Abstract

Home is a song full of harmonious tones with melancholy nuances. To be able to play a song that is full of harmonization, there are several harmony sciences that need to be mastered including understanding the structure and form of the song, understanding the harmony found in the song such as chord progressions and the types of harmony used. The purpose of this study is (1) to find out the chord progression in the Home song, (2) to find out the types of harmony in the Home song. Research location in the city of Surabaya, East Java, with the research object Home song. The data collection technique used is active participation observation. Data analysis techniques used are editing, coding, and tabulation. Based on the results of this study it can be seen that the song Home has three parts namely A1-A2-B-C, with sentences that are repeated in certain parts. There are mixed chord progressions such as regular chord progressions and unusual chord progressions, and there are 5 types of harmony in this song and several inversions in several sentences in the Home song.Keywords : Harmony, Chord progression

Abstract

It was one of the branches of musical science for exploration for its creators. However, many people do not understand how the arrangement must be worked out often by forgetting and paying no attention to the structure and aspects of the arrangements to be fulfilled. Therefore, researchers picked up one type of Chinese pop song, tian Mimi. The result of the arrangements from a surabaya musician Dyfan Alvin. Researchers use several theories - the proposed theory of analysis, structure, and elements. Researchers are also providing a qualitative, descriptive approach with interviews, observation, and data gathering.It was discovered that the tian Mimi's song arranger leads to "modern tunes" and brings the theme "pedals point". Then a change of auxiliary members (intro, interlude, koda), filled with melodic variations to changes in motive.

Abstract

Jurnal ini berjudul œBentuk Musik dan Intepretasi Sonata Piano No. 20, Op. 49 no. 2 Karya Ludwig Van Beethoven. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan struktur, serta Intepretasi musik karya Ludwig Van Beethoven. Proses penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi  data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan. Adapun uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bawha Sonata Piano No. 20, Op. 49 no. 2 karya Ludwig Van Beethoven menggunakan bentuk musik berupa Sonata Form yang terdiri dari Exposition, Development, dan Recapitulation. Dalam pembahasan mengenai intepretasi Sonata Piano No. 20, Op. 49 no. 2 karya Ludwig Van Beethoven terdapat 3 hal penting, yaitu tempo, format lagu dan harmoni.

Abstract

Concert Etude Trumpet bertempo 152bpm. Nuansa lagu ini bersifat Lincah dan Tegang. Kemudian untuk dapat memainkan lagu ini terdapat teknik yang harus dikuasai oleh pemain Trumpet anatara lain Double Tounging, Slur, Legatto, Stacatto. Lagu ini mendominasikan pada teknik Double Tounging. Karya ini telah dimainkan oleh pemain Trumpet ternama, yakni Alison Balsom. Tujuan penelitian ini (1) Untuk mengetahui teknik permainan Trumpet lagu Concert Etude Trumpet. (2) Untuk mengetahui bagian-bagian didalam lagu Concert Etude Trumpet. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data teks naratif dan penarikan kesimpulan. Abstract

Arioso song by J.S Bach is one repertoire that is usually played in the advanced stages of cello learning. Besides that, Arioso song contains techniques that presenter may often not pay attention to in playing this work. This study aims to describe the interpretation approach through cello instrument playing techniques on the song Arioso J.S Bach. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods. The research location was in the researcher's house, rented by the researcher, and in the library majoring in the Faculty of Languages and Arts. Data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation and verification. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that in this song there are various techniques that must be played to be able to produce the desired interpretation including time signature, tempo, game techniques, and ornaments

Abstract

A conductor in presenting music requires a concept or technique of how the music to be displayed becomes more beauthiful and lively. This research to describe the method and application of the technique of conducting the song "Segalariak" by Yosafat. This research uses a qualitative method. Techniques collection data are done by observation, interview and documentation. The method of interpretation used by Yosafat when interpreting the song "Segalariak" was the first to understand the form of songs, harmony, rhythm and time, tempo, song lyrics and dynamics. The interpretation in the conducting technique which is done by Yosafat on the song "Segalariak" the first stage the technique of attack carried out when the song will begin and the tempo, time and dynamics change. The two stages when singing is done when meeting dynamics. The last stage of ending the song (realese) is done when ending the song.

