Abstract

Homeschooling or Home School (also called home education or home based learning) is the education of children at home, typically by parents or by tutors, rather than in other formal settings of public or private school. Although prior to the introduction of compulsory school attendance laws, most childhood education occurred within the family or community, homeschooling in the modern sense is an alternative in developed countries to attending public or private schools. Homeschooling is a legal option for parents in many countries, allowing them to provide their children with a learning environment as an alternative to public or private school outside the home. Parents cite three main reasons for homeschooling their children dissatisfaction with the local schools and the interests in increased involvement with their children’s learning and development. To provide a specific religious or moral instruction and dissatisfaction with available school environment the quality of academic instruction, the curriculum.Recently, home school has increased popularity in Indonesia of children ages 5 through 17 who are homeschooled increased from 2002 to 2015.

Abstract

The thesis discuss about reforming and formulating Islamic Law of personal status codes in Tunisia, and it was happened by appearing Majallah al-Akhwāl Ash-Shakhshiyyah in 1956. This activity have been done in order to do some unifications to codes of personal status and more sensitive within modernity and human needs, because the traditional formula of Islamic law is not able to response the contemporary issues. Then, the personal status codes factually trigger and appear some debate and controversial in the roundtable of Islamic scholars, because its considered as opposite within Qur’ānic verses and Ḥadīth. They are; prohibiting polygamous marriage, erasing ijbār rights, setting the age limit for getting married, making the procedures of Ṭalāq, setting codes of nafaqah (the relationship between husband and wife), making procedure of Ṭalaq Ba’in (three divorces) and setting procedure of adoption. All of issues above become the articles of Constitution in Tunisia. It must be informed that all topics are inspired and adopted from the modern Islamic scholars’ opinions such as Muhammad ‘Abduh, Ṭāhir Ḥaddād and others, in addition the secularity approach which is promoted by the president of Tunisia Ḥabib Borghuiba. Thus, it drives reforming and renewing Islamic law of personal status codes in social life of Tunisia, which is considered by the majority of Islamic Scholars as more modern and progressive in Arab world.

Abstract

The article discuss about Mass Media and its influence to the people. Deeply, it also explains about the significant functions of Mass Media. In the opinion, the article states that Mass Media is like double-edged of knife; it has possitive effect, and in the other hand it brings a lot of negative effects. Thus, it must be paid attention carefully by the government, the producers of Mass Media and the people. Therefore, the article would like to highlight, explain and discuss the real meaning, character and effects of Mass Media. In addition, the method here is using some theories which were presented by some scholars of Mass Media, and describing some facts and its interpretation. Surely, it gives the new horizan of thinking about Mass media and the people’s response.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the protection and the accolade towards human rights is still pathetic, in the reason that some cases on human rights violations such as coercion, discrimination, arbitrariness, etc often occur. Empirically, women and children are most vulnerable to become victims because of human trafficking. They are traded to be exploited and manipulated brutally as sexual objects, servitude, force labor, and so on. It must be paid attention by everyone in this country. This article would like to inform some of realities about it, and highlight the true meaning of human rights and its protection based on legislation and regulations of Indonesia constitution. It’s expected that the article becomes part of solutions for social problems related to women and children in Indonesia.

Abstract

Getting married is an act which is praised by The Prophet Muhammad, because it was recommended to Allah’s messengers and prophets firstly before advised towards people, in order to present the meaning that getting married is very important for human being, and it must be paid attention and applied by Muslims. In applying this recommendation all couple expect to get happy life in this world and the hereafter. Some people believe that this strong expectation can be gotten truly within completing all material facilities, besides having heartfelt, creed and confidence. But, in the conditions some couples do not have more stronger when the problems of life in household come and take turns; in fact one of them with his powerful dominates to each other, and then gets rid of the other’s rights. Thus, the article presents about making agreement in married life as a solution for the problems of household and keeping the rights of everyone. The methods of presenting here are using all references in Islamic traditions, combined to the legislations and regulation of Indonesian constitution. It gives the new horizon of study in this case.

Abstract

The article discuss about a phenomena of early age marriage which is interesting to modern scholars, because it is happen factually and appearing many problems either in social life or law. So, it becomes the hot and controversial issue, especially about its relationship to Islamic Law and National Law. Particularly, the discussion is regarding topics, such as: the rights of child, the problems of reproduction, life after marriage, unwed pregnancy, and so on. Within presenting some phenomena which were happen, the article concludes and relates it to some social theories and Islamic doctrines, in order to present the problem and solutions together. It gives the new horizon of thought in the topic.

Abstract

The Article describes about the breastfeeding and its significance for the baby and making more powerful relationship in a family. It is caused by the good cooperation between father and mother to get the roles of each others. Especially, the article presents the perspective of Al-Qur’an about the breastfeeding and the mother role, and the discuss deeply the breastfeeding father according to Qur’anic scholars, as fundamental theology doctrine. Thus, the article aims to highlight, explain and discuss the breastfeeding as true baby’s right and it becomes the responsibility of his father-mother. The method here is using literature reviews from classical and contemporary Islamic books, related to the Qur’anic interpretation, the breastfeeding and its functions, and the roles of father in activity of breastfeeding. It gives the new horizan of thinking about participation and cooperation between father and mother in modern society life.
