Abstract

The development of technology is very useful in the education world. One of the impacts of technological developments on the education world is the development of learning media. Learning media is made as attractive as possible to increase the student’s interest which affects their learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the use of Quizizz media as an evaluation tool to increase student learning outcomes in class XI physics using static fluid using Quizizz media. The method in this study is an experiment with a Quasi-Experimental Design. The sample used in this study amounted to 80 students from a total population of 308 students who came from two classes XI science.. The sample is divided into two classes, namely experimental and control. The experimental class was treated using Quizizz media (paperless-based test), while the control class was given a paper-based test. The instrument in this research is multiple-choice questions. Before being tested on students, the validity of the instrument was tested and the results were valid. According to the results of research that has been carried out, the difference in the average pretest-post-test between the experimental class and the Quizizz treatment is higher than the control class with a value of 39.37 so it is categorized as moderate. The significance value in the post-test t-test of the two classes got a value of 0.019 which means there is a difference. To find out the improvement in physics learning outcomes for class XI static fluid material using Quizizz media, the n-gain test was carried out. Obtained a significance value of 0.008 which means it is smaller than 0.05 and the t-count is greater than t- table, therefore it can be said that the results of the hypothesis test Ha are accepted. So it can be said that the application of Quizizz media in static fluid material can affect the improvement of student learning outcomes in class XI. So Quizizz can be applied as an evaluation tool to measure students' abilities.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze the increase in students' creative thinking skills based on article reviews with the implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model. This research includes qualitative research with the type of research using library research, namely library research that uses data grouping methods and then carried out by analyzing and reviewing various relevant journals and research articles. By using analysis techniques of collection, unification and identification of secondary data obtained from several relevant studies. Based on the results of this study, it can be obtained that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model itself can improve students' creative thinking skills. In the research that has been done through library research, it was found that the students' creative thinking ability showed increasing results, including in the medium category. In this study, the increase in students' creative thinking skills was also seen from four aspects, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. This is obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the learning model that Problem Based Learning can improve students' creative thinking skills. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran peristiwa lubang hitam, dibuktikan dengan konsep gelombang gravitasi dalam teori relativitas Einstein ditinjau dari Q.S. At-Takwir ayat 15-16. Penelitian kualitatif ini mengunakan metode library research dan wawancara. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan teknik berpikir berupa teknik deduktif-komparatif. Pada penjelasan teori menggunakan teknik deduktif, sedangkan pada penafsiran menggunakan teknik komparatif. Proses penyelesaian penelitian ini membutuhkan data karya ilmiah dan wawancara sesuai topik pada penelitian, sehingga diperoleh data teoritis. Untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat, langkah yang harus dilakukan yaitu dengan mempelajari topik lubang hitam dalam prespektif Al-Qur’an dan fisika melalui data yang telah dikumpulkan. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan tafsir tokoh terkemuka yaitu Zaghlul al-Najjar dan Quraish Shihab. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa peristiwa lubang hitam yang ada di luar angkasa memang benar adanya dan sudah dijelaskan dalam Q.S. At-Takwir : 15-16. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa teori relativitas umum Einstein sangat sesuai untuk menjelaskan peristiwa lubang hitam, karena konsep dan sifat lubang hitam pada teori relativitas umum Einstein memiliki kesamaan dengan penjelasan dalam Al-Qur’an. Sifat tersebut yaitu al-khunnas atau tersembunyi, al-jawari atau bergerak cepat, dan al-kunnas atau menelan apapun yang melewatinya. Abstract

Seeing the high potential that Indonesia has in dealing with the tsunami, an effort is needed to understand and prepare in order to anticipate and reduce the impact of the disaster. To understand a disaster, it is necessary to study the concepts and basics related to disaster which includes the physical process that can be caused by the disaster. The aims of this research are (1) to analyze the implementation of Science, Environment, Technology and Society learning to improve understanding of disaster and (2) to analyze the learning outcomes of Science, Environment, Technology and Society towards disaster understanding. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental research methods. This study used a one-group design, namely a one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted at SMA Kartika Wijaya in class XI MIPA with 35 students. The results show that the teacher can implent SETS model learning well for the two observers, which is 71.87% to 76.56% for the first observer and 85.90% to 87.50% for the second observer. SETS Model learning on mechanical wave material can improve understanding of disaster. This is evidenced by the N-gain value obtained at 0.73 which is categorized as high. The findings of this study can be used as a starting point for research to examine the SETS Model learning by taking into account the positive impact of learning. Suggestions for future researchers are to use other learning models to improve understanding of disasters and to use examples of natural disasters other than tsunamis Keywords: SETS Model Learning, Understanding Disaster, Tsunami, Mechanical Waves

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu teknologi di era seperti sekarang sangatlah pesat, perkembangan ini menjadikan sebuah tuntutan baru bagi manusia agar mengikutinya sehingga tidak tertinggal. sebagai calon pendidik wajib untuk memanfaatkan kecanggihan teknologi saat ini untuk keberlangsungan dalam dunia Pendidikan. Salah satu komponen sumber belajar yang penting yaitu dengan diterapkannya sebuah media pembelajaran. Dari pernyataan tersebutlah yang memberi dukungan untuk dibentuknya e-book. Penelitian ini adalah jenis pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan dari e-book dengan aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Maker pada materi fluida statis. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, didapatkan presentase untuk validitas sebesar 89,99% dan dinyatakan valid dengan kategori sangat baik, nilai N-gain untuk keefektifan sebesar 0,84 dan bisa dikategorikan tinggi, kemudian untuk presentase nilai kepraktisan sebesar 97,03% dan bisa dikategorikan sangat baik serta praktis. Dengan ini e-book yang dikembangkan melalui aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Maker pada materi fluida statis dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk membantu kelancaran dalam pembelajaran di sekolah.
