Abstract

Bahasa Inggris adalah bahasa asing bagi siswa-siswa di Indonesia. Bahasa inggris diajarkan mulai SMP sampai universitas lebih dari 60 tahun. Namun, hasil dari pengajaran bahasa inggris masih belum memuaskan. Sehingga para pengajar mencoba untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran bahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI nomor 007/113/M/KPS/1994 pada tanggal 2 Februari 1994, dicantumkan bahwa bahasa Inggris dapat diajarkan di SD pada kelas 4-6. Tujuan pengajaran bahasa Inggris di SD adalah untuk memampukan siswa memahami bahasa Inggris lisan dan tulisan pada ekspresi sederhana. Oleh karena itu, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian terhadap pengajaran bahasa Inggris di MI Hidayatut Thowalib Pare-Kediri. Ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dan subjeknya adalah kepala sekolah, guru bahasa Inggris, dan para siswa kelas lima di MI Hidayatut Thowalib Pare-Kediri (sekitar 42 siswa). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kualifikasi guru dianggap mempunyai cukup kualifikasi untuk mengajar bahasa Inggris di SD, karena dia lulusan dari program studi bahasa Inggris, mengikuti kursus bahasa Inggris, workshop dan seminar. Bahkan dia mempunyai kursusan bahasa Inggris, sehingga dia mempunyai banyak pengalaman dalam mengajar anak. (2) Materi pengajaran yang diberikan mengacu pada rancangan kemampuan dasar pada muatan lokal kurikulum 2006. (3) Teknik pengajaran yang digunakan adalah menyanyi, cerita, dan percakapan. (4) Media pengajaran yang digunakan adalah objek nyata, materi seni, gambar, file, tape recorder, TV, dan video. (5) Nilai rata-rata prestasi siswa adalah 82 pada semester I tahun akademik 2014-2015. Kesimpulannya, bahwa penerapan bahasa Inggris sebagai muatan lokal di kelas 5 MI Hidayatut Thowalib Pare- Kediri sukses. Hal itu bisa dilihat dari nilai rata-rata prestasi siswa, tetapi nasih perlu untuk ditingkatkan.

Abstract

The popular measurement theory is Item Responds Theory (IRT). IRT measures the parameter of item test and examineer based on the examinee responds, true or false answer. In computer based test, beside responds of the examinee, there is another variable that should be notice, that is the time for item responds. Responds time shows how long examinee can administer item test. The information about responds time in test can be the valuable information source for test administrator , for instance when we analyze the speeded test, calibrate test items, detect about the cheating, and design a test. The responds time can also be used to measure the item parameters of a test (item difficulties and item slowness) and examinee parameters of a test (ability and speedness). Relating with those purpose, the responds time be modelled based on the basic distribution. Researcher choose the lognormal distribution as time responds distribution, because of the easy intrepretation. The responds time is dependent variable, and independent variable are item difficulty, item slowness, ability dan speedness. The method used to estimate parameters is Bayesian, Markov Chain Monte Carlo.

Abstract

The success of a learning process will not be separated from the method used, because the teaching method is one factor an very important role in the learning process. A method very big role in learning and concerned with students also who become the object of learning. The appropriateness of the teacher in choosing the method of learning is one of the factors success of a teacher. in Research Implementation Eclectic Method in Teaching Arabic in MTsN Kediri 1 result is Learning Maharah al qira’ah in MTsN Kediri 1 method is used; Speech Method, Drill method, Thariqah sam’iyyah syafahiyyah, Thoriqoh qawa’id wa al Tarjamah, question method, recitation method. Maharah Kalam is the method used; Drill method, Role Playing method, Thoriqoh al Mubasyarah etc. In learning Tarkib/qawa’id method used is; Speech method, Qiyasiyyah method, qowaid wa tarjamah method, recitation method. Learning Maharah Istima ‘method is used; Speech Method, Sam’iyyah syafahiyyah Method, Drill Method etc. While the obstacles encountered is the background student of heterogeneous input Arabic language skills and lack of time learning Arabic and the solution by holding Learning Book yellow (BKK), Read and Write Qur’an (BTQ) and add homework.

