Abstract

Abstrak:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses metakognisi mahasiswa calon guru dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Melalui wawancara mendalam peneliti menggali tentang hal-hal yang mempengaruhi terjadinya proses metakognisi subjek. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas HKBP Nommensen yang bergaya kognitif reflektif dan yang bergaya kognitif impulsif. Untuk menentukan gaya kognitif reflektif-impulsif digunakan Matching Familiar Figure Test. Masalah matematika dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari masalah matematika formal dan masalah matematika kontekstual. Data yang sudah valid dianalisis dengan memperhatikan bagaimana proses metakognisi subjek terhadap permasalahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses metakognisi subjek yang bergaya kognitif reflektif berbeda dengan proses metakognisi subjek yang bergaya kognitif impulsif, baik dalam masalah matematika formal maupun matematika kontekstual. Kata kunci: metakognisi, pemecahan masalah, gaya kognitif TEACHERS’ CANDIDATE METACOGNITION THAT HAS REFLECTIVE AND IMPULSIVE COGNOTIVE STYLE IN SOLVING MATHEMATIC PROBLEM Abstract: The purpose of this research was to describe the college students’ metacognition as a teacher candidate in solving mathematic problem. This research was explorative with qualitative approach. By doing deep interviewing method, the researcher found out the causes that affected the subject’s metacognition. The subject of research was the college students as teacher candidate in Mathematic Department in Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Nommensen University that had reflective and impulsive cognitive style. To determine reflective and impulsive cognitive style, it used Matching Familiar Figure Test. The problem in this research was consisted of two, namely formal and contextual mathematic problem. The valid data has been analyzed by referring how the subject metacognition process in solving the problem. The result showed that the subject metacognition process with reflective cognitive style is different with impulsive cognitive style, even in formal or contextual mathematic problem. Keywords: metacognition, problem solving, cognitive style

Abstract

The root of the problem in this study is the fact that student learning achievement is less satisfying, and learning that has occurred so far does not involve emotional intelligence. The problem in this study is "how is the process and results of developing a learning model that involves the emotional quotien of qualified lecturers and students?" The purpose of this study is to obtain a quality learning model (valid, effective and practical) through a development process. The development phases used are: the initial investigation phase, the development phase, the realization phase and the testing, evaluation and revision phase. In Trial I (subject 35 people), the learning model was not effective, not yet practical even though it was valid, so it was revised. After the learning model was revised, another trial II was conducted. In Trial II (subject 38 people), the learning model was still not effective and practical so it was revised again. After the learning model was revised, trial III was conducted. In Trial III (bubject 38 people), a quality learning model was obtained with syntax: (1) emotional apperception, (2) construction of knowledge, (3) independent practice and (4) recitation. One of the results obtained in this study is that learning using the developed learning model has an impact on the achievement of student learning completeness.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Kristen tidak lekang oleh waktu. Memang telah terukir sejarah yang Panjang akan hal ini. Dalam dalam kajian ini penulis memaparkan perihal Pendidikan Agama Kristen di masa lalu, masa kini dan dalam persfektif masa depan, dimana tantangan terhadap pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Kristen semakin kompleks. Bukan hanya dalam lingkup PAK di gereja, melainkan juga dalam PAK di sekolah dan PAK dalam keluarga. Dalam kenyataannya, teori yang ideal memang tidak serta merta bisa dipraktekkan dengan baik. Demikian juga dengan teori tentang Pendidikan Agama Kristen, dimana selalu saja ada kendala, hambatan, tantangan dan fakta yang tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Hal-hal apalah yang bisa ditempuh untuk menghasilkan sebuah layanan yang bisa menjawab kebutuhan? Itulah yang coba dipaparkan oleh penulis dalam riset ini, untuk bisa menjawab masalah-masalah yang melatar belakangi riset ini. Melalui penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil yang akhirnya bisa dipakai menjdi acuan dan menjadi bahan study lanjutan perihal bagaimana mengelola pelaksaanaan pendidikan agama Kristen dan mempersiapkan diri untuk tidak tertinggal atau digilas peradaban yang semakin canggih ini

Abstract

Education is an activity to educate a nation. Formal education is a tiered and structured education consisting of basic education, secondary education and higher education. Educational institutions (schools) must be managed properly, so that the goals of school education can be achieved. The purpose of this study was to determine how the management of education based on heart management at SD Negeri 173529 Tampahan, Toba Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study are that in school management, leadership is needed from a school principal. In addition to leadership, a school principal becomes an innovator, motivator and entrepreneur (entrepreneur). In management, innovation in management of the heart is also needed,

Abstract

Managerial competence is the ability to manage resources through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling activities to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. The principal as a manager in educational institutions must have managerial competence of his teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of principasl managerial competence on teacher performance. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. Quantitative problems more generally have large areas, complex levels of variation but are located on the surface. The research results obtained are a correlation between the principal’s managerial competence and teacher performance. The higher the managerial competence of a principal, the higher the teacher’s performance.

