Abstract

The background of this research is that the teaching materials in Sijunjung 7 Public Middle School have not been able to make students become active and accustom students to independent learning in solving problems given by the teacher. This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Sijunjung that are valid and practical. The development procedure used is the plomp development model which consists of 3 stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. Teaching materials expected by students are teaching materials that make students active in the learning process and are able to guide students to learn independently. The instruments used are validity questionnaires and practicality questionnaires. Based on the data analysis it was concluded that the LKPD developed was in very valid criteria with an average of 85.7%. The results of the practicality questionnaire analysis based on small group evaluations of 6 students obtained an average of 87.79% with very practical criteria. The conclusion of this research is to produce worksheets based on Realistic Mathematics Education that are valid and practical on flat sided geometric material in class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Sijunjung.

Abstract

The problem that is currently happening is that students' mathematical communication skills are still low. Based on the review where students were given questions, students were not able to make a mathematical model as a solution to solve the problem. So, this research was conducted to find out the characteristics of valid and practical mathematical questions using the context of the Bangka Belitung traditional house. The research and development model used in this study is the Borg and Gall development model. The subjects in this study were students of class VII at one of the Pangkalpinang State Middle Schools, with 40 students, consisting of 9 students in class VII B and 31 students in class VII C. Data collection techniques were conducted by interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative. This study develops questions with the characteristics that have been developed according to mathematical communication indicators, using the context of the Bangka Belitung traditional house, and planes.

Abstract

One of the mathematical abilities that students must have been the ability to think logically. Students' mathematical logical thinking skills are still at a low level, resulting in students having difficulty learning the material given at school, especially straight-line equation material so in solving problems, various mistakes were found by students. This study aims to describe students' logical thinking skills in solving straight-line equation problems based on logical thinking skills and to describe students' learning styles with a thematic approach. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted randomly with the research subjects of class VIII as many as 20 students filling out the questionnaire and 4 subjects who took the logical thinking ability test, whichconsists of one student with high logical thinking skills, one student with moderate logical thinking skills, one student with thinking skills. low logical thinking, and one student with very low logical thinking skills. The data collection procedure in this study was a description test and a questionnaire to see students' learning styles. The results showed that the average logical thinking ability of students was 61.9 inthe low category and the presentation of student learning styles was 10.8% visual, verbal 11.2%, aural 10.95%, physical 9.4%, logical 10.6. %, social 12.5%, and solitary 10.2%. This research can be carried out by the teacher to determine the students' logical thinking ability in solving the questions they give and can see the student's learning style so that the material presented is well received by students.

Abstract

The problem of poverty is a complex problem so that it becomes a priority in development in a country. Various efforts have been made such as social assistance programs, but the assistance provided is not always evenly distributed and not on target. Therefore, it is necessary to determine priority handling for the community by grouping data on the poor, especially in the Province of West Sumatra, Indonesia. In this study, an analysis was carried out using all districts/cities in West Sumatra and poverty indicators, namely the percentage of poor people, poverty depth index, poverty severity index, literacy rate, average length of schooling, expected length of schooling, and open unemployment rate. Grouping was carried out using the Partitioning Around Medoids (PAM) method, or better known as the K-Medoids method. The research results obtained 2 poverty level clusters, namely cluster 1 is a high level with 11 districts/cities members, and cluster 2 is a low level with 8 districts/cities members.

Abstract

Supplier is a business relationship that plays a crucial role in securing the logistics of medicines needed by pharmacies. The large number of suppliers makes it difficult to determine a good supplier. For this reason, an overview of supplier selection is needed according to the criteria expected by the pharmacy using the Simple Additive Weighting method. This study aims to find out the best drug suppliers for the types of drugs Paracetamol 500 mg tablets and Ambroxol 30 mg tablets. The data processed is in the form of data on quality, delivery, price, trust, and responsiveness. In the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, the assessment of each criterion is obtained from the assessment of the assistant pharmacist at the Ridho Farma Pharmacy itself, then proceed with the matrix normalization process based on the equation adjusted for the type of criteria (benefit criteria or cost criteria) so that a normalized matrix is obtained. and proceed with the ranking process. The research results obtained are priority suppliers of Paracetamol 500 mg tablets, namely PT. Penta Valent and the priority supplier for Ambroxol 30 mg tablets are PT. Tri Sapta Jaya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low scores of students in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the window shopping learning model to the learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 29 Sijunjung. This type of research is experimental research with a quantitative approach. As a result, the class with the window shopping learning model has an average of 61.14 and the class with the conventional learning model has an average of 43.04. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained tcount = 2.3569 and ttable = 1.7056, where tcount > ttable, so the hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that the application of the window shopping learning model affects the learning outcomes of Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 29 Sijunjung.
