Abstract

In recent years, the persistent issue of economic inequality, represented by the Gini Ratio, has garnered significant attention. This research explores the nuanced relationship between Gini Ratio and HDI, shedding light on how disparities in income distribution impact human development outcomes. The findings of this research have profound implications for policymakers and stakeholders. Understanding the intricate connections between economic inequality, infrastructure development, and individual spending habits can inform targeted policy interventions. By addressing these underlying factors, governments can design more effective strategies to enhance HDI, uplift marginalized communities, and foster sustainable socio-economic development. This comprehensive analysis contributes significantly to the existing body of knowledge, providing a nuanced understanding of the multifaceted factors shaping human development. As nations strive for progress, this research serves as a valuable resource, guiding policymakers toward evidence-based decisions that prioritize the well-being and prosperity of their citizens.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the School Participation Rate (SPR) and the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR)) on the Human Development Index (HDI in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data sourced from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for the 2012-2021 period. Data were analyzed using the Multiple Linear Regression analysis method. The results of the research partially show that the variable School Participation Rate (SPR) has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) and the Labor Force Participation Rate variable (LFPR) has no effect and is not significant on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Indonesia. The results of the study simultaneously with the School Participation Rate (SPR) and Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) variables have a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Labor Force Participation Rate, population quality, and the level of open response to economic growth in North Sumatra Province. This research uses secondary data from 2017-2021. The model used is the panel data regression model with three types of estimation, namely the commond effect model, the fixed effect model and the random effect model. To determine which model is best for use in the test through three tests Chow test, Hausmant test and LM test. Based on the test results that have been carried out, the selected model is the fixed effect model. The partial results show that the Variable Labor Force Participation Rate has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in North Sumatra, while the quality of the population and the level of open response have a negative and significant effect on economic growth in North Sumatra and together (simultaneously) the labor force participation rate. population quality, and the level of open damping have a positive effect on economic growth in North Sumatra Province. As well as the test results for the coefficient of determination obtained by the R Square value showing a value of 0.351 or 35.1% indicating that the ability of the independent variable to explain the effect on the dependent variable and the remaining 64.9% can be explained by other variables outside the research variables. Recommendations for the election of the government of North Sumatra can provide training to job seekers so that they have skills, and the government has achievements in opening jobs so that it will reduce action and can increase economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Exports, Investment and the Human Development Index (HDI) on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Indonesia in 1993 - 2022. This research uses secondary data in the form of a time series for 30 years. This research uses the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) test analysis method. The results of this research show that in the short term the export variable has a positive and significant effect, and in the long term exports has a positive and insignificant effect on GDP in Indonesia. In the short term, investment variables have a positive and significant effect, as well as in the long term, investment has a positive and significant effect on GDP in Indonesia. In the short term HDI has a negative and significant effect, and in the long term HDI has a negative and insignificant effect on GDP in Indonesia. It is hoped that the Government can increase GDP by improving people's welfare, so that it can have an impact on people's ability to carry out production which can ultimately be exported to other countries.
