Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Ushuluddin (e-ISSN 2774-8340) is a peer-reviewed journal that is published by the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This Journal publishes current original research on religious studies and Islamic studies using an interdisciplinary perspective, especially within Islamic Theology (Ushuluddin) studies and its related teachings resources: Religious studies, Islamic thought, Islamic philosophy, Quranic studies, Hadith studies, and Islamic mysticism. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The review process employs a double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the ethical value of being a neighbor. This research method employs a qualitative kind through library studies and field studies with a design thinking hadith approach. The results and discussions of this study include the ethic of neighboring life, the Prophet’s exemplary inspiration of a neighboring life, and the ethical development innovation in a neighboring life. This study concludes that the hadith has an inspiring message to foster the ethic of living next door through simple things to create harmony for human life.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the inspiration of the hadith of the Prophet in the implementation of counseling. This research method is qualitative through literature and field studies with the hadith thinking design approach. The results and discussion of this study include counseling during the pandemic, the Prophet Saw. role models in counseling, and innovations in Islamic counseling services. This research concludes that the hadith of the Prophet. has inspirational messages in a creative counseling process on Islamic counseling services through media platforms that are widely used in the contemporary era.]]>

Metode penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif melalui studi Pustaka dan studi lapangan dengan pendekatan design thinking. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini meliputi peran dan tanggung jawab pemerintah dalam memenuhi hak-hak dasar warga negara inspirasi keteladanan Nabi dalam konteks kepemimpinan dan pemerintahannya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa hadis Nabi Saw. memiliki pesan-pesan inspiratif dalam menumbuhkan nilai-nilai normatif terhadap para penguasa di pemerintahan.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine Ushul al-Khamsah Mutazilah (at-Tauhid, al-'Adl, al-Wad wa al-waid, al-Manzilah Baina al-Manzilatain, Amr Maruf Nahy Munkar) in the view of the Tebuireng ulama who is from the Ashariyah. The research method used qualitative with the type of field research to obtain data and kalam science as an umbrella for theory and analysis. The results and discussion of this research include the Mutazilah theology, the concept of Ushul al-Khamsah Mutazilah and the views of the Tebuireng ulama, while the ulama of Terbuireng believes that the concept of Ushul al-Khamsah in Mutazilah theology is more applicable in life and looks more at the anthropocentric side. This research concludes that the Tebuireng ulama are more personally adapted to using theology in their social and religious life in the community, judging from which it brings benefits to themselves and society.]]>

<![CDATA[The research objective was to analyze the phenomenon of floods and landslides in the perspective of perennial philosophy. The method used in this research is a type of qualitative research through literature study. The results of this study indicate that in the perspective of perennial philosophy, various disaster phenomena such as floods and landslides are caused by human behavior that has been arbitrary towards nature. Especially, with the development of modern science and technology that has encouraged humans to exploit massively natural resources, thus losing the balance in nature. Excessive exploitation of nature causes nature to be damaged and in the end there are terrible disasters. The conclusion from the research is that various natural disasters such as floods and landslides that occur in the midst of Indonesian human life can be viewed from the perspective of perennial philosophy. This research recommends the importance of preserving nature. Besides that, the importance of reviewing and dismantling modern science has killed perennial metaphysics which shows the essence of divine reality in life and mind.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the ethics of decorated with the Tafsir Al-Munir perspective. This research method is qualitative through literature study with a sociological approach. The results and discussion of this research include the understanding of ethics, the meaning of the Tafsir Al-Munir, and the ethics decorated with the perspective of Tafsir Al-Munir on sociological analysis. This research concludes that decorating is a necessity of human life that must be equipped with ethics. The ethics inherent in decorative activities can give rise to good views from the surrounding environment to create collective goodness in the sphere of social life. This study recommends that further research be carried out related to ethics and decoration based on other interpretive perspectives.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to discuss the implementation of gender equality in Indonesia. The research method is a qualitative type through literature study by applying content analysis. This research discusses the meaning, gender equality of Alquran perspective, and implementation in Indonesia. This research concludes that in the fields of education, law, family and government policies, gender equality gas been implemented. However, the issue of gender equality has not yet become mainstream so that it affecs the case of divorce in Indonesia. This research is only limited to the implementation of gender equality in Indonesia in several fields or sectors so that further research is needed in other fields. This research recommends the socialization of the concept of gender equality in the framework of Alquran to both men and women so that people get a complate understanding and create harmony.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hadith perspective on cleanliness. This research is a qualitative type by applying literature study to interpret the hadith about cleanliness with a content analysis approach. The results and discussion of this study include the notion of cleanliness, hadiths regarding cleanliness, and cleanliness in the hadith perspective. This study concludes that maintaining cleanliness is very important for daily life including physical and spiritual cleanliness and environmental cleanliness. This study recommends all parties to maintain cleanliness which is not only related to ethics but also the value of worship, especially the recommended importance of implementing hygiene habits from an early age through the role of Islamic institutions.]]>
