Abstract

This study aims (1) to determine the personality condition of students at SDIT Insan Utama Kasihan, (2) to find out the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in shaping the Muslim personality of students at SDIT Insan Utama Kasihan, (3) and to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors of Islamic religious education teachers in shaping the Muslim personality of students at SDIT Insan Utama Kasihan. This research uses a qualitative approach. His research method is a descriptive method. The data collection technique uses interview, documentation, and observation methods. The data analysis technique is the author using miles and huberman model analysis. The results of this study are (1) The personality of students at SDIT Insan Utama Kasihan is generally good, although there are still some children who behave poorly such as eating while standing, eating with their left hand, saying rude words, and littering. The personality of the students in this school, when viewed in terms of their creed, is very emphasized by their religion. When viewed in terms of worship, this school teaches its students to pray 5 times, dhuha prayers, tahajud prayers, and sunnah fasting. Furthermore, when viewed in terms of student morals, in this school, it is generally good. (2) The efforts of Islamic agam education teachers in shaping the Muslim personality of students at SDIT Insan Utama Kasihan, namely by fostering students' faith and piety to Allah SWT, directing students in the implementation of worship in schools, guiding students to have good morals, motivating students to actively study, and motivating students to aspire to the world and the Hereafter. (3) Factors inhibiting Islamic religious education teachers in shaping the muslim personality of students are the different levels of understanding of children and the lack of continuity between programs in schools and parents at home. Supporting factors are the religious school environment, the cooperation between Islamic religious education teachers and other teachers, and the existence of school programs that support the formation of students' personalities

Abstract

The study determined the predictive power of split-half attention and dual-processing in working memory on students’ learning outcome in Physics. The population for the study comprised 5138 science students in public senior secondary schools. The sample was 650 SSII students currently offering Physics as a school subject in 22 secondary schools in the study area. Three sets of instruments used for data collection were Attention Lapses Clicker (ALC), Force Concept Inventory (FCI) and Cognitive Reflection Test (CRT).  The instruments were face validated by three experts. Estimate of internal consistency was obtained through Kuder-Richardson (K-R21) for FCI with coefficient of internal consistency as 0.73. Data normalization was done using ZT-score and T-score. The data collected were analyzed using regression analysis to answer research questions and test null hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. It was spotlighted that split-half attention as well as dual-processing in working memory had significant predictive power on students’ learning outcome in Physics. Similarly, the combination of split-half attention and dual-processing in working memory had significant predictive power on students’ learning outcome in Physics. Based on these findings, it was recommended among others that Physics teachers should guide students to gain control of attention and action to facilitate and mandate encoding of stimulus into working memory for enhanced learning outcome in Physics. The information selected for students to be held in working memory should be relevant to current objectives of instructional delivery to reduce split-half attention effect and enhance learning outcome in Physics

Abstract

Abstract --The reason for this research is to find out and analyze: (1) the effect of Self-efficacy on teacher performance, and (2) the effect of learning innovation on teacher performance. The research subjects were the teachers of the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Medan City with a total sample of 298 people taken by means of stratified proportional random sampling, the data were analyzed using path analysis after calculating the correlation of all research variables in the form of a matrix. The results of the analysis of the effect of exogenous variables on endogenous variables in each substructure obtained (1) Self-efficacy has a positive effect on teacher performance by 0,121 (2) learning innovation has a positive effect on teacher performance by 0,177. The results of the study illustrate that (1) there is a positive direct influence of Self-efficacy on teacher performance by 12,1 %, and (2) there is a direct positive influence of learning innovation on teacher performance of 17,7%.

This research is motivated by circumstances where researchers see the phenomenon of a lack of student ethics during the learning process in class X Minangkabau Elementary School. The purpose of this study is to describe how the teacher's strategy in improving ethics during the learning process in class SD X Minangkabau. In this study using qualitative research methods. The informants of this study were 1 grade V elementary school teacher, 20 grade V students selected by purposive sampling. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself, with data collection techniques and the researcher was assisted by supporting instruments in the form of observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses the data reduction, data display and conclusion stages. Guarantee the validity of the data in this study using triagulation by combining 3 ways of data collection. The results of this study indicate that the strategy used by the teacher in improving student ethics during the learning process in class is by linking the PPKN material learned with everyday life, linking the BAM material studied with everyday life, linking the Ecosystem material studied with everyday life -day and using learning media.
