Abstract

Booklet on Prevention of Obesity on Knowledge Level of Junior High School Students in Yogyakarta CityBackground: Obesity has turned into a global health issue because it occurs nearly everywhere in the world. Prevention of teenage obesity in Special Province of Yogyakarta (DIY) needs to be done as early as possible, especially in the city of Yogyakarta which has the highest rate of obesity compared to other districts, 14,2% within the 5–12 years age group. Behavioural awareness in maintaining their health can be created through an increase in knowledge, which is expected to decrease the obesity rates in teenagers. Objective: This research aims to determine out the effectiveness using booklet (about prevention of obesity) as a medium to educate health towards the level of knowledge. Methods: This type of research is a quasi-experimental with a pre and post-test. Data on knowledge were obtained from pre and post-test questionnaire. Results: There is a difference in the level of knowledge before and after health education using booklet (p<0,05). Booklet gave an effect towards in the form of increased knowledge. Conclusion: There is a difference in the level of knowledge before and after health education using booklet (p<0,05). Booklet gave an effect towards in the form of increased knowledge.

Abstract

The Effect of Infra-Red with Physiotherapy Massage on the Stress Level of Students Who Are Working on Final ProjectsBackground: Students who are working on final assignments often experience stress because they feel tired, anxious, are not enthusiastic about doing their final assignments, so they sometimes choose to forget about them, avoid their supervisors, complain about social media about the difficulties they are facing and ultimately cause delays in the study period. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of infrared massage with physiotherapy on stress levels in students who are working on their final project. Methods: This study used a pre-experimental design. Data collection tools using interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used univariate and bivariate analysis (Wilcoxon test). Results: The results of the study concluded that infrared luminous massage with physiotherapy can reduce the stress level of students who are working on their final project. Conclusion: Infra red luminous massage with physiotherapy can reduce the stress level of students who are working on final assignments.

Abstract

The Effect of Food Hygiene Sanitation with Whatsapp Group Media on Knowledge, Attitude and behaviour on Food Handlers in Karang Field Kotagede YogyakartaBackground: Contaminated food is often made and sold by street hawkers due to poor hygiene and sanitation standards. Food sanitation hygiene behavior can be improved by means of whatsapp media education. The whatsapp application is one of the applications with the highest number of usage in the world.Objective: To determine the effect of food sanitation hygiene education through the whatsapp group media on food handler behavior. Methods: This research type is a quasi experiment with one group pre test post test design. The research respondents were 21 food handlers who were determined by purposive sampling. Data collection using an observational checklist sheet. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test. Results: Based on the paired sample t-test, the significance value (sig) of the behavior level was 0.358 (p> 0.05). The result of the average score of behavior before the intervention (pre test) given food sanitation hygiene education was 16.81, including the moderate category (67.05%). The average result of the behavior score before the intervention after (post test) given food sanitation hygiene was 16.95, including the moderate category (67.81%). Conclusion: There was no difference in behavior before and after food hygiene education was carried out using the WhatsApp group media.

Abstract

Glycemic Index, Glycemic Load and Antioxidant Activity Kawista Juice (Limoniaacidissima) as a functional drink to control blood sugar levelsBackground: Diabetes Mellitus is the third cause of death after stroke and heart disease in 2014. The prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus according to Basic Health Research in 2013 is almost double compared to that in 200. Diabetes sufferers in Indonesia will continue to increase from 8.4 million in the year 2000 to 21.3 million in 2030. This situation requires serious handling and attention from all parties, especially those related to nutrition and food. One of the measures related to nutrition and food is the provision of foods that have a low glycemic index, high fiber, and oxidant activity. Kawista fruit (Limonia acidissima) is one type of fruit that is currently becoming rare in Indonesia. Kawista fruit is believed to have many benefits with glucose content as a source of energy and antioxidants. Kawista fruit is believed to be used to cure tumors, asthma, treat wounds, cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular circulation and hepatitis. Flavonoids, glycosides, saponins and tannins are also contained in this fruit. Objective: To determine the glycemic index, glycemic load, and antioxidant activity of Kawista fruit juice. Methods: This study is quasi-experimental. Measurement of the glycemic index, the glycemic load was carried out on respondents aged 20-30 years with normal nutritional status. Respondents were checked for fasting blood sugar levels to determine the sugar levels in their blood. The intervention was carried out for 2 consecutive days. On the 1st day, the respondents were given a glucose load of 25gr and measured their blood sugar levels at 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes. On the second day of the intervention, respondents were given 330 ml of Kawista fruit juice which was then measured for blood sugar levels. at minutes 0.30, 60.90, and 120. Results: The levels of antioxidants were checked in the Food Technology Laboratory of UGM Yogyakarta. The glycemic index of Kawista Juice from this study is in a low category. The antioxidant activity is known to be 47%.  Conclusion: Kawista juice glycemic index is included in the low category with antioxidant activity of 47%.

Abstract

Analysis of Demand for BPJS Health Traders in Klaten Market, Klaten Regency, Central JavaBackground: The biggest challenge for the implementation of National Health Insurance is participation in the informal sector. Various backgrounds in the informal sector are reluctant to join BPJS Health membership because because they have never got dissemination of information on BPJS, have irregular monthly income, and object to monthly premium.Objective: Determining factors influencing demand for Health BPJS Kesehatan among merchants in Klaten Market, Klaten District, Central Java. Methods: The study was conducted in Klaten Market on 3-8 September 2019. The research design was cross sectional with a sample of 170 respondents. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. The analysis used was the Kendall Tau test (⍺ = 0.05). Results: Based on the Kendall Tau test results obtained income factors (p-value 0,000), premium amount (p-value 0,000), age (p-value 0.643), education (p-value 0.042) and information exposure (p-value 0.010). Conclusion: There is an influence of income, premium amount, education and information exposure on BPJS Health demand and there is no effect of age on BPJS Health demand.

Abstract

Background: Urethral catheter placement is a form of nursing care performed by nurses, a standard for catheter placement is required. Urinary tract infections often occur around 40% of all hospital infections each year. In addition, from some researchers 80% of urinary tract infections occur due to the use of catheterization instruments, because almost 10% of all hospitalized patients, at Bantul Hospital in 2017 There are 21% of patients are infected with urinary tract. Nurse compliance uses standards based on various factors. Objective: To determine the factors associated with the participation of nurses in the implementation of the standard installation of urethral catheters in the inpatient room of Bantul Hospital. Methods: Descriptive analytic research by discussing cross sectional study. The sample used was total sampling with a sample of 43 nurses according to inclusion criteria. Data collection tools using questionnaires and observation sheets. Chi Square data analysis with α <0.05. Results: The gender of female respondents was 76.7%. Age of respondents received 18-40 years 76.7%. The level of knowledge of respondents in the good category is 65.1%. The attitude of respondents in the positive category was 83.7%. The working period of respondents <5 years 51.2%. There is a significant relationship to age with the implementation of the standard implementation of urethral catheters, (P = 0.003 with an OR value of 2.54). There is a significant relationship between knowledge and the implementation of standart urethral catheter placement (P = 0,000 with an OR value of 19.50). There is a significant relationship between attitude with the agreement on the implementation of the standard urethral catheter installation (P = 0.007 with an OR value of 0.361). There is a significant relationship between work period and the implementation of the standard implementation of urethral catheters (P = 0,000 with an OR value of 20.40). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between age, knowledge, attitudes, and years of service to the approval of nurses in the implementation of the standard installation of urethral catheters in care in Bantul Hospital
