Abstract

In this study, an application was designed to convey public aspirations for the problems and complaints felt by the community regarding communication and informatics at the Department of Communication and Information Technology of North Sumatra Province. In the analysis and definition of requirements, the process of getting all the necessary requirements from the system built is carried out in order to determine the extent to which the application can achieve the objectives of the application design, then a system design design is carried out that focuses on designing a model of an application. The results of the system design stage will then be implemented in the form of predetermined programming language codes. Finally, a system test will be carried out which aims to test whether the application can work according to the specifications of the desired needs on the background of application design. The research method used in designing this application is the waterfall model method. The purpose of using the waterfall model in designing this application is so that the work process can be carried out in well-structured stages. The results of the problem analysis were obtained from field research in the form of interviews and observations made to staff representatives from the Department of Communication and Informatics of North Sumatra Province

Abstract

Batubara is a district that has a lot of tourism potential. Many tourist attractions make it possible to attract tourists to visit, besides considering tourist attractions, of course tourists glance at the culinary places served when visiting. Food stalls, restaurants and cafes in Batubara Regency are among them. We conducted research by collecting the number of places to eat (food stalls, restaurants, and cafes) in each sub-district in Batubara Regency in 2016, 2017, and 2021 and applying the K-Means Clustering algorithm, namely grouping the number of places to eat by year. The goal is for tourists to easily find culinary places and tourists also know where to eat based on the sub-districts that are in accordance with tourist attractions in Batubara Regency. The activity of collecting data on places to eat (food stalls, restaurants and cafes) is based on practical work activities held for 1 month by applying what was learned during lectures. Later the information obtained in this research is used to see the economic development and culinary places in Batubara Regency

Abstract

A computer network is a group of computers that use communication protocols to communicate with each other and share data or information. The internet can also be interpreted as a computer network in a broader sense. The need for internet access is very high for users, making slow system performance to send data due to unstable internet conditions. Therefore, in regulating and limiting the use of internet bandwidth, it is indeed an important thing when the internet connection is limited, for example, the limited bandwidth quota from the ISP. We need to limit the bandwidth quota for each user connected to the mikrotik router. On the mikrotik router itself, there are features that can limit (limit) bandwidth, namely queue. By using the simple queue and queue tree methods, you candesigning bandwidth restrictions that make internet conditions in a company can be maintained and more stable due to bandwidth restrictions for each user who use the internet.

Abstract

The DPRD Secretariat has a problem related to archiving the personal data of the Batu Bara DPRD Members, which is sometimes difficult to access. This is because the Batu Bara DPRD secretariat still archives all DPRD member data in computer storage which is sometimes lost or even damaged due to viruses, device damage and so on, besides that data cannot be accessed from other places because it is left on the DPRD secretariat PC. The purpose of this study was to analyze and design a prototype of the Database-based Personal Data Information System for Members of DPRD Batu Bara Regency, with the HMVC (Hierarchical Model View Control) architectural method on MySQL PHPMyAdmin as the DBSM which is expected to help facilitate the creation of a database that is compatible as needed. . So that it can minimize the loss or damage of personal data for members of the Batu Bara Regency DPRD, besides that it can also be accessed anywhere without having to open the archive on the DPRD Secretariat PC.   Keywords: Analysis, Design, PHPMyAdmin, HMVC, DPRD Archives.

Abstract

Socfin Indonesia is one of the companies engaged in the plantation sector and utilizes a computer system as a medium in carrying out its activities. The devices used in this system of course require maintenance and maintenance on a scheduled basis or under certain circumstances with the presentation of maintenance reports and computer hardware repairs that are still done manually and do not have a system or go through a computerized process. To improve the system, it is necessary to have a new computer-based design system to overcome these problems. The formulation of the problem in writing this journal is how to design a computer hardware maintenance management system at PT. Socfin Indonesia using Apache NetBeans IDE 12.5. This application will be built using the waterfall model software development method with the aim that in designing this application the work process can be carried out in well-structured stages. With this in mind, the author is interested in a computer hardware management application at PT. Socfin Indonesia, where this will increase the efficiency of working time utilization.

