Abstract

Philanthropy institutions are forums for the management of zakat, infaq, and alms to utilize zakat, infaq, and alms more maximum will be managed by the Government in this case Baznas which has a collection unit up to the village level. To have the option to increase the distribution of zakat, infaq and zakat, amil zakat organizations must gain the trust of the local area. An important component of a reliable institution is the responsibility it demonstrates. Based on this, this study intends to find out how the role of the Islamic Philanthropy Institute in the delivery of ZIS in the month of Ramadan by contextual analysis in Deme 2 Village, East Sumalata Region, North Gorontalo Regency. The research method used is field research . The researcher uses aapproach phenomenological including the latest literature from library materials and journals, data is collected through observation, documents and interviews, then the data is analyzed sequentially and interactionist which consists of three stages, namely: ) Data reduction, 2) Data presentation, 3) Conclusion drawing or verification. The results of the study reveal that the existence of this philanthropic institution is very beneficial for individuals in Deme 2 Village, East Sumalata Region, North Gorontalo Regency. Through various assistance provided by the institution, it is possible to build a strengthening of the nearest network. If the beneficiary have difficulty in meeting their daily needs, after receiving the assistance provided by the agency they have the option of meeting their daily needs during the month of Ramadan and especially during the holidays. Eid Al-Fitr. So that with the assistance provided by the Institute, it can empower the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Economic activities including production, distribution and consumption are one of the ways humans meet their daily needs. Economic development is inseparable from the three economic activities, development is a multidimensional process that involves fundamental changes in social structures, social behavior and institutions. So, people can participate in the economy by creating full employment opportunities, everyone has the same abilities (equal productivity, equal access), and each behaves rationally (efficient). This study examines the Islamic economic view of the concept of entrepreneurship with an empirical literature approach, to explore the concept of entrepreneurship according to the tijarah concept contained in the Qur'an. In this study it can be understood that Islam views entrepreneurial activities as part of the work recommended in Islam to meet human economic needs. Entrepreneurial activity in Islamic view uses the equivalent of the word tijarah, there are provisions in Islam regarding the limitations that can be carried out in economic activity. Entrepreneurship that is driven by natural values ​​will become an economic activity that will be calculated before Allah, because Allah actually sees and takes into account what is done, including in economic activities

Abstract

This research aims to determine and test the effect of service quality and profit sharing on customesrs’satisfaction of Mudharabah savings in Gorontalo branch office. This is a quantitative research. The research populations were customers at PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Gorontalo Branch Office. The sample used in this research amounted to 90 customers. Primary datawerecollected through questionnaire whichwasthen processed using IBM SPSS 25 application. The data analysis method used simple regression analysis.The results indicate that there is positive and significant influence of service quality and profit sharing on Customers’ Satisfaction of Mudharabah savings at PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Gorontalo Branch Office with value of 1,178 in its significance of 0.242, and the rest is affected by other factors out of this research discussion.

Abstract

This study aims at describing the concept of al-amwal in the Qur'an which is referred to as treasure. This research focuses more on the concept of property and property ownership in the Qur'an, property as slander (trials), worldly treasures (al-hayah al-dunya), property as a means of doing good. Descriptive research method with qualitative approach is employed in this study. This present study, is a library study using maudhu’i method. Maudhu’i method is a method seeks to find the answer in the Qur'an by collecting ayahs of the Qur'an that have similar purpose, which together discuss a particular topic / title and publish those ayah in accordance with the time of thier descent in accordance with the causes of their descent, then pay attention to the ayahs with explanation, description and relationship with other ayahs. The results show that wealth (wealth) is a primary need for man to support his life in this world. The Qur'an reminds that property must be obtained through lawful manners as stipulated by the shariah law. In fact the Qur'an and the Sunnah clearly explain that property should not be transferred from one person to another through unjustified ways. In stead, it should be transferred based on the sharia, such as through trades or other lawful transactions. The use of property in Islamic teachings must always be in devotion to God and used in the framework of taqqarub (to get closer) to Allah.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: to analyze the task of nadzir in land management; to analyze the role of nadzir in the management of land in Bone Bolango Regency; and to describe the factors that affect the role of nadzir in land management. The management of land mosque in Bone Bolango district by Nadzir is clarified by two things, namely effective and ineffective. But the ineffectiveness is dominant, this is because, most nadzir in Bone Bolango district do not really understand what should be their duties, rights and obligations. The research was conducted in Bone Bolango Regency. This type of research is field research. The data sources in this research, are primary and secondary data sources. The data were collected from interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this research showed that: Nadzir's task in the management of land in Kabupeten Bone Bolango has not been carried out as much as possible by nadzir who should be in charge of managing the land. This is due to their lack of knowledge about the task of nadzir itself.

