Abstract

Perang selalu diidentikkan dengan peran laki-laki, termasuk juga Perang Korea. Namun, pada kenyataannya, tidak sedikit perempuan Korea Selatan yang memberikan kontribusi aktifnya demi mempertahankan negara. Tulisan ini berusaha melihat peran perempuan Korea Selatan dalam bidang militer, yakni sebagai tentara perempuan dan perawat militer; serta bidang nonmiliter sebagai partisipan gerilya. Dengan menggunakan metode sejarah yang meliputi heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi serta memanfaatkan sejumlah studi literatur, tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa peran perempuan Korea Selatan tidak hanya terbatas pada ranah domestik sebagi penyokong keluarga, karena mempertahankan negara adalah kewajiban seluruh rakyat terlepas dari apapun jenis kelaminnya.Kata kunci: Perang Korea, Perempuan Korea Selatan, Militer

Abstract

The Article discusses the early history of the development of islam in the islamic sultanate of samudera pasai and discusses the life of samudera pasai during the literature study. Samudera pasai was the first area visited by arab traders and from this region the spread throughout the archipelago. During the leadership of sultan malik as shalih Samudera Pasai played an important role in the advancement of the sultane Samudera Pasai. Based on domestic and foreign sources as will as pasai’s historiography, this paper attempts to describe the islamization process of samudera pasai. Based on the narrative of ibn Battuta, a maroccon travel who visited pasai, it can be seen that some aspects of islam that have been implemented  have become an inseparable part of life, in this muslim kingdom.  Keywords: Samudera Pasai, Islam, Sultan Malik As Shalih

Abstract

 AbstrakKehadiran bangsa belanda di Indonesia memberikan pengaruh yang besar bagi kehiduapn ekonomi bangsa Indonesia. Bangsa Indonesia terus mengalami perkembangan ekonomi dalam kehidupannya, perkembangan ekonomi yang dihadapi bangsa Indonesia membawa dampak bagi kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia pada masa itu. Dengan adanya hal tersebut penulis berusaha mengkaji tentang perkembangan ekonomi bangsa Indonesia dengan rumusan masalah sebagai berikut 1). Bagaimana perkembangan ekonomi masa hindia belanda tahun 1900 – 1940 2). Bagaimana dampak perkembangan ekonomi terhadap kehidupan masyarakat lokal?. Meode yang digunakan untuk mengkaji permasalahan yang ada yaitu menggunakan metode study pustaka dengan tahapan empat langkah yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Kata kunci: Masa kolonial, perkembangan, ekonomi

Abstract

Abstract This article discusses Iwan Fals' musical career and his songs with the theme of social criticism, especially songs with the theme of lower class society from 1981-1994. The purpose of this article is to explain the meaning or content contained in the lyrics of Iwan Fals' songs with the theme of lower class society which will then be linked to the context of society at that time. This article uses the Historical method which is presented in a descriptive-analytical form and utilizes news sources, cassette covers, newspapers and magazines, photos and relevant books. To examine the lyrics of the song specifically using the semiotic method of Roland Barthes. Based on the facts collected, Iwan Fals is a stage name and has the real name virgiawan listanto. As a child, he often played with poor children in the village behind his house. He began to recognize music from his boarding house in Bandung. His success in winning the 1979 Country Music Festival made Musica Studio recruit Iwan Fals. Together with musica he completed 13 albums between the period 1981-1988.Iwan Fals considers his songs are the result of his observations of society. From the results of the analysis, Iwan Fals' songs have a lot to say about the life of the lower class. His partiality to the lower class of society is inseparable from his background in life which is close to the community. Keywords: Iwan Fals, Lower Class Society, Music Industry, Semiotics

Abstract

Pemuda merupakan salah satu golongan masyarakat yang mempunyai potensi tinggi, tidak mudak menyerah, berani berjuang dan mempunyai pendirian teguh. Mereka dapat menjadi kekuatan positif untuk membangun suatu negeri bila diberikan oengetahuan dan kesempatan yang mereka butuhkan untuk berkembang. Peran pemuda sangat dibutuhkan dalam suatu bangsa, layaknya para pemuda di Indonesia yang pada tahun 1928 memunculkan pergerakan nasional untuk memperjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Sebelum tercetusnya Kongres Pemuda di tahun 1928 pada kalangan pemuda sering muncul perasaan tidak puas akan sikap merendah yang diperlihatkan di organisasi kedaerahan. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyusun penulisan ini adalah metode sejarah dan langkah pengumpulan datanya menggunakan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah memasuki tahun 1920-an para pemuda mulai menyadari akan pentingnya persatuan yang ditimbulkan dalam diri pemuda untuk meraih kemerdekaan Indonesia. Dengan itu para pemuda mulai melunakan sifat kedaerahannya dan bersatu yang diwujudkan dalam Kongres Sumpah Pemuda.
