Abstract

Motor vehicles are very vulnerable objects to be stolen. Anticipation of theft is not enough simply by installing a security lock such as a double-lock, but the vehicle can be equipped with a monitoring system and controller to provide more security level. Motor vehicles are generally not equipped with a GPS device, so need to be equipped with these devices and also embedded systems can be monitored remotely. The use of embedded systems is an option to be implemented because it is power-efficient and the price is relatively cheap using Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, GSM modem, Ublox 6M V2 GPS and DC relay as IoT device. The device comes with an application connected to the Initial State server and then mounted on the vehicle. When enabled, the IoT tool will transmit vehicle position data from GPS satellites to the Initial State server. The control function of this device also utilizes Telegram Bot which is planted on IoT device with the function of receiving commands from users via Telegram chat application to set the condition of relay module whether on or off, which becomes switch function between Engine Control Module to coil vehicle as electric current to start the machine. The result of the research is a vehicle monitoring and control device using Raspberry Pi, as the main module.

Abstract

In this research is made an automatic home safety system that is able to protect the house from the danger of criminal acts such as theft and robbery. This automatic home security system is able to provide notification to the home owner via SMS gateway and able to control the gate open the gate of the house automatically and give a warning sound of buzzer alarm. The system-making methodology is to use the Arduino as the main control device of the system. The camera is used for video capture capable of recording images automatically, while the automatic gate closes if the sensor detects the person entering the house, and at the same time the buzzer alarm will rang. To activate the system required commands that must be sent via mobile phone and received by SMS gateway. The results of this study in the form of a prototype system that is able to send notifications automatically to the homeowner accompanied by video footage containing the image information of the perpetrators of crime in the house.

Abstract

Technological developments, especially information technology today is needed in decision making to be taken, then in the process of asset rental management work at PT. Schneider Electric Indonesia. Data processing is still manual and often lead to loss of data, as well as data recording errors become untidy. Then for data collection methods using observation methods, interviews, and documentation studies to the agency concerned. In modeling the author using object-oriented design method with the tool is UML (unified Modeling Language). For database design used normalization method, table relation and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram). Implementation and design of the program using Visual Studio 2005. With the implementation of computerized systems, the level of accuracy of data can be controlled properly, as in the process of gathering information about the existence of the device can be known effectively and efficiently. The lease limit of each device can be known by making this rental asset management system. The work capture initially experienced by IPO TEs can be minimized, because with this system, there is no need for more effort from TIM IPO to document asset management manually and slow down the process of collecting information on rental assets. The use of asset management information systems can help speed up data processing processes.

Abstract

Document security is one of the most important things in the exchange of data and information, especially the exchange of data using email media, because there are many threats when the process is done. Data security, especially for text documents is very important. Because the text of messages that are sent is sometimes a private and confidential message, so the confidentiality of messages becomes very important. Document security at SMB II Airport is very important such as employee data from head office as well as company documents that should not be known by outsiders. The document is a very secret document, if the important documents of the company fall into the hands of irresponsible, then there are parties who will be very harmful in the incident. Therefore, a better level of security is required with the development of an encryption application or message to be sent. Utilize the email media shown to help resolve document security issues, so that third parties can not know the contents of the information or messages. Utilization of AES 128bit algorithm combined with Elgamal algorithm to generate an information encoding application in improving document security.

Abstract

The growth of multimedia data nowadays become faster both the size and number, so it is required search tools to searching multimedia data, especially images. Image search is usually done by using keywords, but many weaknesses when searching image using keyword. so, it is required image search techniques based on the content of an image, it is known Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR). Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) is an image retrieval technique from a large image database by performing feature analysis of images. To improve the retrieval capability, this paper will conduct CBIR research using color features with color anglogram and texture features with Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM). The results of the experiment conducted 10 times obtained the average precision 0.813 and the average best precision is 0.828571 obtained in experiment to 3.

Abstract

Drinking water which is a vital need for human life has been widely used in the form of Drinking Water Depot. The business of drinking water depots is one of the business alternative with relatively small cost which aims at helping the community to supply cheap, healthy and practical drinking water. Currently most of the Drinking Water Depots are still using Toren tanks for their water storage. To monitor the level of height and volume of water in the tank is still using the traditional way that is by tapping the Toren tank and dip the water hose into the bottom of tank. The measurement of the height of the water in the Toren tank is being inaccurate and less practical. This practice also allows for the errors of estimating the height and volume of water. The problem is designed a tool to monitor the height and volume of water in the tank automatically. This measuring instrument consists of Arduino Mega 2560 board as a data processing center and ultrasonic sensor HY-SRF05 to measure the water level. The application program is also designed with Desktop-based and Android as an interface to facilitate the user in monitoring the water tank. Monitoring applications with database storage make it easy for users to monitor altitude levels and water volumes in the container tank in keeping the stock of water in the tank available. The water stock in the tank will remain intact. If the water supply in the tank is running low, the application can send automatic purchase orders by email to the water supplier. This makes Depot no longer need to schedule the time of booking to supply water.

Abstract

The process of plant irrigation can be done in an open or closed environment. Irrigation applied to the open environment such as for food production process and gardening. As for the closed environment, irrigation is usually done for the process of cultivating plants for example greenhouse. The problem raised in this research is a series of appropriate irrigation system for indoor and outdoor environment. The solution offered is the creation of two modules of automatic irrigation system that will be compared to get suitability to the application in indoor or outdoor environment. The method used is fuzzy logic with multiple input multiple output (MIMO) pattern which is assembled in a prototype model. The results obtained from this research is to determine the efficiency value between module 1 and module 2 with the result percentage of 78% better from the results of research module 2

Abstract

Nowadays, crime rate in Indonesia are increasing. People attempt crimes in many different various ways. One of the most frequent acts we met is by changing appearance, and changing their voice to trick the target. Therefore it is very important for us to know who we are talking to. Different emotions can be an obstacle for us to recognize the voice of the other person. This research is conducted to learn more about voiceprint recognition by processing emotional speech signals in Indonesian language using Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC) for its features and Support Vector Machine (SVM) to classify the features. The result suggests that the recognition can achieve about 92% of the level of accuracy.

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of an information retrieval system using the sokal / sneath equation and vector method by comparing between one system model and another. Number of documents used 100 documents taken from the internet with 10 different topics. Algorithms used include algorithm for extact, tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, term weighting and similarity calculation. An information acquisition system is a system that automatically searches for information that is relevant to user needs. Finally, in measuring the relevance of the document to the query is done using the calculation of the average precision and recall. The calculations are done manually. From the calculation of the average precision and recall will get a collection point of effectiveness later on at the end of this study will be described in graphical form. Furthermore, the graph is incorporated into several graphs of precision and recall in other related studies, for comparison in obtaining final conclusions..

Abstract

The development of technology, communication and information is an opportunity that can be used by institutions to produce quality information, quickly and easily obtained by anyone, especially their stakeholders. Institutions should take advantage of these technological advances to make it easier for their stakeholders to obtain information. Budi Luhur University is one of Education institution located in South Jakarta. Currently, complaint related to academic service is still done by providing criticism section and suggestion that limited only in working hours, so if stakeholders in this case the students want to submit complaints related to academic services submitted to the section of criticism and suggestions accommodated and then submitted to the management. Seeing these problems the authors intend to create a Design of Applications Satisfaction Mobile-Based by using PHP, API Server and Mysql Database. It is expected to help Budi Luhur University to get information from students related to the services provided. Complaint information from students can be received directly by the management, so action can be done quickly.