Abstract

With computer technology, service delivery in various fields has become better, faster, more precise, accurate and efficient. In this case, computer technology has become a mandatory tool used in daily activities so that computer technology is now used in various schools, companies, agencies, including the Medan City Youth and Sports Office. The system is in the form of a web-based application that contains the criteria to be able to determine the sport according to the skills and talents possessed by students who carry out a series of tests for scouting these talents. This web-based selection of sports at the Medan City Youth and Sports Office was made using the PHP programming language and using procedural concepts, using the MySQL database management system, and tools for the DBMS using XAMPP software. PHP is a scripting language that can be embedded or embedded into HTML. PHP is widely used to program dynamic websites. PHP can be used to build a CMS. MySQL is a Relation Database Management System (RDBMS) which is distributed free of charge under the GPL (General Public License). Where everyone is free to use MySQL, but it should not be used as a commercial derivative product. This sports selection application can be accessed by admins who have full access rights to the application and can be accessed directly by prospective athletes or athlete.

Abstract

This web-based service complaint application is an application that is indispensable in the evaluation process of complaints on services. With the service complaint application, it is easier for agencies to evaluate and become more integrated in making quick decisions. Because so far service complaints are still done manually. For example, every applicant/community who wants to convey a service problem must write on a piece of paper. So that the solution to the above problems is to create a web-based service complaint application which later this system will store all service complaint data into a database, so that initially complaints were made manually to become computerized. This web-based service complaint application is an appropriate and desired application and can assist agencies in improving service quality, fixing something that has not been maximized so that the service complaint process becomes faster and more efficient, especially at the Class II Immigration Office of Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

The development of science and technology has a very important role and its development is very rapid at this time, especially in the field of computer science, many government agencies and private companies have used a computerized system for operational processes that were previously done manually into an automated system in its operation is like a data management process. As for this research, the design of a staffing data management system at the Department of Culture and Tourism of North Sumatra will be carried out, this system is made using the PHP programming language based on the website. The research method that will be used in designing this application is through a process based on the waterfall paradigm method in order to map out the stages of a well-structured basic development. This application is designed to have an impact on the progress of the Culture and Tourism Office of North Sumatra Province in the development of technology which has now entered sophisticated so that agencies need to develop the economy through technology which is expected to be able to present information accurately and accurately and use it more efficiently than the old system. .

Abstract

Balai Pemantapan Kawasan Hutan Wilayah I Medan bertanggung jawab atas berbagai tugas seperti pelaksanaan stabilitasi hutan, penilaian perubahan kondisi dan fungsi lahan, penyediaan data dan informasi sumberdaya hutan, dan pemancangan tata batas kawasan hutan diindonesia. Dalam melakasanakan tugas diperlukan alat ataupun kebutuhan lain dalam pelaksanaannya. Namun balai pemantapan kawasan hutan masih melakukan inventaris barang secara manual, adapun penggunaan teknologi hanya menggunakan perangkat lunak microsoft excel, dan cara ini kurang efektif dan efesien meningat sering terjadi masalah dalam pembuatan laporan data barang inventaris dan terjadinya penumpukan atau duplikat data. Oleh karena itu dirancang dan dikembangkan perangkat lunak berbasis web dengan metode waterfall menggunakan bahasa php yang diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan database MySQL yang nantinya akan dituangkan kedalam sistem informasi inventaris barang yang menyajikan data barang agar lebih terkontrol dalam manajemennya yang menyajikan laporan data secara efektif dan efesien.

Abstract

Balai Pemantapan Kawasan Hutan Wilayah I Medan merupakan salah satu unit organisasi pemerintah pada Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan. Dimana pimpinan serta para pegawai di BPKH I Medan sering melakukan perjalanan dinas antar kota maupun diluar kota. Pembuatan surat perintah perjalanan dinas (SPPD) di BPKH I Medan masih dilakukan secara sederhana dengan pencatatan manual dan belum menggunakan aplikasi khusus. Hal ini mengakibatkan kurang efektif dan efisien, baik dari segi materi maupun waktu, terjadi kehilangan data perjalanan dinas karena proses dan tata cara penyimpanan data yang tidak baik serta membutuhkan waktu lama jika kepala dinas membutuhkan laporan perjalanan dinas dalam waktu satu tahun maka harus membuka kembali berkas-berkas yang sudah tersimpan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perangkat lunak untuk menangani masalah tersebut. Sistem yang diusulkan yaitu Perancangan Sistem Informasi Surat Perintah Perjalanan Dinas  Berbasis Website yang di bangun dengan menerapkan metode Unified Modelling Language (UML). Dengan adanya Perancangan Sistem Informasi SPPD Berbasis Website ini maka akan mempermudah pegawai dalam pembuatan SPPD yang efektif, efisien, akurat, dan hemat waktu serta akan menjaga keamanan berkas SPPD yang mana berkas tersebut tersimpan dalam database khusus
