Abstract

Fire disasters are one of the most frequent disasters happen in Jakarta. These fires mostly occur in densely populated areas. The fire mostly caused by the exploded gas stove and an electric short circuit. Many fire cases are realized by the people around when the fire has expanded and struck part of the houses and buildings, and rarely can be detected early. Based on this incident, we proposed the design of a fire early detection system, which can provide notification on telephone calls and share locations to real-time smartphones through GPS and using IoT. The designed system uses a fire sensor, smoke sensor, and temperature sensor. Also, a GSM SIM 800L module serves as a notification for telephone calls an Ublok Neo 6M GPS module, and an email as a link to share the location of the fire. Together with the Blynk application serves as sensor monitoring and popup notifications on smartphones. The testing results show that the success rate of the fire sensor is 90%, the smoke sensor is 91%, the temperature sensor is 100%, and the response time for a telephone call is 90%. Bencana kebakaran merupakan salah satu bencana yang sering terjadi di Jakarta. Kebakaran ini kebanyakan terjadi di kawasan padat penduduk. Hal ini rata – rata disebabkan oleh kompor gas meledak dan korsleting listrik. Kebanyakan kasus kebakaran diketahui oleh orang sekitar saat api sudah membesar dan menyambar sebagian bangunan rumah dan gedung, namun jarang kasus kebakaran dapat dideteksi lebih awal. Berdasarkan kejadian tersebut, maka dirancang sistem pendeteksi dini kebakaran, yang dapat memberikan notifikasi panggilan telpon dan share location ke Smartphone real-time melalui GPS mengunakan IoT. Perancangan sistem ini menggunakan sensor api, sensor asap dan sensor suhu. Selain itu digunakan modul GSM SIM 800L yang memberikan layanan notifikasi pangilan telepon, modul GPS Ublok Neo 6M dengan meggunakan email untuk share location terjadinya kebakaran. Sedangkan aplikasi Blynk untuk memonitor sensor dan notifikasi yang muncul pada smartphone. Dari hasil pengujian perancangan alat diperoleh tingkat keberhasilan sensor api 90%, sensor asap 91 %, sensor suhu 100%, dan pengujian waktu respon panggilan telepon 90%.

Abstract

Inovasi di bidang Internet of Things berkembang dengan cepat selaras dengan perkembangan masyarakat modern yang memiliki mobilitas tinggi, mencari layanan yang fleksibel dan efisien di segala aspek, dan praktis. Banyak masyarakat modern yang memiliki hewan peliharaan sibuk dengan urusannya masing-masing, sehingga tidak dapat merawat hewan peliharaannya secara baik. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan sistem automatic pet feeder berbasis Internet of Things untuk para pemilik hewan peliharaan agar dapat memberi makan hewan peliharaannya secara teratur dan memantaunya. Untuk dapat merancang sistem automatic pet feeder berbasis Internet of Things ini dibutuhkan Arduino, aplikasi Blynk pada smartphone, dan komponen-komponen lainnya yang dibutuhkan dalam sistem. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perancangan automatic pet feeder berbasis Internet of Things ialah anjing peliharaan dapat makan dua kali sehari dengan teratur. Error yang didapatkan berkisar kurang lebih 10% sampai 25%. Error tersebut dikarenakan adanya delay makanan yang tertuang pada saat penuangan makanan telah mencapai target. Dengan menggunakan sistem automatic pet feeder berbasis Internet of Things ini, pemilik anjing juga dapat mengetahui apakah hewan peliharaannya sudah diberi makan atau belum dengan melihat aplikasi Blynk pada smartphone-nya. Terdapat pula notifikasi jika sisa makanan pada dispenser sudah sedikit, sehingga pemilik hewan peliharaan dapat mengisi makanan pada dispenser.

Abstract

One example of the application of new renewable energy that is currently developing is solar power plant. Based on data from Rencana Usaha Penyediaan Tenaga Listrik (RUPTL) PT PLN (Persero) 2019-2028, it is stated that the potential of solar energy in Indonesia is 207,898 MW (4.80 kWh / m2 / day) and only 78.5 MW of capacity installed in Indonesia. In this study, a 5 MWp solar power plant was interconnected with a 20 kV medium-voltage network of Area X as one of the renewable energy applications in Indonesia. Interconnection studies include power flow analysis and three phase short circuit fault analysis. In the analysis of the power flow results obtained that the Solar Power Plant system is capable of supplying the load requirements to the system of 5,000 kW active power. It was also found that interconnection of solar power plant with the system resulted in an increase in the voltage level of each bus in the system by 0.08 to 1.41%, as well as changing the percentage of component loading by 0.01% -93.01%. The results of the three-phase short-circuit fault analysis show that the interconnection of the solar power plant system has a short-circuit fault current value of 5.70-7.01 kA, so the fault current value for the whole bus is still far below the value of the short-circuit current capacity of the protection system's short circuit worth 25 kA. The results of the interconnection study showed that interconnection of a 5 MWp solar power plant system with a 20 kV medium voltage network Area X can be carried out.

