Abstract

This article was aimed to formulate the construction of tourism village development model towards smart eco-tourism in Paksebali village, Kungkung regency, Bali. The methods of collecting data included observation, interview, documentation, and Focused Group Discussion. The data were analysed using qualitative method and SWOT analysis. The findings showed that the political will of the government in Klungkung regency and Paksebali village, as well as the participation of the local community had a great contribution to the development of the tourism village. The analysis of internal and external factors were used to formulate alternative development strategies that included conservation and revitalization of arts and culture, nature and environment conservation. Village tourism product development was conducted in a gradual and sustainable manner. Improvement of facilities and infrastructure, included HR Quality Improvement, Strengthening tourism village institutions, marketing systems, and increasing community participation.

Abstract

Potensi Desa Pelaga berupa perpaduan antara keindahan panorama alam dengan pola kehidupan masyarakat agraris beserta keunikan adat istiadatnya apabila dikemas dan dikelola dengan baik sebagai destinasi terintegrasi dalam bentuk “Pelaga Agrotourism Park” akan memiliki prospek dalam peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat. Permasalahannya adalah keberadaan kelompok masyarakat di desa Pelaga seperti Pokdarwis sebagai motor penggerak pariwisata perdesaan belum memiliki kemampuan mengelola agrowisata yang akan dikembangkan. Kelompok-kelompok pendukung agrowisata seperti kelompok pengolah pangan belum berkembang dengan baik. Kelompok Karang Taruna Desa Pelaga juga masih belum kreatif dan produktif. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah terlihat manfaat yang diperoleh masyarakat. Potensi yang dimiliki Desa Pelaga telah dikemas menjadi paket-paket wisata pilihan menarik.  Pemahaman dan keterampilan yang diperoleh anggota Pokdarwis dalam mengelola destinasi agrowisata meningkat. Usaha penunjang wisata khususnya oleh-oleh berupa produk usaha kecil masyarakat lokal telah mengusung destination branding “Pelaga Agrotourism Park” dalam setiap kemasan produknya dan sangat membantu pemasaran produk yang bersangkutan dan destinasi agrowisata di Desa Pelaga. Kata kunci: Pelaga Agrotourism Park, pengabdian masyarakat, pengelolaan pariwisata, pengembangan usaha kecil.

Abstract

The goal of community service in the second year (2020) in Pelaga village is to increase the role of tourism aware groups (Pokdarwis) and small business groups (SMEs) for the development of Pelaga Agrotourism Park-based on community. Through mentoring done by the team has been successfully created preferred tour packages and promotional tools online on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram. Agricultural products as supporting tourism produced by SME groups have been successfully improved quality and performance by using the brand Pelaga Agrotourism Park. It is hoped that the use of destination branding will increase the promotion and marketing of agribusiness products and Pelaga village as an agrotourism destination. Keywords: Pelaga Agrotourism Park, village community empowerment.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berlokasi di desa Pelaga, kecamatan Petang, kabupaten Badung, dengan sasaran mitra adalah Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Desa Wisata Tinggan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah lemahnya kemampuan teknik memandu wisata, dan pengelolaan desa wisata khususnya administrasi keuangan, serta belum dimilikinya pengetahuan komprehensif tentang CHSE di era new normal. Solusi yang akan dilakukan adalah dengan: 1) memberikan pelatihan pemanduan wisata, 2) pelatihan dan pendampingan tata laksana administrasi keuangan, 3) sosialisasi dan pendampingan CHSE. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan memandu wisata diikuti secara antusias oleh anggota Pokdarwis. Menurut penilaian wisatawan, dari kegiatan praktik memandu tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa anggota Pokdarwis yang melaksanakan pemanduan telah menguasai teknik memandu dengan baik. Pada kegiatan evaluasi ini diperoleh hasil bahwa peserta pelatihan pembukuan sederhana usaha wisata perdesaan ini juga mudah memahami materi yang diberikan. Sedangkan pada kegiatan sosialisasi protokol kesehatan dan pengetahuan tentang CHSE terhadap anggota Pokdarwis diperoleh respon yang sangat baik. Dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota Pokdarwis Desa Wisata Tinggan dalam mengelola usaha pariwisata perdesaan yang berbasis agro-ekowisata, terutama dalam memandu wisatawan, tata laksana pembukuan, dan penerapan CHSE di desa wisata Tinggan

Abstract

The “Mass-Tourism” that has been developed in Bali, eventually has marginalized the local people. It has obviously also caused a lot of problems including the changing of land use, urbanization, the increase of criminals, narcotic abuse, degradation of local values of life, etc. The development of “Desa Wisata” (community Based Tourism) is the answer of those mentioned above problems. This research aims to analyze the management of “Desa Wisata”(community Based Tourism), Tourist perception of service provided for clients, and the observation of the local values. The method of his research is survey, observations, interviews, documentations, and questionnaire. The results shows from management perspectives that the “Desa Wisata” (community Based Tourism)  has not been professionally managed in term of administrations including reservation system, reception of tourist, accounting, and data base.All those weaknesses were caused by the lack of competence of the human resources. the “Desa Wisata” (community Based Tourism) has not yet decided the planning of the development of the village. The operational just operate without well organized plan. There is no master plan for a strategic development, no innovations and no promotion planning. The Tourist perception of  services provided are Excellent-given to the safety in the room, hospitality of the staff, menu variations, food and beverage presentation, tourist attraction and empathy of the management., Good-given to the reception during he arrival and luggage-handling, comfortness of accommodation, room amenities availability, and the food taste , Fair-given to the cleanliness of rooms and toilets, cleanliness of cutleries and restaurants and garbage handling, Poor-given  to the cleanliness of the environment including receptions, room  availability , food and beverage provided scored as above average. Sanitation and hygiene need to be upgraded and the waste management is still very low. It is recommended for the management to provide training programs especially in increasing the staffs’ foreign language capability mostly English and French.

