuses on knowledge and memorization for testing purposes rather than communicative competence. Therefore all the teaching efforts focused on answering the tests while the primary function of learning English is being ignored. Memorizing vocabularies is general activities in teaching of English in primary level.  Thus to avoid such short-term purpose learning, a well and careful designed assessment should put into consideration in teaching English for young learners. Consequently the teaching-learning process will focus on authentic use of language. For those reason, authenticity in the assessment is a major consideration.
