Abstract

This study aims to develop a product in the form of corner clock learning media in fourth grade mathematics learning at SD Negeri 12 Lubuklinggau in accordance with the 2013 curriculum and to produce a corner clock learning media that is valid, practical, and has effectiveness in the learning process. This research is a development research with a 4D development model. Based on the results of the validation analysis by the three experts, namely: linguists, material experts, and media experts, it showed that the angle clock media on the angle material and its measurements met the criteria of high validity with an average score of 0.85. While the results of the analysis of the assessment sheet on the practicality of teachers and students consisting of a small group (small group) of 6 students and a large group of 20 people, it was found that the corner clock media met the practical criteria with an average score of 92%, and the results of the effectiveness analysis showed that after conducting posttest obtained completeness of learning outcomes 73% with good criteria. So it can be concluded that the corner clock learning media in mathematics learning meets the valid, practical, and effective criteria for use in learning.

Abstract

Reading skills are one of the skills that have an important role in human life. Reading is a mental process where there is process of translating visual codes into meaningful spoken language. The purpose of the reading process is to receive or understand the message contained in the text or writing. In this case, some students have difficulty in reading, which causes the demands for learning to be unfulfilled. This is due to the lack of stimulus provided during the learning process so that there is a decrease in students' reading ability, then the fading method and the use of color become interventions in improving the ability and fluency of reading in elementary students. The method used is a single subject, to see the effectiveness of a behavior modification approach with the fading method and the use of color to improve reading skills. In exploring the data, interviews, observation, and psychological tests in the form of the WISC IQ test were used, and informal reading tests were used. The results of the intervention showed that there was an increase in students' reading fluency by using the fading method and the use of color.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the attitude of love for the homeland of PGSD UMG students using the Value Clarification Technique learning model for 4th semester students. This type of research is classroom action research. The design of this study used the Kemmis & Mc Taggart model. The research subjects included 4th semester students of class A morning PGSD UMG with a total of 40 students. The object of this study is the attitude of love for the homeland of pgsd students. Data analysis techniques are descriptively quantitative. The results of this study show that there is an increase in the attitude of love for the homeland of students. This can be inferred from several cycles that have been carried out. Cycle I to II values on indicator 1 from 76.76% to 78.48%, indicator 2 from 75.33% to 77.58%, and indicator 3 from 63.57% to 74.39%. In subsequent studies, from cycle II to III, results were obtained on indicator 1 from 76.48% to 78.67%, indicator 2 from 76.58% to 78.62%, and indicator 3 from 64.39% to 67.14%. Meanwhile, from cycle II to IV, results were obtained, namely indicator 1 from 74.67% to 83.33%, indicator 2 from 75.62% to 82.91%, and indicator 3 from 74.14% to 78.59%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the learning activity of fifth grade students by applying the talking stick learning method. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) or Classroom Action Research which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were fifth grade students at SDN 6 Langkai Palangka Raya which consisted of 25 students. The research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle was carried out 3 times with data collection techniques using student activity observation sheets and field notes. The results showed that the application of the talking stick learning method can increase student learning activity, this is evidenced in the pre-cycle activities as a whole, the results of observations got an average score of 50.9, in the first cycle of meeting 1 it increased to 59.1, at the second meeting. increased to 65, at the 3rd meeting increased to 72.7. Furthermore, in the second cycle of meeting 1, student activity reached 79.8, the second meeting reached 84.7 and at the third meeting increased to 92.6 with a very good category. So that the increase from pre-cycle activities of 50.9 to the first cycle of 72.7 activities, there was an increase of 21.8 points. As for the activities of the first cycle of 72.7 to the activities of the second cycle of 92.6, there was an increase of 19.9 points. In addition, the success of the application of the talking stick learning method is influenced by the skills of the teacher in guiding students during learning, so that learning using the talking stick method feels fun. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the talking stick learning method is proven to increase the learning activity of fifth grade students at SDN 6 Langkai Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Many primary school teachers have not mastered the fundamentals of differentiated learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka. This study aims to address this issue by presenting the implications of Fleming’s research findings on student learning styles on differentiated learning practice. This qualitative study was conducted using a content analysis design. Data were gathered by reviewing the contents of the Kurikulum Merdeka document and Fleming’s research report. The obtained data were then processed using the steps proposed by Miles and Huberman, which included data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings of this study indicate that the Audio-Visual-Read/Write-Kinesthetic learning style is highly relevant to the implementation of differentiated learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka. Fleming's findings confirm that everyone has at least one of the four learning styles listed above. The implementation guidelines for the Kurikulum Merdeka instruct the use of differentiated learning based on the characteristics of each pupil. That means, one of the fundamental considerations in designing and implementing differentiated learning should be Fleming’s findings about learning modalities. According to the findings of this study, differentiated learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka is assumed to be well-executed when the teacher is able to identify students’ learning styles prior to designing learning

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (CAR) is motivated by low student motivation so that it affects the learning outcomes of the human and environmental themes of fifth grade students at SDN Kemiriombo who have not reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This study aims to improve motivation and learning outcomes of human and environmental themes using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model for fifth grade students of SDN Kemiriombo in the 2021/2022 academic year. The researcher carried out the CAR in two cycles, each cycle was carried out in two meetings. The results of the research on pre-cycle action obtained that the classical completeness score was only 33.3% with an average value of 69 and 25% of students in the category of good learning motivation. At the end of the first cycle, classical completeness increased to 75% with an average value of 82 and 16.7% in the category of very good learning motivation and 58.3% in the category of good learning motivation. The study ended in the second cycle obtained 100% classical completeness with an average value of 90 and 41.7% in the very good learning motivation category and 58.3% in the good learning motivation category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can increase motivation and learning outcomes of human and environmental themes in fifth grade students of SDN Kemiriombo in the 2021/2022 academic year. Abstract

This research was conducted to improve the understanding of the concepts of fourth grade students of SD N Tepusen by using investigative group learning. The method used was classroom action research. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students with 19 students and carried out in 2 cycles. The data collection method used is a test question to measure students' conceptual understanding. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The average value of students in the first cycle showed 66.36 and in the second cycleis 71.81 which means the percentage of the original student passing45.45% and in the second cycle increased to 72.72%. Abstract

For elementary school students, online learning can cause students' learning motivation to decrease if the learning activities are not interesting for students. One of the applications used in online learning today is Google Classroom. The google classroom application provides various features that can be used for learning activities by teachers and students and is easier to use. This research is quantitative which consists of one independent variable and one dependent variable. The research sample was the fifth grade students of SDN-4 Palangka with a total sample of 54 students. Data from the variables of the use of the google classroom application and learning motivation data were collected using a questionnaire. Furthermore, the data that has been obtained, tabulated and then analyzed using the product moment correlation formula to determine whether or not there is a relationship between research variables, then analyzed by t-test to determine whether or not the relationship is significant. The trial and the results were analyzed using the SPSS 25 program. Based on the data analysis of the results of this study, it can be seen that there is a significant relationship between the use of the google classroom application and learning motivation in fifth grade students at SDN-4 Palangka, this is evidenced by the results of the calculation of the product moment correlation. it is known that the value of r-count = 0.509 > r-table of 0.263 at an error level of 5% and the magnitude of N = 54 and the results of the calculation using the t-test, it is known that the t-count is 4.26 greater than the value of t-table = 2.00 which means that there is a significant relationship between google classroom application and learning motivation.