Abstract

Educational governance is a process of planning, organizing, directing, monitoring, and evaluating education so that it can achieve the educational goals that have been determined effectively and efficiently. Professional teachers will greatly affect the achievement of the quality of education. The purpose of this research is to find out how professional teacher governance can improve the quality of education. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method using a literature review by collecting sources relevant to the topic of discussion or problems. The results of this study found a significant effect of professional teachers with improving the quality of education.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPeningkatan kualitas pendidikan ditentukan oleh kinerja guru dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai pendidik. Kinerja guru berkaitan dengan tugas perencanaan, pengelolalan pembelajaran dan penilaian hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada guru SMA se-Kabupaten.Tiba Sumatera Utara. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan random sampling, sehingga dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 150 guru. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa TQM dan bentuk kepemimpinan tranformasional kepala sekolah dapat memengaruhi kinerja guru. Kondisi tersebut juga diperkuat dengan self efficacy yang dimiliki oleh guru tersebut.Kata Kunci: total quality management (TQM), kepemimpinan transformasional, kinerja guru, teacher self efficacy ABSTRACTImproving education quality is determined by teachers' performance in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as educators. Teacher performance is related to planning, managing learning, and assessing student learning outcomes. This research is included in descriptive quantitative research. This research was conducted on high school teachers throughout Tiba Regency, North Sumatera Province. The sampling technique in this study was using random sampling, so this study 150 teachers were used. The data analysis technique in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that TQM and the principal's form of transformational leadership can affect teacher performance. Abstract

Keberhasilan dalam mentransformasi sebuah pendidikan tinggi ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi lagi, merupakan sebuah pencapaian yang luar biasa. Transformasi ini membutuhkan nilai akrediasi yang unggul melalui Laporan Evaluasi Diri (LED). Salah satu komponen dalam LED adalah mutu dan kualitas tridarma. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi dosen IAKN Tarutung terhadap akuntabilitas LPM dalam menjamin mutu penelitian dan PkM. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dosen IAKN Tarutung dengan usia 28-40 tahun sebanyak 50 orang atau sekitar 30%. Pertanyaan survey melalui google form diklasifikasian kedalam 8 kategori. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan keinginan dan kepedulian para dosen untuk pelaksanaan penelitian dan PkM sudah sangat baik. Akan tetapi kapabilitas kepemimpinan dalam memberikan motivasi masih dalam kategori cukup. Motivasi berupa ketersediaan sarana dan prasana, pemberian insentif peneliti, keterlibatan pihak eksternal, transparansi kompetisi, ketetapan regulasi, serta keterlibatan LPM dalam pengawasan perencanaan, pengawasan porses, pengawasan isi, evaluasi dan pelaporan, dan pengawasan standar pelaksana.

Abstract

Improving Students' Understanding of the Value of Places Through Demonstration Methods in Students of Class IV-C Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul School Year 2022/2023. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students' understanding of the material of place values through the Demonstration method so as to improve student learning outcomes in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. This class Action Research was conducted in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The type of action in this study is in the form of concrete actions, namely guiding students in the implementation of learning activities through the Demonstration method. The research was conducted in semester I, precisely in September-November 2022. This classaction research sub j ek is students in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul Humbang Hasundutan Regency with a total of 4 students. The results showed that students' understanding of the venue value material increased after applying the Demonstration method thereby improving student learning outcomes. The average student learning outcomes increased after applying the Demonstration method to the Place Value material, where the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 45.00 increased to 80.00 in cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the cognitive processes of students in solving mathematical problems. This research is a qualitative exploratory research. Researchers explore things that affect the occurrence of the subject's cognitive processes through in-depth interviews. Subjects were selected based on the results of the study of learning styles. The subject of this research is one student with visual, one auditory, one kinesthetic and one tactile learning styles. To investigate student learning styles, the interpretation of Perceptual Learning Style elements is used. The stages of problem solving in this research are to understand the problem, make a plan of completion, complete according to plan and look back. Mathematical problems from story problems and proof problems. Data from interviews and written work that have been valid were analyzed by examining how the subject's cognitive process towards the problem. The results showed that there were differences in the cognitive processes of visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile subjects in solving mathematical problems, both in story problems and in proof questions.
