Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know the tourism potency of Tegal Linggah village which will be the fondastion to develop the village into community based tourism, the community perception the plan of community based tourism development, and how to make strategic development of community based tourism. The research use the drescriptive statistic analysis and SWOT analysis. The result of the research is to get potencies of Tegal Linggah village, they are natural, culture, social conomic and culinary. Then other potencies are accessibility to the village. The perception of the community to the plan of community based tourism development are 40,75% / very agree, 57,83% / agree, and 1,42 / only still doubt. The strategys in the community based tourism development are: organizing of managemen, making the house rules of th community based tourism, planning of tourist attraction, preparing the infra and supra structure of the community based tourism, socializing to the community, marketing the product of CBT, making the program of cleaning village.

Abstract

These days tourism has becoming a need, which stimulate many demands for travelling, tours, leisure, and increasing the tourism and hospitality business in every destination. There is no other reason for those paradigms, beside to fulfill the needs of tourism to support and facilitate the development of tourism. One of the important factors to meet the tourists’ needs is an accommodation or lodging. In This globalization era where we could see many intense competitions between every lodging business, one which could stay run in long-term period, is the one who is capable to satisfy the wants and the needs of their customers. The purpose of this research is to identify the hospitality implementation in one of the rural tourism destination in Bali: Penglipuran Traditional Village in terms of attraction, accessibilities, amenities, ancillaries, and community involvement.

Abstract

The tourism industry is required to be creative because it involves many factors and segments in the society. It is particularly for continuing to grow and having a sustainable advantage that can be enjoyed by the local community. This study discusses spa-based community with examples of small-scale spa-businesses together, to be one source of employment in the industry of tourism. Spa as an example of creative efforts the local residents, contributing to the local community. The Community-based creative businesses, as an alternative to plunge women in the tourism industry. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Spa as a center of health and beauty has enriching community-based health and beauty by linking tradition, culture, expertise, and creativity that already exists in the local community. It is essential for the advancement of culture, especially the tourism industry in Bali. To understand the importance of creativity and innovation in developing a spa business that reflects the local culture. Spa in addition to being one of the alternative forms of tourism, tourism pro-community, also is one form of sustainable tourism.

Abstract

Nowadays, one of the Asian’s tiger in economy, The People’s Republic of China (PRC) not only developing their economy through a pure industrialization as we can found in Mao’s Era. When we throw back into the Deng Xiao Ping’s era, PRC announced its new policy that is ready to face the new world, called the Open Door Policy. According to the policy, tourism became one of the alternatives to increase the economy after suffered from Mao’s era. Furthermore, the term of tourism in China is not restricted as the businesses travel, as pilgrimage or as wellness business. Afterwards, tourism became a need, not only a want toward the Chinese citizen and grown up into the development of domestic tourism. The government of the PRC do their effort in accommodate the need of the citizen of tourism by bridging the tourism policy through manage the potential of the nature and giving the sufficient accessibilities to built the proper tourism destination.

Abstract

This research is taken at the district of Gorom Island east Seram in scheme to find out willingness to pay from tourists that visiting maritime tourism in the water Kon island. This research is taken to begin  January antil April 2013. Interview method, documentation, and library study are used in collecting data,  the  result of research will be analyzed by using mean approach that is  quantitative analysis method, beside it used descriptive comparative analysis method that is qualitative analysis method.The result of the analysis, that willingness to pay per-coming is amount Rp. 51.500 and per-year for domestic tourist is amount Rp. 152.667, while for foreign tourist is amount Rp. 248.333. The payment system ought be applied at the area of water Kon island is pe-year system.

Abstract

As a widespread tourists destination, Bali in 2011 the international tourists arriving in Bali were increasing around 1.437.725 pax. Especially Asian tourists, they are the major tourists who came to Bali between 2007 and 2011. In view of the Asian tourist become increasingly choosing Bali as a tourists destination, this research will concern about Who are the Asian tourists in Bali? What are their activities in Bali, according to their nationalities? Third, Do the Asian tourists who come from different countries doing the same activities? Fourth,  Are their motivation, perceptions, representations, and ways to travel are the same according to their origin country? This research will combine both of qualitative and quantitative methods by reason of heighten the result of the research. In addition to enriched the result, in this research also supported by the literatures both printed or online those are in line with the grand theme of the research.
