Abstract

The condition of patients who are treated in intensive care causes families to become depressed and feel anxious. This study aims to describe the level of anxiety of families of inpatients in the General ICU room of St. Antonius Hospital Pontianak, This research method is quantitative using a descriptive design, The population in this study is the family of patients treated in the General ICU room of St. Antonius Hospital Pontianak with a sample of 42 people and the sampling technique in this study uses accidental sampling. The results showed that almost half of the respondents, namely 17 people (41%) had mild anxiety, as many as 11 people (26%) were seriously anxious, a small percentage of 7 people (17%) were not anxious, a small part of 6 people (14%) were moderately anxious, and a small part of 1 person (2%) was panicked. Families of patients admitted to the ICU mostly have mild anxiety. Future suggestions for nurses to approach psychologically, as well as improve skills in conducting behavioral therapy to reduce anxiety.

Abstract

In the intensive care unit of Santo Antonius Hospital Pontianak with  p value = 0.00 Family members will experience anxiety when facing one of the family members who is admitted to the ICU. Anxiety in the family can interfere with the patient's treatment process, because anxiety can cause stress in the family that can affect treatment support.  Method: This study is a quantitative research that uses a correlative descriptive design with a cross sectional design. Sampling sampling technique  with Total Sampling of 41 people. Croncbach's Alpha validity test result of 0.901 and proven reliable with > result of 0.6 Result: Most of the respondents (56.1%) had good knowledge about treatment in the ICU of St. Antonius Hospital Pontianak. Almost half of the respondents (36.6%) experienced mild anxiety because their families were treated at St. Anthony's Hospital. The results of statistical tests using Chi Square and the level of significance (α) 0.05 were obtained There is a relationship between knowledge about patient care and the level of family anxiety in the intensive care unit room of St. Antonius Hospital Pontianak with a   p value = 0.001. Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge about patient care and the level of family anxiety.

Abstract

Surgical Safety Checklist (SSC) is a patient safety procedure in the form of a checklist created by WHO as the basis for actions carried out by the surgical team. The aim is to find out an overview of the Implementation of the Surgical Safety Checklist. This research is quantitative descriptive observational. Checklist sheet instrument. Sample of 69 surgical patients using accidental sampling technique. The results of more than half of the implementation of SSC, namely 41 operations (59.4%) were in the poor category because the surgical team was less consistent in carrying out SSC in each phase, namely more than half of the implementation of sign-in, 39 operations (56.5%) were insufficient, the implementation of time out was 35 surgery (50.7%) was lacking and the implementation of sign out was 45 operations (65.5%) lacking. Conclusion: The implementation of the Surgical Safety Checklist in the Central Surgical Unit at Santo Antonius Hospital Pontianak is in the poor category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several reasons, including: Firstly, at this time, there are philosophical foundation errors applied by educational institutions, namely that education in Indonesia is generally influenced by a Western paradigm that tends to be secular. Secondly, it is time for the Muslim community to apply educational principles based on Islamic teachings derived from the Quran and the Sunnah. As for the writing method, this study uses a normative philosophical descriptive analytical method that is adjusted to literary sources. The research results indicate that Islamic education is based on the concept of tawhid, which is an effort to effectively apply the values of Islam that can bring about a transformation of values and knowledge in its entirety to individuals, society, and the world in general, in accordance with transcendent values.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition where the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin levels in red blood cells is below the level that is considered normal. Knowledge can be increased through nutrition education and can be assisted by the media. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of nutrition education on knowledge about anemia prevention using flipchart media among junior high school students at the Istiqomah Islamic boarding school in Samarinda. Pre-experimental research design with One Group Pretest-Posttest design with 55 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test with a p-value of 0.001 which shows that there is a difference in the level of female students' knowledge before and after being given education using flipchart media on female students' knowledge at the Istiqomah Samarinda Islamic Boarding School, so that there is an influence of nutrition education using flipchart media on female students' knowledge about preventing anemia.

Abstract

This research aims to develop PAK (Christian Religious Education) Learning Tools Based on Local Culture in PAUD Sangkakala, Parmaksian District. This research is a type of development research or research and development (R&D). Data is described quantitatively which seeks to develop viable and effective products that are used in learning. The product developed in this research is a learning plan based on local Toba Batak culture and its evaluation. The theory referred to in this development research is the ADDIE development model with the following stages: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation and 5) Evaluation. The results of the research are as follows: 1) Sangkakala PAID Teachers in Parmaksian District need local culture-based PAK learning tools, 2) The model developed begins with compiling 4 RPH (Daily Implementation Plans), media and learning evaluations based on local Toba Batak culture, 3) Based on the validation results of the revised model are suitable for use. 4) The results of implementation and evaluation show that learning tools can be used effectively and efficiently at the age of 4-5 years.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of Leadership and Work Motivation partially and together on Employee Performance, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant influence between Leadership and Work Motivation partially and together on Employee Performance. This research uses descriptive and inferential quantitative methods. The research population was all IAKN Tarutung employees, totaling 113 people with a sample of 43 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire, which was prepared by the researcher based on research variable indicators. The results of data analysis show: 1). Obtained a coefficient of determination of 45.15% and Fcount>Ftable, namely 33.22>4.08, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between leadership on employee performance of 45.15%; 2). Obtained a coefficient of determination of 36.12% and Fcount>Ftable, namely 22.95>4.08, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between work motivation on employee performance of 36.12%; 3). Obtained a multiple correlation coefficient of R = 0.729 and a multiple determination coefficient of 53.14%, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between leadership and work motivation together on employee performance of 53.14%, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded Leadership and work motivation influence the performance of IAKN Tarutung employees positively and significantly because they have been empirically tested. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of professionalism on employee performance, Spiritual Intelligence on Employee Performance, Professionalism and Spiritual Intelligence on Employee Performance. This research uses descriptive and inferential quantitative methods. The research population was all IAKN Tarutung employees, totaling 113 people with a sample of 40 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire, which was prepared by the researcher based on research variable indicators. The questionnaire trial was carried out on 30 IAKN employees who were not research samples, and was tested using validity and reliability tests. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it can be concluded that professionalism and spiritual intelligence influence the performance of IAKN Tarutung employees positively and significantly because they have been empirically tested. The implication is that if performance is to be improved, it can be done through professionalism and spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the influence of using audio-visual media on student learning motivation, the influence of PAK teachers' professional competence on students' learning motivation, and the influence of using audio-visual media and PAK teachers' professional competence together on students' learning motivation. Research with a quantitative descriptive inferential approach. The population of all class X students at SMA Negeri 1 West Sorkam for the 2023/2024 academic year is 300 people. The sample was determined using a random sampling technique of 15%, namely 45 people. The research was analyzed in the following steps: 1) testing the analysis requirements for the relationship between X1 and Y, obtained rcount=0.634>rtabel=0.294, the relationship between 2) Hypothesis testing shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence of the use of audio-visual media on the learning motivation of class There is a positive and significant influence between the professional competence of Religious Education teachers on the learning motivation of class.
