Abstract

one of the morals of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, was Zuhud. this trait teaches that the world does not become the final destination of life, but rather as a means to worship and reach the passion of God Almighty. But unlike the case with modern life today, for him wealth and power as the main purpose of life, so that there is a drought of spiritual values in life. The purpose of this study is to uncover how important zuhud is in the modern life of Abu Al-Qasim Al-Qusyairi's perspective, this research uses descriptive, historical, verstehen, comparative and deduction methods. This research produces findings, that epistemologically, the concept of zuhud Abu Al-Qasim Al-Qusyairi rests on zuhud as morality and zuhud as maqâmat. A zahid must first take the maqam al-taubah, al-mujâhadah, al-khalwah wa al-‘uzlah, al-taqwâ, al-wara ’, then only al-zuhd. furthermore the concept of zuhud is very significant to be practiced in the life of modern society, because zuhud teaches humans not to be enslaved to the world, and advocates to put wealth in the hand only, but the heart is only adhered to Allah SWT, so that there will emerge the nature of social care, and create calm and happiness born and mind.

Abstract

Masalah lingkungan hidup merupakan realitas global yang timbul akibat ketidakramahan manusia terhadap alam. Sikap manusia yang mereduksi makna nilai, dan memandang alam hanya sebatas instrumental-ekonomis merupakan bukti pemangkasan dimensi nonfisik yang bersifat spiritual pada alam itu sendiri. Manusia lebih memposisikan diri sebagai pusat alam semesta, dengan istilah lain bersifat antroposentris. Hal tersebut memicu perbuatan eksploitatif dan destruktif yang pada akhirnya menyebabkan krisis lingkungan secara global. Dengan demikian, untuk mengatasi krisis lingkungan sangat dibutuhkan paradigma ilmu pengetahuan yang tidak hanya bersifat mekanistik-reduksionalistis, tetapi bersifat holistik. Pada penelitian ini akan diungkap nilai-nilai tasawwuf  yang merupakan sebuah madzhab intusionalisme dalam Islam yang fokus terhadap pembinaan moral manusia, kemudian menggali relevansinya bagi pengembangan etika terhadap lingkungan hidup. Dalam proses penelitian, peneliti menggunakan metode deskripsi, interpretasi dan heuristika untuk menganalisi data. Peneliti juga menggunakan metode induktif yaitu menarik kaidah-kaidah khusus untuk memperoleh kesimpulan umum. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tasawwuf memiliki beberapa hubungan moralitas, yang secara epistemologis didasarkan pada sumber tertinggi yang berasal dari Tuhan yaitu al-Qur’an dan al-Sunnah. Nilai dari hubungan moralitas dalam tasawwuf tersebut memiliki relevansi yang sangat signifikan terhadap pengembangan etika lingkungan hidup, sebagai sebuah upaya untuk mewujudkan lingkungan yang lebih baik. Nilai tersebut antara lain; nilai Illahiyyah, insaniyyah dan makhluqiyyah.

Abstract

When talking about politics, for some people assume that the most important thing is the vast area, the expansion of the region, a large mass, or even a long lasting power. However, there are other things that are more important than these things namely the ethical, economic and political dimensions. because if power alone is not supported by a good economy, ethics and politics, then the State will still be a bad country and make its citizens will not live comfortably. Based on this consideration, this research is also present, this research will discuss how the political thinking of Qutb al-Din Al-Shirazi? This research uses descriptive analysis and interpretation methods. The results showed, As-Shirazi discussed political studies into three dimensions, namely ethics, economics and politics. It is interesting that As-Shirazi not only explained the three fields of study of practical philosophy separately. Instead, he concocted the three studies into one and interconnected. When talking about politics, of course it will not be separated from how the economy of a government runs. while politics and economics will not run straight when the ethical dimensions in both fields are underestimated. In fact, then ethics became the regulator and the wall of the two fields of study

Abstract

The problems of human life today include culture. Cultural heritage that should be preserved and used as a reference in life, on the other hand is ignored and more attracted to foreign cultures, so that the culture of melting is eliminated. One of the noble cultural collections in Lampung society is nenemo. This research aims to find out how Nenemo philosophy and its contribution to the people of Lampung ?. This research belongs to the field research (field research) data obtained from interviews, observations and documentation, to analyze researchers' data using descriptive, interpretation and systematic methods. The results showed that the word Nenemo means: Nemen (working hard), Nedes (tenacious, resilient and patient), Nerimo (willingly accepting the provisions of God). Thus, the values contained in Nenemo's philosophy have a significant contribution to the people of Lampung. By preserving and instilling the values of Nenemo's philosophy in carrying out daily life, it will form a society that is hard working, does not like to depend on others and is always patient, and has a spirit of high sincerity in living life.

Abstract

Discussion on ethics becomes important to study, because of this understanding that will be the foundation for someone to act. This paper intends to examine how the characteristics of ethics in Islam and to make it easier to see the author distinguishes it from Western ethics. This type of research is a qualitative study with a literature approach, descriptive analysis. The results showed that between Islamic ethics and Western ethics had differences. Ethics in Islam, human actions are always associated with religion based on the Koran and Hadith, and consider the truth of other arguments on the condition that they should not conflict with Islamic law. So that in practice, encourage people to do good not only in relation to Allah SWT. only but, also to His creatures. Whereas Western ethics, the form of ethical judgment is not related to religion, the truth of customs and does not care about the environment (the universe), because in Western ethics it is more about human interests.
