Abstract

Muhammadiyah High School seeks to implement Strategic Management in improving the quality of education even though in its implementation it is faced with many problems such as 1) Non-marketable school location is difficult to reach by Prospective New Students and Educational Customers (Trustees of Students) because it is located in the midst of a residential neighborhood and close with the train station, 2) Wrong views and assessments of the Muhammadiyah Organization as Ism or Religious Understanding, 3) Recruitment of Educators not from Internal or Muhammadiyah Cadres so that they do not fully understand the Muhammadiyah's ghiroh and marwah, 4) Establishment of equivalent schools (SMK Muahammadiyah) in one union, Muhammadiyah Cilegon. In this study, the authors used a Qualitative Descriptive method aimed to find out about the real picture related to the problems and strategies used in improving the quality of education. The results of the study obtained information about the effectiveness of the implementation of Strategic management in the field, namely: 1) Consistency of Muhammadiyah Cilegon High School in creating graduates who have the right to continue to Higher Education are also able to enter the world of Business and Industry (the World of Work), Professional Teachers and Education and maximize their strengths by schools, Applying the functions of School Management Information Systems, improving the quality of Education and educating the life of the Nation, 2) Having a Code of Conduct structured in improving quality in the fields of Curriculum, Student, Facilities and Infrastructure including Process Input and Output Education towards quality and competitive schools, 3) Muhammadiyah High School has a strategy in improving the quality of education and rejecting negative issues by promoting Tabayyun, discussion, holding seminars and general stadiums, education workshops, Darul Arqom debriefing and cadre of Muhammadiyah and educators. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the importance of parents' knowledge of Islamic religious education in educating their children. Islamic religious education is a process in which there is a transfer of knowledge about Islam by educators to students in order to prepare students to believe, understand, and practice Islamic teachings. Educators in this paper are parents, namely fathers and mothers who have the responsibility to educate, nurture and guide their children (students) so that their children will become children who can draw closer to Allah SWT (worship) and have noble character (akhlak al-karimah). One of the characteristics of children is imitative. Psychologists assume that in all cases children are accomplished imitators. This copycat character is a positive capital in religious education in children. The emergence of the nature of imitating it requires a model to be emulated. Therefore, educators, especially parents, must make themselves as models or good examples (uswah Hashanah) for their children. The importance of knowledge about Islamic religious education for parents in educating their children is something that should not be underestimated by parents as the main educators for their children. If parents do not have knowledge about Islamic religious education, of course, parents will not be able to become educators, leaders, role models or models that their children will emulate.

Abstract

Education is used as a tool to shape change for the better in various aspects, including in terms of the economy. Education should lead to the welfare of the nation and Muslims, along with the high level of education of the nation's leaders and government officials. But, of the many scholars who have managed to reach the level of higher education to the highest level, but welfare has not arrived. This is exacerbated by the presence of corrupt behavior from highly educated leaders as if adding to the pessimistic space that education can bring to the welfare of the nation and Muslims in Indonesia. Cases of corruption are rampant in the midst of a nation that is predominantly Muslim and has a high degree of education. The following literature study tries to discuss corruption in terms of the thoughts of commentators and theologians. The study of corruption shows that so heavy is the burden of sin or error for corrupt behavior, but in fact, it is still considered light even by people who understand correctly the adverse effects of corruption both for themselves and for the benefit of the Indonesian people and nation, primarily will perpetuate the people to be poor.

Abstract

Behavior is a series of responses made by a number of living things. According to him, behavior does not only include responses to an organism that includes not only the brain, language, thoughts, dreams, hopes, etc. but also involves mental and psychological activities (Department of Education and Culture, 1996: 755). According to al-Ghazali, individual behavior differs according to differences in hereditary factors and the acquisition of learning processes (Department of Education and Culture, 1996: 755). Religious behavior is an expression of a sense of religious soul based on religious awareness and experience in oneself. Humans and Religion have a very close relationship in life. Therefore, one's understanding and awareness of the values ​​of religious teachings will describe the inner side or inner state of a person, where the understanding and awareness will encourage someone to behave in accordance with the teachings he believes. Islamic religious education held in schools is an activity of guidance, teaching, and training that seeks to instill the values ​​of the teachings of Islam, with the aim of producing pious, knowledgeable, faithful, and pious people to Allah SWT. Islamic religious education not only teaches the problems of worship but also discusses other problems that are in accordance with the lives and needs of people in the world. In addition, Islamic education teaches about the ways to socialize among fellow creatures and the ways to associate with the creator. Therefore, Islamic religious education has a very important role in shaping the religious behavior of individuals and groups, in this case, religious education becomes the most important and main factor in providing moral provisions that reflect the quality of understanding and internalization of individual religious values and the group as well as quality as servants of God in behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the phenomenon of speech acts on the type of illocution in the novel by Buya Hamka entitled The Sinking of the 2013 Van Der Wijck Ship published by Balai Pustaka. The method used in this research is a descriptive-analytical method by classifying dialogues in the novel that relates to the functions and categories of illocutionary speech acts. Based on the analysis, it was found that; (1) in terms of function, found illocutionary types asking, pleasing, offering, inviting/inviting, cooperating; (2) in terms of categories, assertive, directive, expressive and declaration types are found; (3) in terms of the intensity of the use of illocution, it was found the type of illocution working together as many as 17 utterances; contradict (scold) as many as 12 utterances; assertive as many as 15 utterances. This research can be used as material for learning Indonesian in literary appreciation material for junior high school students.
