Abstract

Abstract: This article attempts to create a reflection of the Islamic educational curriculum, and some alternative Islamic education curriculum based of multicultulral. As for some of the underlying assumptions, that the practice of teaching Islamic education was oriented toward mastery of teaching material has not been oriented toward understanding and awareness creation on respect for diversity of race, ethics, culture. Islamic Education as one of the important aspects as the formation of character, should have the concept that learing is more directed at the character formation of children and respect for cultural diversity. Thus, to Look forthe development of Islamic education curriculum model (Madrasah Aliyah) based of multicultural. Management of multicultural based Islamic education can be through several phases: content integration, the knowledge construction process, an equity paedagogy, and prejudice reduction. The focus of management of multicultural based curriculum Islamic education should be directed to find the msdel of Islamic education (Madrasah Aliyah) that can explore humanist values and universal. Islamic education learning design (Madrasah Aliyah) based mutticultural directed the efforts to form the character of the appreciation and respect for diversity of thought, concept, and culture. Development of leaming modets of Islamic education in Madrasah Aliyah multicultural-based refers to a balanced composition of matter Koran, Hadith , fiqh, aqidah, and akhlak. Abstract

Abstract: The success ofthe educational process is influenced by educational tool, in the form of rewards and punishment. Both have been implemented by teachers in the learning process from early days until now. Educators or teachers should give their best to motivate each of their students by selecting the best educational toot. Therefore, we needs a proper understanding of this concept of reward and punishment. In addition, educators may only use reward and punishment as motivation. Reward and punishment must be carried out in accordance with the principtes contained in the teachings of Islam. The use of rewards is more effective than punishment, therefore, punishment may be used when other atternatives are not able to solve problems facing children. Abstract: In the sound system between Arabic and Indonesian languages have similarities and differences. Thus, students do not always meet with difficulties in reading ora saying the words in Arabic, if they are expected to Arabic words of similar sounds in words in the Indonesian language. Therefore, the use of Arabic words tahat have been absorded by the Indonesia will be much help in learning Arabic. There are three things that will be discussed in this paper: First, the design of the use of absorption from the Arabic word as the Arabic language learning materials in school. Abstract: The condition of education in Indonesia until now is still quite alarming. Various efforts to increase and development continue to be done, but the result are still not in accordance with social hope. Modal public in the field of education (madrasah) is one that will be introduced as anew approach in education, particularly in the madrasa development that require proper handling, clear, tranparent effective, efficient, and requires a container that meets to set a benchmark for the succes and failure in implementation. Abstract

Abstract: Privatisasi adalah fenomena global yang terjadi di negera maju maupun negara berkembang. Indonesia mengikuti kebijakan privatisasi sebagai bagian dari kesepakatan antara pemerintah dengan IMF untuk pemullihan krisis tahun 1997. Salah satu bidang yang sedang dalam proses privatisasi di Indonesia adalah pendidikan, termasuk pendidikan tinggi. Privatisasi pendidikan adalah kebijakan yang keliru dan seharusnya dihentikan atas dasar pertimbangan:Pertama, pendidikan adalah barang publik (public goods) dan merupakan bagian dari HAM sehingga tidak bisa diprivatisasi. Kedua, privatisasi dapat melemahkan otonomi, karena perguruan tinggi dapat dikontrol oleh investor asing dan lembaga donor. Ketiga, privatisasi memperlemah kekuatan masyarakat sipil (civil society) karena posisi yayasan, tokoh masyarakat, organisasi social dan kegamaan yang mendirikan perguruan tinggi akan diganti oleh investor. Keempat, privatisasi menyebabkan biaya pendidikan tinggi menjadi mahal, sehingga masyarakat tidak bisa belajar di perguruan tinggi. kelima, privatisasi dapat menurunkan kualitas akademik perguruan tinggi khususnya pada bidang humanity, ilmu sosial, dan riset. Keenam, privatisasi yang notabene bagian dari kebijakan neoliberalisme bertentangan dengan Pancasila dan UUD 45 yang berpaham welfare state yang mewajibkan negara memenuhi hak pendidikan warga negaranya. Kata kunci: Privatisasi, Komersialisasi, Pendidikan, Perguruan Tinggi, Hak Asasi Manusia.

Abstract

Abstract: In the course of the history of Islamic education,Islamic schools as institutions of Islamic education was not as expected. One side, in terms of religion, alumni are not able to compete with graduates of boarding schools and on the other hand, in terms of general science, can not compete with public schools. So too, madrasas in education and learning are not in line with communitlr interests, and can not solve the problems faced by society. There has been a "dehumanization" in the practice of education in madrasas. Therefore, to liberate the madrasa education from the process of "dehumanization", as well as for education in accordance with the interests of society, the madrasa education should be society-based (popular) to instilt a spirit critical of social phenomena. Therefore, the critical educational needs in the learning process, cooperation between the madrasas with the community and always do the renewal of the retigious doctrines which have been shallowed. Abstract

Abstrak: Pengajaran bahasa Inggris untuk orang dewasa memerlukan pendekatan khusus krena kondisi orang dewasa yang unik dengan berbagai persoatan baik psikologis maupun daya tangkapnya. Di samping itu, kemampuan pembelajaran mandiri juga mungkin kembangkan sebagai alternatif untuk mencapai hasil pembetajaran yang maksimall. Untuk itu dibutuhkan suatu jembatan pemahaman, atau dialog antara pengajar dengan pembelajar. Dengan demikian, dialog sebenarnya bukan sekedar proses yang terjadi secara natural dalam proses pembelajaran tetapi merupakan aspek kegiatan yang harus didesain sebagai bagian integral dari strategi pembelajaran bahasa bagi orang dewasa. Abstract

Abstract: As universal system of values, Istam does not tend to support any descrimination based sn any kinds of social differences, i.e. cultrure, religion, and gender. Islm actually acknowledges human differences. However, they are not seen as social basis for descrimination but as a way to construct just culture and structure within pluralistic people so all people live together harmoniously. In the case of gender equity in ruting education, female has opportunity and great potens to success in ruting education since the education buitt within inclusive gender paradigma. This paper tries to promote alternative way in understand texts within sociohistorical contexts concerning the female chance to be principle for education. Abstract

Abstract: For pesantren as a system of education has many problems in facing globalization, many efforts should be done. Among many, curriculum of pesantren becomes the most important aspects to be reconstructed within global perspective since curriculum as one of the most fundamental rute in handling the process of education. Therefore, this paper actually tries to elaboraate the problem of pesantren curriculum in facing globalization and then tries to promote alternative model of curriculum construction. Using sosio-historical perspective, the alternative mcdel oi curriculum reconstruction is done by integrating between both traditional and modern system of education. Abstract

Abstract: For Soekarno, Islamic education, as education in general is an arena to sharpen the mind, sharpen the mind, and develop the intellect. Soekarno said that the essential motor of the rethinking of Islam is the return of respect for reason. In addition, islamic education witi be able to grow and move forward if there is a position of equatity between women and men, teachers who are quatified and actually able to become an educator (not just teachers) are constantly thinking about the progress of their students to be able to face her future, and the presence of education system that is mutuatism. Mutual interaction led to a creative, critical, promote dialogue, as well as distance learners from an authoritarian cutture. Keywords : Soekarno, Islamic education, modernization.
