Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the physical violence experienced by the character Biru Laut in the novel Laut Bercerita. This study used qualitative descriptive research method. The source of the data was obtained from direct quotes of conversations of Blue characters in the novel Sea of Storytelling. The findings showed that physical violence was divided into two types, namely (1) physiological violence that relies on physical conditions and, (2) anatomical violence such as kicking, pushing, slapping and so on. Bullying is an act of physical violence that must be avoided, not only harming 1 party but several parties also become victims. Abstract

Poetry is one of the standards for junior high school (SMP) students' literary abilities. In poetry, there is definitely a language style that functions to beautify the language in poetry. Likewise with poems written by class VIII A students at SMPN 27 Malang. Based on this, the aim of this research is to reveal the use of language styles in students' poetry, so that the types and forms of use of language styles are known and students' abilities in applying diction in poetry. The research used is qualitative. The data sources contained in this research are 34 poems written by students. From the results of the analysis, it was found that sixteen (16) types of language styles were obtained, with a total of 79. The language styles found include: the first is rhetorical reticence with the highest number of occurrences of around 22 data, then followed by the metaphor, hyperbole and personification language styles with 9 data, followed by the anaphora language style with 6 data. There are other language styles such as rhetorical questions and associations with 4 data each, followed by synecdoche pars pro toto and repetition with 3 data. Next there are the language styles of allegory, tautology, synecdoche totem pro parte which both amount to 2 data, then there are also the language styles of epic parable, simile, pleonasm, and alliteration which each have 1 data. The forms of language style units obtained from students' poetry are in the form of word units, sound units and sentence units. Finally, students' ability to apply denotative and connotative meaningful diction in poetry.

Abstract

Media and learning strategies encompass all aspects of lesson preparation and assessment, including assessment tools. Students have an easier time absorbing and making sense of course content when suitable media and methods are used. At MAN 3 Tulungagung, one of the Indonesian language instructors makes good use of various media and techniques to ensure that her students learn the language. The Indonesian language instructors at MAN 3 Tulungagung rely on audiovisual materials and classroom discussion to teach their students the language. It is believed that by using these media and methods, a pleasant and non-saturating learning environment will be created, which will improve the learning quality and student values, particularly when it comes to learning to write biography texts. Due to the prevalence of this issue, academics are keen to delve further into the topic of learning device selection, particularly as it pertains to the use of audiovisual media and discussion techniques. The study falls under the category of qualitative research. An X class MAN 3 Bone student is the object of this investigation. The audiovisual medium and discussion techniques are the objects of his research. The three main methods used to collect data in qualitative research are interviews, observations, and documentation. This study's analysis consists of data processing, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. It is clear from the data analysis that the Indonesian MAN 3 Tulungagung teacher can effectively use AV materials and discussion techniques to help her students learn to write biographies. Planning, executing, and evaluating are the three phases of this method's application to media.

Abstract

Critical-creative thinking is a dimension of the Pancasila student profile that needs to be improved and applied to students so that they are able to face various problems that will be faced and are able to produce original and innovative ideas and works. This research aims to find out and describe the elements of critical-creative thinking contained in the Indonesian Language Book for Class VII Merdeka Curriculum and how these elements are presented therein. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data in this research are in the form of phrases and sentences that show the critical-creative thinking dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. The data source in this research is a class VII middle school Indonesian language book. The results of the research show that all the critical-creative thinking elements of the Pancasila student profile are contained in the Indonesian Middle School class VII book. The elements of critical-creative thinking are all presented verbally through stories/reading texts, learning materials, and questions/challenges.

Abstract

This research method is qualitative in type with a focus on literature study. the loan word list book as the data source, where the loan word list book is calculated or sorted out certain elements in the data collection technique. The results of the research show that Arabic loanwords have experienced several changes in the absorption process, namely from 114 data on loanwords/levies as follows: there are 104 words in the loanword type, 2 data are classified as combined absorptions and 8 data are classified as suffix absorptions. There are differences in the rules of word formation in Arabic and Indonesian. The following are changes in categories in Arabic loan words into Indonesian, such as changes in the category of nouns to verbs such as صَوْمٌ, مَكْتُوْب . change of noun category to adjective مَغْرُوْرٌ. And in this research, the researcher will explain a phenomenon of changes in grammatical order and meaning in Arabic.
