Abstract

Abstract – Most images have important information or a secret message. Secret message can provoke onset of opportunity the existence of threats to change the message. The messages of the image can be done by manipulating or piracy on the image. The results of image manipulation can change the meaning the image. Such as threats can be avoided by providing a safeguard against the image. Application of Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA) Algorithm for Image Files is one way to secure an image of piracy as well as the manipulation of images. This article discussed the application of the RSA algorithm for image files. This method can hide the image using an early form of the public key and return it to the initial form with private key. The whole process is done by using Visual Basic 6.0. On the various experiments conducted the results of his work from the encryption produces 13 imagery similar to the image of the beginning of 15 sample images. Errors may caused by the selection of keywords which is less precise. Keywords – A Safety Of Image File, The RSA Algorithm, Encryption, Descryption

Abstract

Abstract— Queue is a condition when some persons are waiting for their turn for a service, as often occured at the office of BPJS Kesehatan (Healthcare and Social Insurance Security Agency) in Padang because the presence of large numbers of the customers of JKN-KIS (National Healthcare Insurance – Healthy Indonesians Card) program. This research aimed to know what kind of queuing models already applied and how optimum the performance of the queuing system. This research is an applied research using primary data. The data is analysed by way of calculating the average time of arrival of the customers and average time of services, conducting distribution match test by applying Kolmologrov Smirnov test, and then analysis. The research found that the queuing models being applied are: (M/M8):(GD/∞/∞) and the number of officers at the fast track service counters needs to be increased to be more optimal. Keywords— Queue, Kolmologrov Smirnov Test, Single Channel Single Phase, Multiple Channel Single Phase.

Abstract

Abstract – Queues are people or goods that are waiting in line to become served. This queue usually occurs because many customers want to be served while the number of services is very limited, so customers who come cannot be served immediately because the service is busy. Long queues or too long waiting times will certainly harm the Bank or customers. The purpose of this study is to obtain an appropriate queuing model based on the characteristics of customer arrivals and queuing system performance measures in the queuing model contained in the service system that is in the teller section of Bank Nagari Padang State University Branch. From the results of the study showed that the queue system of the general teller section of Bank Nagari Assistant of Padang State University Branch followed the model (M / M / 1) :( GD /∞ /∞), the level of service usefulness (ρ) was 0.9797, the opportunity for servants not serving 0 , 0203, the average number of customers in the queue (Lq) is 47 customers, the average time the number of customers in the queuing system (LS) is 48 customers, the average time customers can spend waiting in a queue (Wq) is 140 minutes, and the average time a customer can spend waiting in the system (Ws) is 143 minutes. Keywords: Queueing, QueueingModel, Bank Services

Abstract

Abstract – Basically the insurance company requires a reserve fund to pay compensation in the event of a claim. Not a few life insurance companies that incur losses beacuse can’t to pay compensation to participants of the insurance. These circumstances can be anticipated if the insurance company has the reserves that have been prepared and it accounted appropriately. One of the methods used to calculate the premium reserve is New Jersey. These method is derived from the formula of prospective reserves. The calculation of the value of reserves method using New Jersey begins by determining the cash value annuity, then calculate the net single premium, and annual net premium , proceed with the counting of net premium advanced and reserves end of the year-t. These method stated that value a reserve premium in the first year is zero, so that insurance companies can use the premium for the need insurance.Keywords – Premium Reserves, New Jersey Method, Prospective, Life Insurance, Joint Life

Abstract

Abstract– The main problem in the distribution of stuff to consumers is the optimization of costs and shipping routes. PT. Amanah Insanillahia is a bottled mineral water company that distributes its products to every sub-district in Tanah Datar district. However, this company has not yet optimized its distribution cost. To do this optimization requires a transportation method to minimize costs and routes, namely the Saving Matrix method. The Saving Matrix method aims to determine the product distribution route to the marketing area by determining the distribution route that must be traversed and the number of vehicles based on the capacity of the vehicle in order to obtain the shortest route and minimum transportation costs.  The results of the transportation costs of distributing stuff at PT. Amanah Insanillahia by using this method can reduce costs by 35.11% with the optimum distribution route of stuff, namely the first route delivers of stuff carried out, namely Pariangan and Batipuh Districts. The second route is the Sungayang and Rambatan Districts. The third route is Limo Kaum and Lintau Districts. The fourth route is Salimpaung and Sungai Tarab District. Finally the fifth route is Tanjung Emas District. Keywords– Saving Matrix, distribution of stuff

