Abstract

Conventional learning using the lecture method can lead to low student creativity. To find out student creativity, there needs to be encouragement from the teacher.  From the observation of the preliminary study, the level of creativity of 5th grade students based on creativity indicators was 56.25%. The problem in this study is how PJBL learning can improve student creativity. This research will be conducted in grade 5 SDN 1 Mayong Kidul with 32 students as research subjects. This type of research is an experiment (pre-experimental design). Project Based Learning learning assisted by Pop Up Book media can increase student creativity as evidenced by an increase in the average pretest posttest score which has increased by 26.1%, and the N-gain test results are 0.52 with moderate criteria. So from the results of the study it can be concluded that Project Based Learning learning assisted by Pop Up Book media can increase student creativity.

Abstract

Based on the problems found in the learning process, it shows the limited variety of digital learning media that teachers have in delivering science material. The media used is limited to print media only. With simple media the teacher must explain the material repeatedly to students so that learning is not optimal and efficient. The research deSign used is research and development, a research method used to produce a product to be tested for feasibility and effectiveness. This research was conducted to develop products in the form of e-book-based science teaching materials as learning media for fifth grade elementary school students. The research deSign of the ADDIE development model goes through five stages, namely analysis, deSign, development, implementation and evaluation. Based on the results of the independent sample test, a positive hypothesis was obtained because there was a difference in the average student learning outcomes after using learning media in the form of e-book-based teaching materials on Heat and Transfer when compared to students who did not use media. There is a change in the average difference in student learning outcomes after using media in the form of e-book-based teaching materials. Based on the results of the research and discussion of media development, it can be interpreted that the developed e-book-based teaching material media is suitable for use in science learning on heat and transfer material in grade V SD, with appropriate criteria from media and material experts as well as teacher and student responses.

Abstract

The problem found are that worksheet only focuses on answering question so that students' enthusiasm and activeness in learning process is low and students’ science score is low. This research aims to develop worksheet based on discovery learning assisted by Canva on heat and transfer material in 5h elementary school which will be tested for feasibility and effectiveness. This research and development uses the ADDIE research design and a true experiment design with a posttest only control design. The feasibility results by media experts are 100% (very feasible). While the feasibility by material experts is 77.3% (feasible). The effectiveness results using the independent sample t-test with a significance of 5% obtained 0.000, so that there is a significant average difference between the learning scores of the experimental class (which is 70.23) and the control class (which is 43.33). Worksheet based on discovery learning assisted by Canva on heat and displacement received a very good response from the teacher with 100% and a very good response from students with 98.6%. So conclution is the worksheet based on discovery learning was very feasible and very effective for use in 5th elementary school and received very good responses from students and teacher.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of availability of teaching materials used during the implementation of learning. Teachers have never used interactive media such as electronic worksheet media. This study aims to produce a product in the form of an e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheets on material for human movement organs for grade V SD. Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model is the type of research used in the development of this e-LKPD. The research was conducted at SDN 02 Podo, Pekalongan Regency in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The instrument used was a validation sheet given to 2 validators (media expert validator and material expert validator), user response sheets to a grade V teacher and 27 students. The results of the study obtained an average percentage score of the validator's assessment of media experts and material experts of 90.9% and 100% in the very feasible category. the results of the responses of teachers and students each obtained a score of 100% and 93.9% in the very good category. From the results of the study it can be concluded that e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheets on the material of human movement organs is suitable for use as a learning media.

Abstract

Education has an important role in the development of individuals and society. Mathematics is often considered difficult by students, requiring understanding concepts and applying formulas. The Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model emerged as an effective alternative, enabling students to be involved in contextual mathematics projects. This study aims to investigate the effect of PjBL on the motivation to learn mathematics in SD Inpres 46 Sorong City students. The research method is an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample is 20 grade 3 students of SD Inpres 46, Sorong City. The results showed a significant increase in students' motivation after the treatment. The distribution of pretest-posttest scores is close to the normal distribution. The reliability test shows the motivational questionnaire is reliable. The hypothesis test indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest. Students learn through group work in completing assignments and making works, so they are more enthusiastic in learning. They pay full attention to the teacher's instructions and dare to ask and answer questions from the teacher. In addition, students also actively work together in completing assignments given by the teacher. Thus, this study succeeded in increasing student motivation through PjBL. These results can support the development of more effective learning strategies in the field of mathematics education at the elementary level. According to the results of calculating the average score on the learning motivation scale in the experimental group was 75.35, while the average posttest score on the learning motivation scale in the experimental class was 87.57.