Abstract

Arc faults are a fire-safety risk in both AC (alternating current) and DC wiring, but reliable detection of arc faults and determining the appropriate response is particularly difficult in DC plug-load circuits. This study will discuss the impact of impedance on arc interference characteristics in DC low voltage systems. Experiments were conducted involving accidents that increasingly occur using the arc chamber as a means of experimenting with independent variables including cable cross-sectional area and the number of fibers and control variables will consist of currents and voltages using devices using a Picoscope. In the analysis obtained values of the conductor resistance affect the characteristics of electric arcs. The smaller the value of the conductor resistance, the greater the value of the arc current produced. This is consistent with the values obtained from the study, when the smallest conductor resistance of 0.036 Ω obtained the highest value at the current value and electric arc power of 20.57 A and 19.43 W at the cross section of the conductor 1.5 mm2 with 24 fibers.

Abstract

In industrial companies, the electricity system is an important part of production where a good and standard electrical system increases production performance. So that the system is in accordance with the standards, then an electrical system evaluation is carried out. Evaluation is done by simulating power flow and short circuit using ETAP PowerStation 12.6.0 software. The results of the power flow analysis show that the voltage drop on the medium voltage network ranges from 0.04% - 0.05% and low voltage ranges from 0% - 3.36%, which means the system complies with the SPLN 72 1987 and PUIL 2011. Analysis of power flow shows a decrease in the percentage of loading of cables and transformers by 2.34% - 15.74% and in emergency conditions the generator supplies electricity with a percentage of loading of 44.92% when under normal load. Power flow analysis also shows an improvement in power factor from 0.778 lagging to 0.975 lagging. Following Presidential Regulation No. 8 2011, companies do not need to pay additional fees. Short circuit analysis shows there is a breaker equipment whose capacity is below the short circuit current so that it can suffer damage. Based on the analysis of power flow, the electrical design of PT. Aqua Golden Mississippi is in accordance with PLN standards. And based on a short circuit analysis, the problematic breaker equipment must be replaced to reduce damage.

Abstract

Kemajuan sistem telekomunikasi diiringi dengan semakin luasnya layanan akses internet. Hal ini memicu meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat akan akses internet yang mengakibatkan terjadinya persaingan produk yang tinggi antar ISP (Internet Service Provider). Dampak dari persaingan ini membuat masyarakat bingung khususnya masyarakat pedesaan untuk memilih providers LTE (Long Term Evolution) mana yang memiliki kualitas akses internet paling baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa Quality of Service dengan meninjau kualitas akses internet pada provider Indosat, XL, dan Tri menggunakan standardisasi TIPHON dengan parameter uji berupa throughput, packet loss, delay, dan jitter. Adapun layanan internet yang diuji berupa jejaring social, upload, download, dan video streaming pada waktu sibuk (09.00-13.00 WIB) dan waktu non sibuk (13.00-17.00 WIB). Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode packet sniffing menggunakan software Colasoft Capsa 11 dan Axance Net Tools. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini yaitu provider Indosat memiliki kualitas akses internet yang paling baik berdasarkan pada waktu sibuk dengan nilai throughput melalui software Colasoft Capsa sebesar 554 Kbps dan Axance Net Tools sebesar 558 Kbps, packet loss sebesar 0%, delay dan jitter melalui software Colasoft Capsa sebesar 12 ms dan Axance Net Tools 11 ms sedangkan pada waktu non sibuk dengan nilai throughput melalui software Colasoft Capsa sebesar 437 Kbps dan Axance Net Tools sebesar 427 Kbps, packet loss 0%, delay, dan jitter melalui software Colasoft Capsa sebesar 14 ms dan Axance Net Tools sebesar 13 ms.

Abstract

Penggunaan internet memberikan banyak keuntungan bagi kehidupan kita dan memudahkan manusia dalam menjalankan aktifitas sehari-hari, seperti berkomunikasi antar keluarga, teman, guru/dosen dan perkantoran. Saat pandemi corona ini terjadi, manusia diharuskan tetap berada di dalam rumah guna memutuskan rantai dari virus yang berbahaya ini. Penggunaan aplikasi seperti Twitch, Spotify dan aplikasi streaming lainnya dapat digunakan dalam membantu proses kegiatan work from home, study from home dan sebagainya. Namun, hal ini menyebabkan kualitas video dan audio yang didapatkan kurang memuaskan seperti terjadinya buffering, video yang blur dan audio yang kurang jelas terlebih lagi apabila proses tersebut dilakukan secara bersama dengan penggunaan jaringan internet yang sama. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis mengenai Quality of Service video dan audio streaming dengan protokol RTMP (Real Time Messaging Protocol) guna melihat pada layanan apa protokol RTMP paling baik digunakan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan parameter pengukuran berupa packet loss, jitter, troughtput, dan delay. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan software Axence NetTools dan Colasoft Capsa 11. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini yaitu pada layanan video streaming menggunakan aplikasi twitch protokol RTMP paling baik digunakan karena nilai throughtput yang dihasilkan adalah nilai yang paling besar yaitu sebesar 1.818,76 kbps dengan packet loss 0% dan dengan nilai delay dan jitter yang paling rendah yaitu sebesar 4,2 ms.