Abstract

Essentially intellectual level of students very heterogeneous between each other, there are uniquely gifted children who have strong interest in the various areas. Children have talented with such types require specific educational services in order to grow their potential so it can actualize themselves optimally. Without relevant education services, gifted children will be the group “wrong parenting children†who failed to provide a significant contribution to the progress of the nation. One form of educational services for students who have exceptional ability and intelligence is through the Acceleration Program (accelerated learning), kind of a program to accelerate the period of study for students who have high intelligence and are entitled to receive special attention in order to stimulate the development of achievements and talents. Therefore, in the learning process in madrasah is needed a proper implementation of the curriculum and can facilitate their potential, especially associated with the Arabic language curriculum as a pillar for education based on Islam. In accordance with the identification of problems arising at the location, this research is limited to the implementation of Arabic language learning in which related with the method and the strategy chosen by the teacher for teaching, the media and the tools needed and applied curriculum, so this study focused on identifying implementation learning Arabic and the problems faced by teachers in teaching Arabic at accelerated classes in MAN 2 Tulungagung. As defined formula, this research was designed using qualitative descriptive approach. This approach was chosen because research will produce descriptive data and then analyzed and interpreted to get a conclusion.

Abstract

Shari’ah mutual funds has its own charm than other types of mutual funds. Shari’ah mutual funds is not limited only to Muslims as the general public, who are already seeing the benefits of investment that is based on the choice of sector and company specific criteria more promising and minimize risk. Islamic mutual funds are able to contribute the confidence of investors amounted to 3.31% in 2011, 4.31% in 2012 and 3.79% in 2013. So the value of the confidence of investors on mutual fund products sharia to 2013 is still around 3-4% . As for growth on Islamic mutual funds into one of the capital market products showed an increase in value in 2012 amounted to 3.79% later in the year 2013 to 4.32%. Investment portfolio management works based framework (framework) for investment management which covers the planning, implementation, evaluation, and adjustment. In mutual funds, investment managers responsible for investment activities, which includes the analysis and selection of investment types, and perform the necessary actions for the benefit of investors. Form of mutual fund performance measurement Shari’ah assessed net asset value (NAV) of the sub weekly. Showed a good performance rekasadana Shari’ah when in a period of return obtained is more positive.Â

Abstract

Family is a smallest social unit. The change number of the family member will influence the atmosphere of the family relationship which influence feeling, thought, and attitude of the members. The father’s dead which makes children become orphan is a fact of life. It always makes family atmosphere become sad, and it causes bad situation for the children in which they lose love and good leader. Therefore, it is important to develop their potentials which will give benefits for their life and their family. Developing orphans’ positive potentials can be done at home or in orphanage. This article aims at investigating orphans parenting in Muhammadiyah girl orphanage in Pare. The result shows that the orphans parenting in Muhammadiyah girl orphanage in Pare can be seen from the parenthood which has good attitude and character. She has motherly attitude, patient, discipline, and perceptive with the orphans’ condition. The learning activity in the orphanage is 24 hours. The orphans learn religious knowledge, foreign language, and entrepreneurship. The parenting model used are that the parenthood educate the orphans as like her own children, and the relationship between the old and the young orphans is like own brother-sister. The supporting factors of the parenting in this orphanage are honest intention, community support, financial source, and facilities. Meanwhile, the problems faced are juvenile delinquency and insufficient facilities.

Abstract

Islamic marriage law that grows and develops in the social space describing the multiple possibilities to be interpreted through history. Issues around issues of justice, equality became the main centrum discussed with different approaches. Thesis William Montgomery Watt states that the trade of Mecca is an important factor for the emergence of Islam. Socioeconomic standpoint this has enriched the interpretation of the history of the emergence of Islam as a debatable academically. Although theses Watt also received sharp criticism from Patricia Crone, but both are at the same point the assumption that Mecca declared as an important trading town in the 7th century AD.

Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) is an attempt to maximize competitiveness through continuous improvement process in this case the school is able to recognize the capabilities, advantages and also disadvantages. Implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in achieving quality education supported by high quality / quality output at the school is to improve all aspects of both the completeness of infrastructure facilities, the professionalism of teachers, as well as the quality of graduates (output). The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of Total Quality Management in achieving quality output through quality control (quality control) school. In the implementation of quality control is required a shared commitment among all components in the school, between school leaders, teachers, students, other school staff, parents also learners. The method used in the writing of this study is literature. Primary data obtained from studies and reading through the books according to subject. The study was conducted at the beginning of September 2014, involving discussions among peers. Based on these discussions concluded that: 1) Build quality so that it becomes a quality output needed a shared commitment among all components in the school, between school leaders, teachers, students, other school staff, parents also learners. 2) To get the quality of quality, to provide education not only give priority to the supply of input factors, but also the process. The quality of education can be fulfilled if there is an increase in the quality of school management with regard elements of input, process and output. 3) Total Quality Management (TQM) through a system of quality control (quality control) is an approach which seeks to improve the quality of education through the process so that it becomes a quality output, quality, and competitiveness. Improvement of the quality of the output is not only a school program, but also a government program.

Abstract

One of factor that effected the result of mathematic teaching becomes low is the usage of inappropriate learning method which used by teacher in a class. Because of that, the teachers are expected can develop a learning method which involves the students directly into learning process so it can grow the ability of students to develop, find, investigate, and show the idea. Learning method that involves the students directly is Cooperative Learning Method. The aim of this research is: (1) to know the development of student’s achievement after the STAD cooperative learning method was applied towards student at grade X RPL in SMKN 6 Malang academic year 2012/2013. (2) to know the influence of study motivation from the students after the method is applied. This research is held in X RPL grade in SMKN 6 Malang academic year 2012/2013. The object of this research is student X RPL 5 grade which consist of 20 female students and 15 males students. The instrument inside this research is in a form of test. The Data about ability of students to understanding mathematic subject is taken as long as the learning process and from the result of examination. Beside, the data about the development of learning quality is taken by seeing the change started from early learning process with next learning process. The data is collected and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively (mixed methods).

Abstract

Kenyataan bahwa masih banyak mahasiswa membuat kesalahan gramatika yang mendasar bahkan di tahaptahap akhir studi mereka, mendorong pengelola Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris STAIN Kediri merancang ulang kurikulum matakuliah writing. Inovasi yang dilakukan meliputi (1) tujuan setiap matakuliah Writing; (2) kelas ukuran kecil; (3) buku diktat yang ditulis dosen sendiri; (4) menulis jurnal mingguan. Dilaksanakan selama semester genap tahun akademik 2013/2014, penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengeksplorasi metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan dan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana program ini bisa mencapai tujuan perkuliahan. Evaluasi program pada penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasi eksperimental, dan data diambil melalui pre-tes dan post-tes dan wawancara mendalam dengan para dosen. Penelitian ini menemujkan bahwa (1) semua dosen yang menerapkan metode eklektik telah mengakomodir semua tipe pembelajar, mengkombinasi dengan ceramah, evaluasi teman sebaya, menulis jurnal dan diskusi kelas; (2) perbandingan antara nilai mahasiswa di pre-tes dan post-tes mengindikasikan bahwa tidak ada bukti perkembangan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan menulis mahasiswa yang dihasilkan dari inovasi tersebut. Akan tetapi, menganalisis pekerjaan mahasiswa secara kualitatif mengarahkan pada temuan bahwa ada perkembangan yang dicapai mahasiswa dalam beberapa hal: (1) kesalahan kesalahan umum yang ditemukan di hasil pre-tes tidak atau jarang sekali ditemukan di hasil post-tes; (2) penggunaan pola kalimat yang lebih bervariasi di posttes; sedangkan kalimat mereka pada hasil pre-tes kebanyakan sederhana, hanya sedikit yang berpola kompleks atau majemuk.