Abstract

Based on the results of PISA data since 2000 in the last 7 periods, Indonesia is still ranked low, while if you refer to the objectives of education to produce students who have the ability to think critically, and reason so that they have the ability of Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). So it is hoped that students can often practice working on PISA-oriented questions, resulting in an increase in the level of Indonesian students to a higher level. The purpose of this study was to describe the problem-solving process of students in solving PISA-oriented problems. The subjects used in this study were three VIII-grade students at MTs Algebra Sorong, with qualitative methods. The research approach used descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques using test results and interviews. The results of this study are at the stage of understanding the problem, students often fail to understand because they are in a hurry or because of the rarity of PISA questions used for problem practice at school. While at the stage of making a problem-solving plan, students neglect to write it in the answer sheet because they are in a hurry. Then at the stage of implementing the plan, students still have miscalculations due to calculation errors. At the stage of looking back at the results obtained, students often consider it unimportant or are written casually.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of problem-based learning in improving student learning outcomes in class VII Civics learning at SMP Negeri 1 Maumere. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) with the method used, namely the problem based learning method. This study consisted of two cycles, which consisted of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were all 32 students in class VII C, while the researcher acted as a teacher. Data collection techniques in this study are tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the test results in Cycle I and Cycle II with descriptive instructions. This means that the data obtained is presented as is and then analyzed descriptively to get the results. Meanwhile, to measure student learning outcomes using the class average value in each cycle. The results showed that the learning outcomes and learning activities of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Maumere in Civics learning had increased, this was shown from: 1) based on the results of observations of students' learning activities, information was obtained that there was an increase from Cycle I to Cycle II both in type visual, verbal, listening, emotional, and mental activities. 2) the increase in class average scores from Cycle I to Cycle II increased by 8.75%, namely from 65 to 75.4. In Cycle II the very high score category of students increased by 12.5% which in Cycle I no students got very high scores but in Cycle II it increased to 4 children in the very high score category. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the problem based learning (PBL) learning method can improve student learning outcomes in class VII Civics learning at SMP Negeri 1 Maumere.

Abstract

Today, advances in learning media technology that previously consisted of audio and visual displays can be combined into multimedia forms. The aim of this study is to be a matter of consideration when choosing learning strategies through the evaluation of student learning experiences. This research is done by analyzing data using regression analysis. First, the data evaluation in this study is a data quality test. Next, do the classic assumption test. Third, a double linear regression analysis test is carried out to evaluate the accuracy and compatibility of the model. This is done to determine whether the regression model is worthy of knowing the free variable or not. The results of the study indicated that the variables of the PBL method in the learning process of the course have an influence on student satisfaction. A value of F of 117,321 and a significance of 0.000 indicate that the test result of F is < the defined significant rate (alpha = 0.05). Project-based learning methods applied in learning poses influence student satisfaction. So it can be concluded that the PBL learning model has an influence on student satisfaction in PSI courses.

Abstract

The decline in service quality standards and promotions carried out by tertiary institutions are two of several factors causing a decrease in student acquisition, this is what influences student decisions in choosing college. This prompted researchers to prove that there was an influence from these two factors, so this research was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing the quality of service and promotion, their simultaneous influence on student decisions in choosing to study at college. The analytical method used in this research is multivariate with correlation or multiple regression. The number of samples in this study was 30 times the number of variables studied, 90 respondents. The data collection method in this research was carried out by filling out a questionnaire distributed via the Googleform application. This research resulted in the following findings: Service quality and promotion affect 69.8% of student decisions in choosing to study at a university. Based on these findings, it is recommended that universities improve and improve service quality and promotion factors.

Abstract

The lack of innovative learning media in Civic Education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah can be a hindrance to the achievement of learning goals and the development of the Pancasila student profile. The conducted research was centered on the development of a companion civic education book for third-grade elementary school students based on the archipelago insight (PAKTARA) with the theme of rights and obligations. The implementation of this research utilized the R&D research method according to Borg & Gall's version. The process was simplified into three stages: preliminary study, product development, and product testing. The validation results of the instructional media by media experts, subject matter experts, and language experts yielded a score of 90%, indicating its validity for use as a student companion book falling under the category of highly suitable or excellent due to the validation percentage falling within the range of 81—100%. The PAKTARA book media also fulfilled the students' learning needs, as indicated by an 85% questionnaire response rate, and exhibited a positive impact on enhancing the students' comprehension of the archipelago-based rights and obligations content, contributing to the advancement of the pancasila learners' profile.
