Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic and non-communicable disease with a high risk that causes serious problems throughout the world. The purpose of this study was to look at the description of knowledge about DM wound prevention in family members of DM patients in the Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir Health Center Work Area. This research was carried out in the working area of the Tanjung Batu Timur Health Center in 2019 using a Cross Sectiona design. In this study, the population taken were family members of DM patients who had been recorded to come to Tanjung Batu Health Center with total sampling technique. The results of the study were that the age ranged from 18 to 63 years, the percentage of sex between men and women were 32% and 68%, respectively, the majority of research respondents based on respondents who lived with DM patients were children (blood ties), and the percentage the largest based on the respondent's education level is high school education / equivalent, and the percentage of work status of research respondents both working and not working as much as 44% and 56%, respectively. The results of this study can be used as a reflection to improve and improve the performance of existing programs related to DM in the working area of the Puskesmas.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is still a problem in several hospitals in Indonesia and even the world. This study aims to determine the relationship between service quality and patient satisfaction in the Inpatient Room of Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province in 2019. This type of research used cross sectional. Statistical test using chi-square test using accidental sampling with a total of 50 respondents. The analysis was carried out in two stages, namely Univariate and Bivariate analysis, the results showed that the quality of nursing services at Siti Fatimah Hospital was good. Patient satisfaction in Siti Fatimah Hospital is high. There is a relationship between the quality of nursing services with patient satisfaction in Siti Fatimah Hospital. The better the quality of nursing services provided, the higher the level of patient satisfaction with the services provided. This research is expected to be a consideration for the leadership of Siti Fatimah Hospital in improving the quality of good service to patients so that the level of patient satisfaction is high.

Abstract

Health development aims to increase awareness, willingness, and ability to live healthy for everyone in order to realize the highest degree of public health, as an investment for the development of socially and economically productive human resources. Increasing life expectancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between genetics, smoking habits and stress with the incidence of hypertension. The design of this research is Cross Sectional. The population in this study were all respondents who visited the Prabumulih Timur Health Center, Prabumulih City, totaling 137 patients, with a sample of 58 respondents, the sampling technique was Acidental sampling. Analysis of the results of the study using Chi-Square (bivariate) with = 0.05, this study concluded that there is a significant relationship between genetics, smoking habits, stress, simultaneously with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at Prabumulih Timur Health Center, Prabumulih City. Suggestions for this research are expected to always improve health services so that they can provide quality services, especially to be further improved in providing information to family members and providing counseling about prevention in patients with hypertension.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding for 4 months. But now, exclusive breastfeeding for babies is recommended by WHO for 6 months. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and education with exclusive breastfeeding. This type of research uses cross sectional. The population in this study were mothers who breastfeed at Pematang Panggang Health Center totaling 36 respondents with a sampling technique using accidental sampling. The analysis was carried out in two stages, namely Univariate and Bivariate analysis. The statistical test used the chi-square test with a significance level of =5%. The results showed that the study concluded that there was a relationship between knowledge and mother's education simultaneously with exclusive breastfeeding at Pematang Panggang Health Center in 2019 For Pematang Panggang Health Center It is expected to provide more intensive counseling about exclusive breastfeeding so that mothers know about exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever or abbreviated as DHF is a disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and eradication of mosquito nests with the incidence of DHF. This type of research uses cross sectional. The population in this study was 60 people with a sampling technique with a total sampling of 60 respondents. The analysis was carried out in two stages, namely Univariate and Bivariate analysis. The statistical test used the chi-square test with a significance level of =5%. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and eradication of mosquito nests simultaneously with the occurrence of dengue hemorrhagic fever at the Lumpatan Health Center. The results of this study can be used as a reflection to improve and improve the performance of existing programs related to dengue disease in the working area of ​​the Puskesmas. So that later it can increase public knowledge about dengue prevention through these programs.