Abstract

In line with technological development, all forms of community activity have now shifted to digitalization, including payment activities. The purpose of this research is to examine and describe whether server-based electronic wallets can be a solution for multi-payment media in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 for millennial and what electronic wallets better support the needs of multi-payment in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. The method used by the researcher in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. In this study, the data obtained were analyzed using a phenomenological approach which was collected, reduced, presented, and then given a conclusion. The results of this study are that at FEBI IAIN Gorontalo there are 695 students of which 158 students use electronic wallets or about 22.73%. In use, electronic wallets can already be their multi-payment media solution in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 because of the convenience factor where students can make various payments using smartphones, fast because payments are made only by scanning a QR code, economical because admin fees are cheap and free as well as lots of promos. , flexible because it can be used anywhere and under any conditions, safe to lose money and avoid theft and supervised by Indonesian Bank

Abstract

BMT KUBE Sejahtera 036 as an Islamic microfinance institution has not only economic functions but also social functions, which is empowering the community's economy. This study aims to determine the role as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of BMT KUBE Sejahtera 036 in empowering the community's economy in Maccini Gusung. The research method used is a qualitative method with data analysis techniques from Miles and Hubberman which consists of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that BMT KUBE Sejahtera 036 played a role in empowering the community's economy through increasing customer income, enhancing the entrepreneurial spirit of the surrounding community through training and improving skills as well as providing the capital needs of MSMEs. The supporting factors of BMT KUBE Sejahtera 036 in empowering the community's economy are the right market and good service quality. In addition, programs or policies for extending payment terms and eliminating fines also increase public interest in accessing financing through this BMT. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of promotion, the emergence of other financial institutions, the implementation of financing procedures is not optimal, and the limited amount of capital.

Abstract

Money is seen not only as a legal tender (legal tender) but also seen as a commodity, money has two possibilities, namely the possibility leads to the good thing and the possibility leads to the bad thing. Both depend on the person using it. Money continues to innovate and evolve from cash to non-cash or electronic money. The emergence of crypto currencies raises pros and cons in various circles. This study aims to explain the concept of money from an Islamic perspective by analyzing crypto currencies as virtual currency. The writing method used is qualitative research using a literature review. The data taken are secondary data and data collection techniques using documentation and library studies. The results of this study explain that in Islamic economics currency must have underlying assets recognized by the government to avoid "money to money" transactions, while crypto currencies do not have underlying assets and no one is responsible.

Abstract

Paddy Farmers’ Intention to Participate in Agriculture Takaful in Sri Lanka: A case study Agriculture sector provides significant contribution to the national development thorugh economic growth. Nearly 70% of total population live in rural regions entirely or partially reliant on agriculture industry. Agriculture including paddy cultivation is the main source of income in Sri Lanka which is vulnerable sector by variety of hazards including flood, drought, heavy rain, diseases, and insect infestation. The study aims to measure paddy farmers' intention to participate in agriculture takaful. It was carried out to identify the factors using theory of planned behaviour (TPB) which consists of three aspects namely attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioural control (PBC). Primary data were collected using questionnaire survey from 160 paddy farmers who were randomly selected from Sammanthurai. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to multiple regression analysis in order to determine the relationships between exogenous and endogenous variables. The results indicate that two factors namely attitude (p=0.000) and perceived behavioural control (p=0.000) have significant influence on paddy farmers' behavioural intention. Moreover, PBC is the highest predictor while subjective norm (p=0.311) has no impact on behavioural intention. This study contributes to takaful operators and takaful marketing department for strategic policies and decision making as well.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the main problem which considers the concept of Islamic banks to be the hsame as conventional banks. This study aims to describe the effect of prevention and knowledge of Islamic banking products on the interest in becoming a customer of Islamic banks in FEBI students of the Surya Kencana University. The method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population was 581 FEBI students, so that the sample was taken by random sampling using the Slovin formula and obtained 86 respondents. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study concluded that partially the motivation to avoid usury had an effect on the interest in becoming a sharia bank customer in FEBI students. No doubt with a contribution of 21.9%. Then, knowledge of Islamic banking products affects the interest in becoming a customer of Islamic banks in FEBI Elements students with a contribution of 46.4%. Simultaneously, avoiding usury and product knowledge have an effect on interest in becoming a sharia bank customer in FEBI Element students with a contribution of 68.3% with a strong coefficient proportion. While the remaining 31.7% is influenced by other factors outside the variables not examined with a low proportion coefficient.
