Abstract

The problems in this study are: the low learning outcomes of floor gymnastics skills in the material for front and back rolls for students of class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Merangin. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which learning outcomes can be improved through a visual video media approach for students of class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Merangin. This research method is classroom action research with the research subject is class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Merangin which consists of 32 students, with details of 21 female students and 11 male students. The research was conducted in two cycles of action. In the first and second cycles, an initial test of student performance was given, the teacher observed the students' activities in practicing during the training in teaching and learning activities, after watching a video show of the front roll and back roll floor gymnastics. The results of the evaluation and overall reflection in the first and second cycles. In the second cycle, the students' learning mastery results were 80.06% and the class average was 84.38%. And the success rate of the first cycle which only obtained learning completeness was 59.37% and the class average was 74.19%. The increase from the first cycle to the second cycle is 5.87 points. Based on the results of the evaluation and reflection of the second cycle, it is expected for Physical Education teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Merangin to use visual video media in learning floor gymnastics for the front roll and back roll for students. Because learning using audio-visual media helps teachers improve learning outcomes and make learning more interesting and varied.

Abstract

The objectives of this CAR are: (a) To increase interest in learning geography on the Pedosphere concept, (b) To improve learning outcomes of Geography on the Pedosphere concept through a cooperative learning model of Group investigation type in class X IPS 2 SMAN 1 Merangin for the 2021/2022 school year. This PTK is done through 2 cycles. The data collected in this study consisted of quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data obtained from test results were processed using percentage descriptions. The scores obtained by the students were averaged to find the level of understanding of the students' pedosphere concepts in learning Geography. Qualitative data obtained from observations and student questionnaires are classified based on the aspects that are the focus of the analysis. This quantitative and qualitative data is then linked as a basis for describing the successful application of the group investigation learning model which is characterized by an increase in student interest and learning outcomes in geography learning the pedosphere concept in classical geography learning. The results showed that the cooperative learning model of group investigation type that was applied to the Geography learning of the pedosphere concept was proven to increase student interest in learning both individually and classically, fostering the ability to work together, think critically, and at the same time there was also a significant increase in student learning outcomes. that is, from the average score of 59 students in the pre-cycle, it became 67.5 in the first cycle and increased to 71.77 in the second cycle. Abstract

Implementing the discussion method in studying the topic of Biology, especially in learning about the environment, leaves students unable to apply in real life what they have learned in school. Because of that, in this research, the Project Method through group work was used in the task of recycling both organic an inorganic waste. The goal of this research was to enhance the students’ affective, cognitive, and psychomotor ability. The research Project took the form of class action research carried out in two cycles, both of which consisted of planning, implementing, observing, and reflection. The results of the research showed that by implementing the Project Method, the ability of the students increased in all three aspects: the cognitive aspect as evidenced by the daily test scores, the affective aspect as was apparent in the students initiative in making posters to raise environmental awareness, and in the psychomotor aspect made clear by the recycled products that were produced. The results of the overall reflection between the initial conditions before the action was taken until after the action was taken, both cycle I and cycle II showed an increase in student learning achievement, both from the cognitive, psychomotor and affective aspects. Between the initial conditions before the action to after the first cycle of action, there was an increase in cognitive value. More important than increasing cognitive values ​​is that teachers who previously were only able to reveal aspects of students' cognitive abilities, after taking action in the form of implementing project methods in the form of recycling waste with presentations and environmental poster assessments, now teachers have been able to reveal aspects of psychomotor abilities and students' affective aspects. Meanwhile, between cycle I and cycle II, there was an increase in student achievement from all aspects of student abilities. The real change that appears between the initial conditions, after the first cycle of action and the second cycle of action is an increase in the achievement of KKM. From 58% in the initial condition, to 82% after the first cycle of action and to 92% after the second cycle of action

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' Sociology learning outcomes through the application of concept mapping strategies. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. The data collection techniques in this study were: classroom observation, interviews, distributing questionnaires, formative evaluations, and discussions with partner teachers (collaborators). The results of the first cycle of action showed that 67% or 22 of 33 students had shown an increase in learning outcomes by achieving the KKM score (≥ 70), and in the second cycle it increased significantly to 91% or 30 of 33 students had achieved the KKM score (≥ 70). . These conclusions are reinforced by the results of the student opinion questionnaire about learning with concept maps which shows that in the first cycle there are 14 of 33 students or 42.5% of students stating that learning with concept maps is quite helpful in learning Sociology of globalization material and 11 of 33 students stated that learning with concept maps is good in helping to learn Sociology of globalization material. While in cycle II there were 16 of 33 students or 48.5% of students stated that learning with concept maps was good in helping to learn Sociology of globalization material and 5 of 33 students or 15.2% stated that learning with concept maps was very good in study Sociology on the subject of globalization

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes obtained by students. The average student learning outcomes have not reached the specified KKM, which is 75. One solution to fix these problems is to apply the Creative Problem Solving learning model. With the application of this learning model, it is expected that students' mathematics learning outcomes will increase. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in 2 cycles, with the steps of each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and evaluation and reflection. Subjects and objects of research were 37 students of class VIIIC, using the Creative Problem Solving learning model. The instrument used to obtain student learning outcomes and activities is a test sheet consisting of 5 questions and an observation sheet. Learning outcomes data were analyzed using the average percentage technique. Based on the results of the study, it was found that on average there was an increase in student learning outcomes from each cycle. The average learning outcome in the first cycle was 72.14 with the percentage of students who completed 67.57% an increase in the second cycle, namely the average student learning outcome was 78.78, with the percentage of students who completed classically reached 86.49%.

