Abstract

This research is a development research (Research & Development) which aims to: determine the feasibility of developing a mathematics module based on Papuan local wisdom in class XI students of SMA Negeri 9 Raja Ampat. The development of this module, the researcher refers to the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) with an experimental design using a pre test post test one group design, which uses one research class with a sample of 24 students. The module is developed through 5 stages, namely curriculum and needs analysis, module design, module development, testing the module on a small and wide scale and evaluating the module. Material validation results obtained 92.05% and media validation results with 89.18% meaning that the module is suitable for use in learning by revising. Data analysis results using SPSS 26 for a small scale there are 15 valid questionnaire questions from 20 questions, and the average percentage is 90.21, the reliability value is 0.935, this shows that the questionnaire instrument has a very high level of reliability. The large-scale test for students in class XI is 91.41%, meaning that this module is feasible and effective in improving learning outcomes in geometry transformation material. The n-Gain in the four lesson plans is 0.71, which means that the use of mathematics modules based on Papuan local wisdom is very effective in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui (1) Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui metode eksperimen dengan metode ceramah adanya perbedaan terhadap keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA pada konsep kemagnetan di SMAN 1 Sentani. (2) Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui metode eksperimen dengan metode ceramah adanya perbedaan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA pada konsep kemagnetan di SMAN 1 Sentani (3) Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui metode eksperimen dengan metode ceramah adanya peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA pada konsep kemagnetan di SMAN 1 Sentani. Desain yang digunakan adalah jenis “Non equivalent group pretest-posttest design”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Pada penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui metode eksperimen dengan metode ceramah terhadap keaktifan peserta didik pada konsep kemagnetan di SMAN 1 Sentani ada perbedaan dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05. (2) Pada penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui metode eksperimen dengan metode ceramah terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada konsep kemagnetan di SMAN 1 Sentani ada perbedaan dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) 0,002 < 0,05. (3) Pada penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui metode eksperimen dengan metode ceramah terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada konsep kemagnetan di SMAN 1 Sentani menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar yang sangat baik dengan persentase n-gain tinggi 48%, sedang 50% dan rendah 2%.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Metode Ceramah, Metode Eksperimen, Keaktian siswa, Hasil Belajar Fisika

Abstract

This study is a Research and Development (R&D) which aims to develop bilingual physics module and determine the effectiveness of the use of the module in the learning process. The phase included preliminary study (define), program designing (design) and development (develop). There were two trials used to determine the effectiveness of the modules. The first is limited trial (pre-experimental) with design “one group pretest-posttest control design” and the second is the extensive trial (quasi-experimental) using “nonequivalent group pretest-posttest design”. The experiment was conducted SMAN 3 Jayapura for grade X, for limited trial uses only grade X1(33 student), while for extensive trial used two parallel classes i.e., grade X2 as experimental class (31 student) and grade X3 as control class (32 student). At the experimental class learning used the module and the control class learning did not use the module. N-gain analysis and t-test were used to know the effectiveness of the module use. N-gain at the experiment class is 0,72 while N-gain at control class is 0,47. The result shows that learning using the module is more effective than learning without using the module. Specialty of modules generated in this study have a complete and systematic structure, the discussion has focused coverage and scalable, have a sample in accordance to local approaches, and completely with a worksheet. In the implementation of the field still found weaknesses, those are lack of sample questions and a glossary of English for science. Keywords: development, module, and effectiveness.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive research has two types of data resources, namely primary data and secondary data. The primary data were the result of the interview from the data resources which determined through the purposive sampling technique.  The primary data were obtained from the headmaster, teachers, administrative staff, school committees, and students. While the secondary data includes textbooks,   school documents, journals, theses, dissertations, internet sites, which related to the implementation of the principal's management functions in improving the quality of education. Data were collected through in-depth interview techniques with informants, observation, and documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher applied the qualitative descriptive techniques based on Miles and Huberman theory namely data reduction, data exposure, and data verification. There are two objectives of the research, they are 1) to describe the implementation of planning function and 2) to describe the implementation of the actuating function of the principal in improving the quality of education at Hedam Inpres State Elementary School in Abepura, Jayapura. The study revealed that 1) the principal of Hedam Inpres State Elementary School in Abepura, Jayapura has implemented the planning function properly and 2) The actuating function of the school principal had not been implemented yet. Keywords: Principal Management Functions, Planning, Actuating, Quality of Education

