Jurnal Tathwir adalah jurnal ilmiah tentang isu-isu sosial dan perkembangan masyarakat Islam. Jurnal ini pertama kali diterbitkan pada bulan April 2009 oleh Departemen Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam (PMI), Fakultas Dakwah UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Nama Jurnal Tathwir terinspirasi dari semangat perubahan yang merupakan derivasi dari kata “tathwir” (perubahan). Jurnal ini terbit secara berkala setiap bulan April dan Oktober. Jurnal Tathwir memuat artikel-artikel dari hasil penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan kajian ilmu-ilmu sosial keagamaan.

Abstract

AbstractPolitical communication at this time, often hit by problems. Each elite expressed his sector ego - which ended in conflict. The same condition also happened during Parliamentary Democracy. The ups and downs of the cabinet - mainly triggered by communication bottlenecks that lead to a vote of no confidence. Each political opponent, trying to find weaknesses that lead to impeachment. New communica-tion can be interwoven during the Burhanuddin Harahap cabinet. This is evidenced by the success of the 1955 General Election. All political party leaders, trying to find common ground, to succeed in holding the first elections in Indonesia.

Abstract

The function of the Penghulu in Minangkabau is to maintain and prosper his people. Conflict is an obstacle to achieving the welfare goal. The headman as the leader of the Tribe has its own mechanism for managing conflict. This is driven by the values of locality to alleviate existing conflicts. Form of maintenance that strives for various conflicts that occur can be resolved by means of deliberation or commonly referred to as mediation. This article explains that in outline, the conflict is interpreted by the Minangkabau people with kusuik (tangled). Kusuik is classified according to the conditions of the individuals involved in the conflict, such as; Kusuik rambuik, Kusuik quill, kusuik banang, and kusuik tampuo nest. This conflict classification at the same time illustrates the conflict resolution that must be taken by the head to resolve it. The mechanism for the settlement was found; (1) Bulek aie ka pambuluah, bulek kato ka mufakat, (2) Koknyo singkek jan diuleh, ketek jan are stirred, bajalan luruih, bakato bana, (3) sadanciangbak stale, saciok like chicken, talungkuik eat the ground, talantang samo eat the wind; , good luck, katako, cilako, (4) nan ka finished, nan ka gadang, nan became a thorn in the dagiang, (5) sat seo ba samo ba roomy, sat down in the middle of the Sampik ba. The data was obtained through analysis of observations, interviews, and literacy based on case studies in Nagari Tabek Patah Kec. Salimpaung Tanah Datar Regency

Abstract

Charismatic of a cleric is at least visible from the extent to which Muslims are able to make these scholars as role models and role models. The charismatic is even more apparent if the cleric establishes an Islamic boarding school or has a particular congregation. Like the charismatic cleric in Padang Pariaman Syekh H. Ali Imran Hasan (1926-2017) who pioneered and managed the Nurul Yaqin light-Islamic boarding school in Nagari Pakandangan, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. The pesantren that he founded continues to grow and have branches in various regions in West Sumatra. In addition, this pesantren is proven to give birth to scholars who not only teach religious knowledge. Charismatic scholars also become agents of social change while being able to become a figure of community empowerment in the vicinity

Abstract

Powerlessness is the inability of a person or group to change their destiny either due to internal or external factors so that it affects and raises the complexity of the problem. The visualization of powerlessness if narrated can be seen in economic, social, cultural and legal aspects. The solution offered in minimizing powerlessness is empowerment, as an effort to help local people who are powerless in various aspects such as poor living (cultural and structural), unemployment, low human resources, limited natural resources and others. Empowerment is directed so that they can help themselves, or efforts to guide the community so that they consciously learn to lead themselves, solve their own problems, according to their own potential and the potential of existing local resources. This is where the opportunity for social workers (social workers) as an extension of the government or social organizations, to take part in empowerment efforts. Abstract

This paper is motivated by an increase in the activities of the community empowerment program from the previous year which prioritizes physical development, the allocation of village funds plays an important role in helping government, development and community empowerment at the village level. The implementation does not only involve village officials, but is open, mutual cooperation and involving all parties. This study aims to determine the management functions associated with community empowerment programs through the allocation of village funds in Kenagarian Aia M Sophisticated from planning, organizing, mobilizing and monitoring. The method used is a qualitative method with the data source of nagari guardians, community leaders and community members. Interview and documentation data collection techniques are processed by the step of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The first result is that planning for community empowerment programs starts from the jorong deliberations, the nagari deliberations, then the musrenbang is held for both physical and non-physical development activities. Second, the organization is marked by the existence of duties and responsibilities of each device, although it is still not optimal because there is still eg communication between village officials. Third, the application of actuating is still not optimal because there are still many people who have not been able to take part in the training because of funding and other activities occupied by the community. Fourth, supervision has been successful, but accountability and reporting are still not optimal

Abstract

Demonstrations are the arteries in a democratic country. In a democratic state system there is freedom of expression in public, one of which can be in the form of demonstrations. However, in the course of democracy still faces many obstacles in its application. Demonstrations have been and have been carried out by the people in controlling the running of the government in Indonesia, but not a few of the treatments of the demonstrators and demonstration activities have come under pressure. If demonstrations are held against the government, they are often politicized and the chain suppression is carried out. In fact, in the context of a democratic state, demonstrations are protected by the Law and there are rules. And so it is with demonstrations outside of the (anarchist) Corporations Act also has set sanctions. The method used in analyzing by collecting some reading and factual data, then analyzed how the actual position of the demonstration in a country that adheres to a democratic system. By understanding the nature of a democracy, a democratic state and demonstrations and the substance of the Tri Dharma of higher education, the demonstration is "halal" in the context of a democratic state, and that is also part of the form of community service as contained in the Tri Dharma College. So, the Demonstration is one place for students to do one of the Tri Dharma of higher education, namely "Community Service", as well as being an instrument for community empowerment
