The Asian Journal of Management Analytics (AJMA) is a journal focused on the theory and application of data analytics and its applications in contemporary business, economics, and management disciplines. The connectivity, interdisciplinary, and interface between data analytics and various business disciplines are of particular interest for this journal. Abstract

Non-Performing Loans (NPL) are an important indicator in assessing asset quality and credit risk management within financial institutions. This study aims to determine the main non-performing loan (NPL) at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia BRI Tbk. This research uses qualitative methods. The data obtained is secondary data with quantitative data types. The research instrument used in collecting data is the financial statements of PT. Bank BRI Tbk in the form of a financial ratio report for 2010–2022. The results of this study showed that the lowest NPL ratio level in 2013 was 1.63% and the highest NPL ratio level in 2021 was 3.00%. The average NPL during 2010–2022 was 2.34%, which is included in the healthy category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to conduct an in-depth analysis of the financial statements of the company PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk by using financial ratios as an approach. The method used in this research is the descriptive statistical method, which uses liquidity, solvency, activity, and profitability ratios from 2019 to 2022 as material for analyzing financial statements. The results of the study describe the calculation of each financial ratio of the company and how, in each ratio, the company's finances have increased or decreased. This shows that PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk has been able to improve its financial ratios, even though they are still not stable.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk using relevant financial ratios for the 2020-2022 period. The methodology used includes descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. Financial ratio analysis consists of liquidity ratios, profitability ratios, activity ratios, and solvency ratios. The results showed that in 2022, the liquidity ratio increased significantly while the solvency ratio decreased. The activity ratio has increased after experiencing a decline in 2021, and the profitability ratio has decreased every year. The average financial ratio yield in 2020 was better than the following two years. This research provides new insights into the importance of using financial ratios in evaluating a company's financial performance and can improve understanding of the importance of financial ratios in business decision making.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, job satisfaction, and organizational culture on the turnover intention of employees of PT. Medan Distribusindo Raya Kabanjahe. The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership style, job satisfaction, and organizational culture have a significant influence on turnover intention. This is indicated by the Fcount (7.752) > Ftable 2.72 with Sig-p (0.000) < (0.05). The transformational leadership style partially has a positive and significant influence on turnover intentions. This is indicated by the values of tcount (2.061) > ttable (1.991) and Sig (0.029) < (0.05). Job satisfaction partially has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. This is indicated by the values of tcount (3.908) > ttable (1.991) and Sig (0.000) < (0.05). Organizational culture partially has a positive and significant influence on turnover intentions. This is indicated by the values of tcount (2.111) > ttable (1.991) and Sig (0.038) < (0.05). Transformational leadership style, job satisfaction, and organizational culture have an influence on turnover intentions of 44.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of price and product quality on purchasing decisions (studies on Wardah cosmetic products at Hasanah Mart Air Haji). This is a quantitative study with multiple linear regression data analyses. The number of respondents was 91 people. The data was collected using a questionnaire. Based on the results, it can be stated that there is a negative and significant influence between price and purchase decisions. Then, there is a positive and significant influence between product quality and purchasing decisions. The variable that has the most influence on purchasing decisions is perceived price, so companies can maintain prices that are quite affordable and continue to make the latest innovations to improve purchasing decisions for Wardah cosmetic products.

Abstract

In order to get a picture of the profitability of a company by using financial ratios as a measuring tool, this research was conducted to analyze the profitability of PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo, Tbk., from 2019–2022. The data analysis method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach using secondary data. The research results based on the results of financial ratio analysis show that the liquidity ratio is above the industry standard, which indicates a good condition. The debt-to-asset ratio has decreased, so the solvency ratio is in fairly good condition. The activity ratio has increased substantially in 2022. The company experienced a net loss, so the profitability ratio has decreased.

Abstract

Bad credit is an important thing in the banking world because it affects the financial health of banks. This study aims to analyze the level of bad credit at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in terms of the Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data obtained is secondary data with quantitative data obtained from the annual report of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk for the last 15 years, starting from 2007–2022. The results of this study indicate that the highest NPL ratio level was 8.2% in 2007, and the lowest was 1.9% in 2018. The average NPL from 2007 to 2022 was 4.9%, which was included in the healthy criteria and did not endanger the bank.

Abstract

Analyzing financial statements is not only to find out whether a company's financial performance is good or bad; it can also be used to determine or build a strategy for future company planning. The type of research we use is descriptive-quantitative. The population and sample used in this study are the company's financial statements from PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. for the period 2020–2022. By using data analysis techniques that use indicators on each finance, it can be compared between one period and another. Finance PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. appears to fluctuate towards worsening due to the difficulty in paying both short-term and long-term liabilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the financial operations of PT. Unilever Indonesia through an activity analysis of the company's financial ratios for 2020 and 2022. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method with secondary data collected through library research. The results showed that the financial performance of PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk, as measured by financial ratios in the 2020–2022 period. Thus, this research suggests that PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk., improve financial, inventory, and accounts receivable management in an effort to improve the company's financial health and sustain the company in the future.

Abstract

Leadership is one of the most important factors that could influence work performance. The leadership approach starts with the emotional aspect, which could effectively influence work performance in the short or long run. The purpose of this paper is to explore the importance of leadership in enhancing work performance. The paper consists of a quantitative study that looks at how leadership impacts work performance using numerical methodologies. The results of this paper show the positive and significant influence of leadership on work performance. This result reflected the real-life condition in which the quality of leadership affects work performance, since the main approach of leadership indirectly dives into the emotional aspect, which can spark motivation and satisfaction, which in turn lead to high work performance as the result of effort and hard work from the employee.