Abstract

Abstract– Rainfall is one of the natural phenomena that always changes from one condition to another. If rainfall occurs with high intensity, it can result in natural disasters. One area in West Sumatra that receives high-intensity rainfall is Padang. In this research the Markov chain method is used to determine the results of rainfall analysis for the future. This study is an applied research using secondary data, namely dasarian rainfall data obtained from BMKG Padang Pariaman. For the future it is predicted that areas that have rainfall tend to be high (Water Plan Semen Padang), areas that have rainfall tend to be medium (Bandar Buat, Limau Manih-UNAND, Lubuk Minturun, Muara Palam-Parak Karakah, Nanggalo, Tambang Semen Padang, dan Teluk Bayur) and the probability for rainfall that falls for Padang tends to be medium. Keywords– Markov Chain, Matrix Transition Probability, Rainfall.

Abstract

Abstract– Consumer satisfaction is one of the important things that must be considered in the business sector. Indicators that are though to influence consumer satisfaction are product quality, service quality, price, and emotional sense. One of the statistical analysis that commonly  used in analyzing such factors is factor analysis. The data used in this research is primary data obtained from interviews by using questionnaire, where the population is comprised of all Ampera Ramah Restaurants consumers. The samples in this research are about 100 people obtained using accidental sampling methode. Based on the results of this research there are six factors that need to be considered to increase consumer satisfaction i.e 1) taste, menu variation, presentation, and cleanliness, 2) empathy, aesthetics, expression, and innate self, 3) responsiveness and assurance, 4) fairness of prices and affordability, 5) food freshness, shrewdness, and price comparison, and 6) portions and physical evidence. Keywords–Consumer Satisfaction, Restaurants, Factor Analysis.

Abstract

Abstract – Indonesia is the most populous country in the world after China, India and the United States. But Indonesia's large population is not followed by an even distribution of the population. Concentration of the population which is mostly fixed in big cities that have negative impact on the environment and the emergence of various social problems. Therefore, an effort is needed to find out which factors influence the inequality of population in Indonesia. This research was conducted with aim to get the model of factor analysis and factors that influence the inequality of population of Indonesia. This type of research is applied research. The data used1 was obtained from the SUSENAS Indonesian Statistics Agency (BPS) program in 2017 which were analyzed using factor analysis. Based on the research1 results obtained models of factor analysis and four factors that affect the unequal population in Indonesia, namely facilities and infrastructuries factors, environmental and housing factors, population independence factor, and population birth factor. Keywords: Factor Analysis, Population Amount, Inequality Problems

Abstract

Abstrak –The spread of parasitic diseases is a significant threat in the areas of health, social, and economic. One example of the spread of infectious diseases caused by parasites is elephantiasis disease. Elephantiasis disease is an infectious disease caused by filarial worms with the type of Brugaria malayi, Brugaria timori, and Whucereria bancrofti. Elephantiasis disease makes the mosquito as a vector in the spread. To model the spread of the elephantiasis disease (Filariasis), an analysis of the theory that is relevant to the issue is conducted. Furthermore, forming a mathematical model, and then specifying a fixed point and analyse the stability of a fixed point, as well as the interpretation of the results of the analysing of the stability of a fixed point of a mathematical model of the spread of the disease to the elephantiasis disease (Filariasis).Keywords – Mathematics Models, Filariasis, stability theory

Abstract

Abstract–Tourism is one sector that has a positive impact an economic development. Tan Sirdano Beach is one of tourism destination in Pesisir Selatan District. In developing Tan Sirdano Beach tourism, a marketing strategy based on visitor satisfaction is needed. However the services that provided by manager have not made the visitors satisfied. The purpose of this research to find level of visitor satisfaction based on Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and visitors’ desire from each attribute based on Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). This research used primary data with 100 questionnaires that is shared to the visitors of Tan Sirdano Beach who had visited at least 2 times. The result from this research that level of visitor satisfaction overall is 70.12% in the range of values 66% - 80.99% which indicates that the visitor satisfaction index is a "Satisfied" criteria. Attributes that need to be improved are beach cleanliness, rubbish bin, toilet, mosque, parking area, road conditions and visitor complaints.Keywords–Consumer satisfaction, Tan Sirdano Beach, CSI, IPA