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out (1) To know the influence of active learning strategy video critic to students’ attention on the subject material global warming in grade VII of SMP Muhammadiyah Jayapura. (2). To know the influence of active learning strategy video critic to students’ learning result on the subject material global warming in grade VII of SMP Muhammadiyah Jayapura. The kind of the research is quantitative.The  research design used is Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population is all students grade VII of SMP Muhammadiyah Jayapura. The taking of sample is conducted with the technique of purposive sampling. And class VII D as the class control and VII D as class experiment. The instruments used are survey, observation, and objective test questions. The data is analyzed with the simple regression test. The result of the researchshows that : (1) There is significant influence to students’s attention in following learning process by using active learning strategy of video critic with the score of is bigger than  (2,90>2,045). (2) There is significant influence between the students’ learning result in the class experiment by using the active learning strategy video critic with the score of is bigger than  ( 2,292>2,045).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui: (1) Model pembelajaran tipe NHT lebih efektif daripada tipe TPS. (2) Siswa motivasi belajar tinggi lebih efektif daripada siswa dengan motivasi sedang dan rendah (3) Interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar siswa. (4) Peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe TPS dan tipe NHT. Sampel yang diambil yaitu kelas VII A dan VII B dengan jumlah siswa 60 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe NHT lebih efektif daripada yang diajar dengan tipe TPS dengan selisih rata-rata nilai 0,16. (2) Hasil uji analisis anava menunjukkan Fobs = 115,85 dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang mempunyai motivasi tinggi lebih efektif daripada siswa dengan motivasi sedang dan rendah, serta siswa yang mempunyai motivasi sedang lebih efektif daripada siswa motivasi rendah. (3) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran tipe TPS dan model pembelajaran tipe NHT pada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi tinggi, sedang maupun rendah terhadap hasil belajar matematika F =1,58 > Ftabel=0,215. (4) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe TPS dan tipe NHT, diperoleh n-Gain sebesar 0,34 pada kategori sedang.Kata kunci: TPS, NHT, Motivasi, Hasil Belajar Matematika, Bilangan Bulat

Abstract

This research is quasi research which its aim to see the influence of using cooperative learning Method Student Teanis Achievement to activity and student learning result. The population of this research are students grade XI sains one to grade XI sains five in SMA 1 Manokwari.. The research result so learning with using cooperative method STAD can increase learning result in reaction rate material than convensional learning. The angket analyze of activity show that experiment class and control class. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SD Inpres Dekai. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain satu variabel independen dan satu variabel dependen, dengan populasi sebanyak 50 guru SD yang sudah diangkat sebagai pegawai negeri sipil dengan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 25 orang. Pengumpulan data didapat melalui angket kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan angket kinerja guru yang sebelumnya sudah diuji validasi terlebih dahulu. Teknik analisa data menggunakan SPSS versi 16. Hasil uji normalitas data diperoleh X2hit  untuk variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah 4,400 dan kinerja guru 7,640, dengan taraf signifikan hitungnya < 11,070 artinya data normal. Hasil Uji Regresi X terhadap Y menunjukkan sig hitung < 0,05 yaitu dengan dengan nilai 0,000 dengan persamaan Y = 3,195 + 0,960X yang berarti menerima Ha dan menolak H0. Hasil analisis korelasi X terhadap Y memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dengan nilai 0,974. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru IPA di SD Inpres Dekai Kabuoaten Yahukimo sebesar 0,974 dan pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru IPA di SD Inpres Dekai Kabupaten Yahukimo sebesar 97,4 %. Kata Kunci : Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Guru

Abstract

Science learning modules on soil material and life sustainability have never been made especially in SMP Negeri 2 Manokwari. This research is a research and development (Research & Development) that aims to find out how to make integrated science modules, the feasibility of integrated science modules, and increase learning outcomes in soil material and the sustainability of life. The research sample was carried out in class IX E SMP Negeri 2 Manokwari with a total of 38 students. The results of the study show that: 1) The method of developing an integrated science module based on guided inquiry on soil material and life sustainability starts with the stages of definition, module planning, module draft design, and development. from the validator of 88% in the very feasible category, science teachers by 90% in the very feasible category, and the results of small-scale trials by 89%. 3) Increasing student learning outcomes with an average pretest score of 35.72 to 71.11 in the posttest and n-gain tests an average of 0.55 in the medium category.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the application of the method to focus Andragogy the level of education, active labor and the harvest on Integrated Pest Management Field School (FFS) in District Aimas Sorong Regency. Implementation of this research was conducted in three groups of farmers in the district forward Aimas ie farmer groups of 25 people, farmer groups and the border of the farmer 25 farmer groups Rukun Wargi 25 people that totaled 75 people. This research is experimental real. For the regression test results of this study indicate that there is a significant contribution between andragogy methods the education level of 0.4%, a simple regression test results showed that, Andragogy method to work activeness of 1.2%, while for methods of andragogy against varabel harvest rice result of 45.7%. Based on the results of this study concluded that there is the influence of the simultaneous application of the method Andragogy the level of education, active labor and the harvest on Integrated Pest Management Field School (FFS) in District Aimas Sorong Regency.
