Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 infection is still being an awareness for nurses working in the Hospital. As documented, several nurses were exposed to that infection leading to increased prevalence. To prevent this, innovation must be made to optimize care and reduce infection rates. This clinical experience highlighted the importance of creating personal protective equipment. Also, the recommendation is provided mainly for the stakeholder to increase the production and the availability of that equipment. Abstract

Using plants to develop therapy or treatment in humans seems to be a potential way to improve patient outcomes. The continuum of plant genetics changing into foods that improve health is an applicable strategy at this present. Horticultural Science, microbial biology, bioprocessing, and nutrition sciences require during the process. Therefore, the role of healthcare professionals including medical doctors, pharmacists, and nurses is needed to discover the benefits and process them into usable objects. Establishing coordinated efforts in the evolution of the resources to address health issues and ensure a successful way with institute initiatives program. Also, clarifying and delivering information to the public can be very useful to counteract the symptoms. Abstract

Hypertension is blood pressure that exceeds normal limits where systolic blood pressure> 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure > 90 mmHg. To overcome this, it is necessary to make non-pharmacological therapy, namely the application of slow deep breathing exercises. This study aims to apply the application of slow deep breathing exercise to decrease blood pressure in patients with hypertension with ineffective brain tissue perfusion. The method used in this research is a case study with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the application of slow deep breathing exercises can reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension with ineffective brain tissue perfusion. Slow deep breathing exercises can lower blood pressure by activating the autonomic nerves so that vasodilation occurs in blood vessels. Abstract

Hemodialysis is cleaning blood through an artificial kidney or dialyzer assisted by a machine. Kidney failure patients undergoing therapy experience anxiety due to various stressors. One way to overcome fear is to use relaxation therapy, including Benson relaxation. Benson relaxation is a breathing relaxation technique with the addition of an element of belief in the form of words that express the anxiety that the patient is experiencing. This literature aims to determine the effectiveness of Benson's relaxation on reducing stress in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. A literature review comparing some literature through the journal databases used is Pubmed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Garuda Portal, and Jane Semantic. The keywords are "Benson relaxation, anxiety, chronic renal failure and hemodialysis," "Benson relaxation technique on the anxiety of patient hemodialysis," "Benson relaxation for anxiety disorders," or "Benson relaxation for patients undergoing hemodialysis" or "non-pharmacological therapy for reduce anxiety from 2016-2021 full text. There are seven journals reviewed and used in this literature review. The results show that Benson relaxation is proven effective in reducing anxiety in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. Keywords: Kidney disease; nursing care; relaxation technique; anxiety; psychological outcomes

Abstract

Hemorrhoids are diseases affecting the rectum and anus caused by damage to the hemorrhoidal plexus or blood vessels around the rectum and anus. If hemorrhoids are large lumps, then one of the steps is hemorrhoid surgery. One of the effects of post-hemorrhoidectomy is pain felt in post-hemorrhoidectomy patients. This study aims to apply the application of sitz bath hydrotherapy to decrease pain intensity in post-hemorrhoidectomy patients. The method used for this application is a case study. The length of pain felt was measured using the VAS and NRS pain scales. The results of this study indicate that the application of sitz bath hydrotherapy with the main ingredient of warm water at a temperature of 40-45OC can be applied to post-hemorrhoidectomy patients who experience moderate to severe pain. Keywords: Nursing care; pain management; surgery; complementary therapy; nursing intervention
