Abstract

This research was carried out by implementing onenoday development screening bags by parents with toddlers. Implementation of the media is needed to assess the product used. Developmental delays can be caused by a lack of concern for parents in carrying out stimulation, early detection, and intervention. So far, mothers under five have used the Mother and Child Health book as a medium for inspiration and early detection of child development. Unfortunately, the use of MCH book media by mothers under five is in the less category, and parents do not read MCH books for various reasons. Providing stimulation by providing traditional counselling before makes the material unacceptable. Therefore, this study proposes the implementation of a no-day development screening bag to assess parents' response to the product. This research design is descriptive and quantitative. The research sample was 30 parents with children under five in the working area of the Kalimanah Health Center. Incidental sampling technique. The instrument is in the form of a questionnaire, a Likert scale measurement scale. The data obtained is analyzed by calculating the percentage of answers to the questionnaire for each item. The results showed that it was easy to use 86.7%, instructions for use were clear 84.2%, users felt interested 87.5%, felt enthusiastic and motivated 85.8%, easy to understand material 83.8%, gained knowledge about early detection of toddler development 85.8%, could use 89.2%. We concluded that onenoday, parents with toddlers can implement development screening bags. Keywords: Child care; innovation in pediatrics; child development; health education; healthcare system

Abstract

The world reached a point where it was starting to change from a COVID-19 pandemic footing to an endemic area. Although variants of SARS-CoV-2 (novel coronavirus) pend this trajectory, the country may be ready to reimagine its effect on public health systems. Over two years ago, as new variants of COVID-19 emerged, Indonesia's public-health priorities focused on the essential missions of getting society assessed, vaccinated, and boosted while maintaining access to healthcare in hospitals. Inequalities predating the pandemic were laid bare as historically marginalized communities bore the brunt of the pandemic's ill impacts. Many healthcare professionals are now redressing vulnerabilities and planning a more robust path against infection. To help guide them on this journey, the healthcare provider should set forth four imperatives authorities consider when developing a comprehensive strategy to live with COVID-19. As the transition from pandemic to endemic is on the way, defining the next normal, tracking progress, limiting illness and death, and slowing transmission should be performed massively. Governments have a unique role in stewarding evolution by supporting innovative technology to deal with other health issues. The ground on which this next ordinary settle determines whether the lessons during the pandemic are heeded and could create a new habit for public-healthcare systems to emerge more responsive to whatever challenges lie in the future. Finally hope, this pandemic will end soon, and people may generally live without concerns. Keywords: Pandemic; endemic; innovation in health; quality care; health technology

Hypertension requires compliance to improve the health of one of the therapies, namely by using non-pharmacological therapy independent actions of nurses such as hydrotherapy (foot soaking in warm water), a straightforward and natural medicine because this treatment method does not have harmful side effects, and does not use drugs. Modern. This study aims to prove the effect of a warm foot soak mixed with salt and lemongrass on reducing blood pressure in hypertension. The method used in this study is a case study. This study describes a case study on nursing care at the risk of ineffective cerebral perfusion. The subject of this case study uses one respondent who does not take hypertension medication regularly, with the classification of moderate hypertension at the age of 45-65 years. Abstract

Vertigo may harm the patients; however, many vertigo sufferers are less concerned about dizziness. The only action taken is taking medication when vertigo recurs and lying down or resting at home. Efforts to reduce vertigo symptoms non-pharmacologically include therapy Brandt-Daroff, which can accelerate vertigo recovery and prevent recurrence without taking drugs. This study aims to apply the therapy Brandt-Daroff to relieve vertigo symptoms in the elderly in the family. The method used in this research is a case study with a purposive sampling technique. The sample was an elderly patient aged 49 years who experienced vertigo with a pain scale of 4. The research data was taken by the participatory observation method. Interview and documentation method. This study found that physical therapy Brandt-Daroff can reduce vertigo symptoms in the form of pain from a scale of 4 to a scale of 2 within six visits for two weeks. Brandt-Daroff exercise minimises the scale of pain that can be done at home. Keywords: Vertigo; nursing care; community nursing; Brand-Daroff exercise; pain scale

Abstract

School-age children's development stages are a significant time for the continuity of children's development because school age is a period where children gain knowledge and experience that can bring them into adolescence. The role of parents as people closest to children also affects the process of child development, one of which is providing stimulation to children to achieve optimal growth and development. This study aims to describe the early detection and stimulation of development in school-age children. The method used in this research is a case study using purposive sampling. The sample used was a 9-year-old school-age child who experienced a lack of developmental stimulation in children. The research data was taken using participatory observation methods, unstructured interviews and documentation. The results showed that providing health education can increase developmental motivation in children. Health education is useful for increasing developmental stimulation in children to achieve optimal growth and development.
