Abstract

This community service program aims to increase accounting literacy for students who own and plan business activities. Financial records are a fundamental thing needed by all forms of business in order to obtain reliable financial information. Accounting as a financial discipline has an important role in producing this information. The participants of this activity are students who live in Taman Sari, West Jakarta. The activity was carried out for 4 months starting in February 2022 as many as 8 training sessions. The results of the training show that the participants' accounting understanding has an average of 92.3 which indicates the effectiveness of the training. The obstacle faced by students related to the accounting cycle is in the process of making general journals and adjustments. The results of this service are expected to improve public literacy regarding the importance of compiling financial information through accounting records

Abstract

This community service activity is motivated by the lack of understanding and ability of the community in preparing financial management. Many people are still reluctant to do financial planning on the grounds that they do not understand the guidelines for preparing financial management. This is what underlies the need to carry out this service activity with the aim of helping the community in preparing financial management so that later the community can manage finances. The dedication activity was carried out in April 2022 at the Indralokamonastery in Tangerang. The method used is divided into two stages in the form of delivery of material and assistance to people who wish to develop financial management. With this community service activity, it can provide new knowledge concepts for the community so that they can prepare financial planning that has been carried out.

Abstract

Financial management plays an important role in the business development of MSME actors. One of the basic financial management that needs to be understood by business actors is managing finances properly and correctly. This Community Service activity is carried out to assist in improving the financial management of community financial literacy, especially MSMEs in Sewan Rawa Kucing Tangerang. The method of implementation is in the form of material distribution, lectures, and discussions/debriefings which are conducted offline. The conclusions obtained from this activity show that most MSME actors and the community in Sewan Rawa Kucing still have a low level of financial literacy, however, after carrying out this community service activity, participants' knowledge of the basic concepts of financial management has improved.

Abstract

The car repair business does not only rely on car maintenance service activities, but is supported by comfortable facilities and excellent service. The "Koh Aloy" car repair shop is a micro-small business with a number of limitations, including limitations on the types of service services, infrastructure facilities, sources of funds, and the ability to manage a repair shop. The objectives of this training include car service with injection technology, application of a workshop administration system and management of the Occupational Health and Safety Environment (LK3). The target subjects of the activity are workshop managers and mechanics. Evaluation of training participant satisfaction is carried outthrough customer satisfaction measurement instruments. The results of the training and mentoring activities for small and micro car repair shops in Negla Sari Tangerang to increase the competitiveness of this service are; 1) the service activities carried out at the "Koh Aloy" Car Repair Shop, received a pretty good response. The indicators are that both the manager and the mechanics of the partner car repair shop participate in the activity from start to finish; 2) training and mentoring activities for car repair shop managers and mechanics, have increased knowledge about injection technology and service for injection technology cars, entrepreneurship and marketing management, workshop administration systems, recording financial reports, and environmental management, occupational safety and health (LK3 ); and 3) training and mentoring activities have provided provisions for car repair shop managers and mechanics to be better prepared in providing injection car service services.

Abstract

In order to educate the life of the nation, this community service activity takes the theme of career development in the financial industry. The financial industry in Indonesia shows a large contribution in providing employment opportunities. The financial services industry sector is a place providing a great opportunity to millennial leaders of the country's economic industry which is certainly a wetland for them to gain as much experience as possible to prepare for accelerating career. This community service activity was packaged in the form of a webinar with the aim of providing fundamental knowledge related to the financial services industry that participants must know. This webinar provided the understanding of the types of services and government institutions that have regulatory authority. Presentations related to the development of the financial industry and the role of product manager position topics discussed in the next session and continued with anexplanation of the transition from a learner to a professional in the financial industry.

Abstract

This service activity aims to gain insight into investment and stock trading, as well as things that investors need to pay attention to before investing. This service is one way to overcome the influence of the low interest of lecturers in investing in the Indonesian Capital Market. This is due to a lack of intrinsic motivation and investment knowledge in lecturers, causing low interest in investing. In addition, this service aims to provide education and outreach about investing in the Indonesian Capital Market to all residents of Cukang Galih, Tangerang. Thisservice also provides a clear picture that with the Investment Education and Training in the Indonesian Capital Market at Cukang Galing Tangerang, it is hoped that this service can become input for participants to gain insight into investing and trading stocks and other things. - Things that investors need to pay attention to before investing.

Abstract

One of the problems faced by BUMDes is the inadequate condition of human resources, especially for presenting financial reports. PKN STAN together with DPMD Provinsi Jawa Timur and DPMD Kabupaten Bojonegoro held Community Service activities to increase the capacity of Human Resources in the accounting field at BUMDes in Bojonegoro. The series of activities involving 17 BUMDes started with offline training and visitations, followed by online mentoring for a period of 2 months. The training activities have succeeded in increasing the participants' abilities by increasing the post-test scores compared to the pre-test. In addition, the BUMDes that were visited received several suggestions for improvement and continued with discussions to answer the problems encountered when using the BUMDes Accounting Application.

Abstract

Community development in Kampung Hijrah aims to map this region's potency as integrated tourism and economic activity for villagers. Initially, Kampung Hijrah had a negative reputation that needed to be rebranded by RT and teach the villagers to create their own economic activity. The development of eco-tourism in Kampung Hijrah started with the inauguration of a fishing recreation spot during this program. This fishing spot could create a recreation place that has valuable economic transactions. However, future evaluation and monitoring are crucial to the following programs. The improvement in understanding of good corporate governance in managing the business and good resources (capital) allocation are two critical success factors before the venture could bring social welfare for the nearby villagers.

Abstract

Nowadays there are many Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that are unable to maintain business continuity so it is not uncommon for bankruptcy to occur in less than five years. Most entrepreneurs don't know what mistakes make their small businesses go bankrupt. Even though Indonesia's economic growth is getting better, one of the causes of the lack of success of SMEs is the administration of these SMEs. Poor administration makes SMEs complacent and not paying attention to the condition of their SMEs. The target audience for this PKM activity is UKM Sukasari Tangerang. Training is carried out using lecture methods, demonstrations and exercises accompanied by questions and answers. The demonstration method is used to show a work process, namely the administrative stages of entrepreneurship in making reports. Meanwhile, the question and answer method provides participants with the opportunity to consult in overcoming obstacles in entrepreneurship, especially in administration. The benefits that participants can get from this PKM activity include being able tocarry out general administrative activities to make financial reports and tax reporting in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The problem faced by final year students at the Wiyatamandala College of Economics is the lack of practice in producing scientific work. Students' lack of knowledge in making scientific work is due to a lack of understanding of research methodology and mastery of the SPSS application which can help process research data using statistical techniques, even though making research is very important to fulfill students' obligations as a graduation requirement in obtaining a bachelor's degree. The result of this service is that participants understand the concept of SPSS processing with simple research examples used as material for training in analyzing research data using the SPSS application so that students can read and analyze the output results from using the SPSS application