Abstract

Sangeh travel attractions tends to decrease the number of visitors, therefore it requires an innovative strategy to promote the tourism object. The aim of this study is to create alternative strategy in promoting Sangeh travel attraction. The data in this study was collected through deep interview and note taking or document recording. Then the data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive by giving explanation or interpretation from the data obtained. Therefore, the data was not only in term of numbers, but also there was a clear explanation of the numbers. In this study also used SWOT IFAS (Internal factor analysis summary) and EFAS (Eksternal factor analysis summary) and SWOT matrix technique in analyzing data.            The result of the study shows that Sangeh had not taken the opportunities maximally. The opportunities such the strategy route which is located around Sangeh is not maximal use. The promotion strategy applied through website with no update information by administrator. Besides that, in promoting the tourism object only involves the guest without doing any innovative ways in promoting the product. The highest weakness is there is no cooperation with travel agency. Besides that, external threat includes many similar tourism objects with more attractive products.

Abstract

Wae Rebo is a unique traditional village, known as a famous cone shape house architecture. In Manggarai language, the house is known as Mbaru Niang, it has been discovered in 1920. Mbaru Niang has seven buildings with the different names; they are Niang Gendang, Niang Gena Mandok, Niang Gena Jekong, Niang Gena Ndorom, Niang Gena Jintam, and Niang Gena Maro. They were built in sphere around an altar with the circle shape, called Compang. The people of Wae Rebo considered Compang as a sacred thing. Wae Rebo also has another kinds of culture like Penti ceremony and Caci dance. Not only rich of the cultures, but they also rich of rich potentials of nature such as range of mountain forest, and various kinds of birds like Gagak Flores (Corvusflorensis) and Celepuk Flores (Otusalfredi). They are known as the endemic species of Flores Island. Community Based Tourism (CBT) is a tourism concept used in Wae Rebo tourism development. CBT concept in Wae Rebo tourism was applied from the beginning like planning, implementation, and controlling done by society. To protect the culture, people of Wae Rebo insisted a society organization named Cultural Conservation Institute of Wae Rebo and supported by social organization. The motto of the Cultural Conservation Institute is “Mohe Wae Rebo” means “Preserve Wae Rebo”.

Abstract

 The purpose of this research is to know the quality of room preparation qualitiy to the guest at the tourism village, Pinge. Data analysis technique which is used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique with SevQual method and importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The result of the analysis which is done by ServQual method if the daifference of the prospect level average and the implementation level average is 0,01, it means very satisfying. While the analysis which is used by Importance – Performance Analysis (AIPA) it is known that from 16 service quality indicator, there are 2 indicators that are very important for the guest but the implementation by the attendant is not satisfied yet and it is on quadrant A (main priority). There are 4 indicators which are on quadrant B (keep the performance) that show the main service element is successfully done by the attendant, so it has to keep up. There are 2 indicators on quadrant C (low priorty) that show some the influence of the indicators are not important but the implemntation by the attendant 13 is not satisfied yet. While there are 6 indicators on quadrant (excessive) that show the less important indicators influencing the guest but the implementation is excessive.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know the tourism potency of Tegal Linggah village which will be the fondastion to develop the village into community based tourism, the community perception the plan of community based tourism development, and how to make strategic development of community based tourism. The research use the drescriptive statistic analysis and SWOT analysis. The result of the research is to get potencies of Tegal Linggah village, they are natural, culture, social conomic and culinary. Then other potencies are accessibility to the village. The perception of the community to the plan of community based tourism development are 40,75% / very agree, 57,83% / agree, and 1,42 / only still doubt. The strategys in the community based tourism development are: organizing of managemen, making the house rules of th community based tourism, planning of tourist attraction, preparing the infra and supra structure of the community based tourism, socializing to the community, marketing the product of CBT, making the program of cleaning village.

Abstract

In general this research aims at knowing tourist perception toward the service provided by the small (melati) hotels around Ubud area;  knowing the most influential indicators toward the service of small (melati) hotels in Ubud area. Total samples of the research area 38 melati hotels, while total of respondents are 399 tourists. Researched variables/indicators are 21 indicators wich are related to service dimensions (servqual), namely direct form/proof dimensions tangible, reliability, responsivenees, assurance, and empathy. Analysis applied for this research is the frequency distribution to know how important or how good the service is offered, and performance-importance analysis to rank all the quality determining variables and to indentify actions.The result of servqual analysis shows that all variables/indicators indicate satisfying performances, in which average scores of perception (performance) are bigger than average scores of expectation (necessity) which means satisfied. Therefore, it can be said that guests staying at melati hotels in Ubud area state that the hotel services are satisfying. The result of the importance-performance analysis shows that from 21 variables/indicators evaluated, none of the service indicator exists on quadrant 1 (main priority), 10 service indicators exist on quadrant 2 (maintain achievement), 8 indicators exist on quadrant 3 (low priority), and 3 indicators exist on quadrant 4 (excessive). Whereas, the service indicators of melati hotels which are most influential according to guest evaluation, are such those shown in quadrant 2, namely: commitment realization, sympathetic attitude towards guests, service offered rightly, service offered at the time agreed, accurate noting system, staff willing to assist guests, reliable staff, comfortable feeling on transaction, friendly attitude of staff, and well-knowledgeable staff.