Abstract

This research is based on students' mathematics learning outcomes which are still low. Mathematics learning is still a scourge for some students, so the learning process applied by teachers has not been able to improve student learning outcomes. At SMP Negeri 19 Merangin, the average student who completes learning mathematics is only 44% or still less than the KKM set, which is 75. To overcome this, classroom action is carried out by carrying out the learning process using the card match index model for students. class VIIIA SMP Negeri 19 Merangin. Based on the results of classroom action research which was carried out in 3 cycles, the research subjects were class VIIIA students, totaling 25 students. After the implementation of learning using the card match index model, the student learning outcomes obtained from 5 items tested to students, the average percentage of student learning outcomes has increased in each cycle. in the first cycle of 65.48%, the second cycle, 74.08% and the third cycle, 82.76%. While the activeness of students seen from their activities has increased by 60.40% in the first cycle, to 72.40% in the second cycle and at the end of the third cycle to 74.80%. From these results, it can be concluded that the Index Card Match method can improve student learning outcomes for class VIIIA SMP Negeri 19 Merangin for the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the learning activities of class VIIIF students in the odd semester of MTs Negeri 1 Merangin for the 2020/2021 academic year through the application ofdiscovery learning to the Digestive System material in humans. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were students of class VIIIF MTs Negeri 1 Merangin in the 2020/2021 school year. Sources of data are teachers and students. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of the observation analysis of student learning activities when the science learning process on the human digestive system material obtained a percentage of 68.28% in the first cycle, increasing to 87.28 in the second cycle. Thus obtained the average class results with a percentage of 77.78%. Thus all types of learning activities meet the achievement of good criteria

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of Class VIII B students at MTs Negeri 1 Merangin by applying contextual learning”. Judging from the results of the Final Semester Exams (UAS) for Class VIII MTs Negeri 1 Merangin students for the last three years in a row, the data is still high in the percentage of students who score below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This cannot be allowed to continue without the handling of a teacher. Teachers need to evaluate what factors cause this to happen. The trend in the new paradigm of education is that learning is better if the learning environment is created naturally. Contextual Learning Strategy is one suitable choice to be applied. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), because according to Sukmadinata (2010: 140) action research is a systematic search action carried out by the implementers themselves (in education it is carried out by teachers, lecturers, school principals, counselors). This PTK lasted for two cycles. The action plans for each cycle in this CAR are divided into four activities, namely; (1) planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation and evaluation, and (4) analysis and reflection. From the results of the analysis of observational data and student learning outcomes data as well as the results of the discussion, it can be concluded as follows: 1) Contextual learning strategies can improve student learning activities in class VIII B MTs Negeri 1 Merangin. 2) The application of contextual learning strategies can improve student learning outcomes in class VIII B MTs Negeri1 Merangin on the material of Functions and Graphs of Functions

Abstract

This research is entitled “Application of the Talking Stick Method to Improve Learning Outcomes of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship (PKK) in Class XI Multimedia Students at SMK Negeri 5 Merangin for the 2022/2023 academic year. Based on the results of research at SMK Negeri 5 Merangin showed low student learning outcomes in the subjects of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship (PKK). The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the talking stick method in PKK learning outcomes. The object of this research is the students of class XI Multimedia A totaling 21 students. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by giving tests to students to measure student learning outcomes. Data analysis uses quantitative data analysis. The results show that: the talking stick method is effectively used in improving PKK learning outcomes for students in class XI Multimedia A. This can be seen from the increase in PKK learning outcomes for students from pre-cycle, Cycle I, and Cycle II. PKK learning outcomes of students from pre-cycle students who completed as much as 9.52% increased in the first cycle to 53.28%. Cycle I to cycle II classical student learning outcomes increased to 85.71%. Thus, the social studies learning outcomes of students from pre-cycle to cycle II increased by 76.19%.

Abstract

The maximum learning outcomes have not been achieved, which is an important scourge that needs to be solved. The application of the Discovery Learning type cooperative learning model is thought to be able to increase student participation in learning and learning outcomes. This type of research is a quantitative experimental method. The population in this study was class VIII students in Social Studies Learning at SMP Negeri 43 totaling 52 students. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and questionnaires. The data validity technique uses Validity Test, Reliability Test. The data analysis technique used prerequisite test. The data are Normality Test, Homogeneity Test and t Test with SPSS 21 Program. Based on the results of the study showed that. the application of the Discovery Learning model in social studies learning can increase students' active participation in learning with a significant level of 5%, with a t-table value of 2.0074, t-count data = 3.488. Testing the hypothesis test shows that tcount > t table, then the hypothesis testing shows that rejecting H0 and accepting Ha is that there are differences in student learning outcomes between the use of the Discovery Learning type of cooperative learning model and the Conventional Learning Model (lecture). Therefore, to achieve better learning outcomes, it is necessary to use more varied teaching variations by teachers