Abstract

The indie band Kediri varies, which is developing at this time one of them that has a pop genre is Friend Over You. The research problem formulation is (1) How is the background of the formation of Friend Over You? (2) How is Friend Over You developing? (3) What is the effort of Friend Over You in maintaining its presence in the community?. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and document studies. The results of this study: (1) Friend Over You was formed on December 13, 2013 in the form of rock formed by Achild and Riko. (2) Friend Over You works according to the times, thus changing the genre to pop. (3) Friend Over You maintains its existence by having a music label and participating in the Yowis Ben 2 Movie Promo Tour in several Cities throughout East Java.

Abstract

Abstrak: Yamaha DTX Multi 12 merupakan alat musik drum elektrik yang banyak digunakan pemain drum surabaya yang sangat memudahan untuk seorang pemain drum baik dari segi fungsi yaitu dalam satu alat mampu meng-cover alat musik perkusi dan drum sett serta musik- musik  EDM, segi ekonomis yaitu harga terjangkau dibandingkan dengan drum akustik dan miliki bentuk yang simpel sehingga mudah untuk dibawa kemana saja. Teori yang dipergunakan untuk penelitian ini yaitu teori tentang efisiensi dan teknik menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi pustaka dan studi lapangan: observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Validasi data berupa triangulasi sumber, metode teknik, analisis data : reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitihan dan pembahasan ini menunjukan bawa Pengguanan Alat Musik Multi Pad Percussion Bagi Seorang Pemain Drum berdasarkan rumusan masalah yang telah ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode, media serta materi yang bersifat pasti sehingga proses pelaksanaan penelitian ini dapat berjalan dengan lancar.

Abstract

The development of music technology came within time to time with a variety of innovations and new discoveries in music. Development grow faster in the music industry, more and more appear in musical works. Followed by the development of music, the technology is also being used, so that digital music trends are emerging. One result of development of digital music technology is speech composing. In a simple speech that compiles interpreted as a process of creativity that turns words into songs. Heiakim Music, who made the Speech Composings  song "Hotto Dogu" whose lyrics were taken from pieces of words made from sound samples using Google Translate feature (Text to Speech).

Abstract

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa lagu Adagio et Rondo Op.63 Karya J.B Singelee memiliki 3 bagian dengan total 107 birama. Bagian 1 diawali dengan tempo adagio dengan sukat 4/4 di dalam bagian 1 terdapat 1 tema dan 2 kalimat pengembangan tema yang digunakan sebagai pengembangan variasi melodi bagian 1 terdiri dari 41 birama terdapat cadenza di akhir bagian serta terdapat dengan beberapa eksperi didalamnya. Bagian ke 2 dimulai dengan tempo Allegro tetap dengan sukat 4/4 terdiri dari 10 birama dengan 1 tema dan 1 kalimat didalamnya. bagian 3 diawali dengan tempo Allegretto dengan sukat 2/4 dengan irama Rondo yang mempunya 2 tema sebagai pengembangan frase yang ada sehingga bentuk dari lagu ini ialah A-B-C. variasi melodi  yang digunakan pada lagu ini yaitu  composite melodic variation and fake, melodic variation and fake, melodic variation and fake non chordal, rhytmic variation and fake serta variasi motif melodi  yang dipakai.The results of this study indicate that the song Adagio et Rondo Op.63 by J.B Singelee has 3 parts with a total of 107 bars. Part 1 begins with the adagio tempo with a 4/4 success in part 1 there are 1 theme and 2 sentence development themes that are used as the development of variations in the melody section 1 consists of 41 bars there is cadenza at the end of the section and there are some experiments in it. Part 2 starts with the tempo of Allegro still with a 4/4 success consisting of 10 bars with 1 theme and 1 sentence in it. Part 3 begins with the Allegretto tempo with a 2/4 success with the rondo rhythm which has 2 themes as the development of the existing phrases so that the form of this song is A-B-C. melody variations used in this song are composite melodic variation and fake, melodic variation and fake, non chordal melodic variation and fake, rhythmic variation and fake and variations of the melody motif used.
